14 years ago the kingdom of Hainer was founded by a Sorceress named Juile. She had three daughters: Mildred, Natasha, and Kiplee. They each had a power from a three-petal rose. The first petal represented Mildred's power which was telekinesis, the second petal was for Natasha, who had the power to read people's minds, and the final one was for Kiplee, who had the power to change people's desires. They were servants of prince Gian. He instituted one rule for each sister and their individual power for their power to help unify the Kingdom.
For Mildred, she was only allowed to use her power to help people build their homes. For Natasha, she was only allowed to use her power to decide what choices the inhabitants of the kingdom decided which choice was best for the kingdom and finally Kiplee, was only allowed to use her power to make sure that people's desires fell in line with Natasha's decisions.
For several years each servant followed the rule for their power. Until one day when Kiplee grew jealous of her sisters' powers. She felt that Natasha and Mildred's powers were very unique. Kiplee wanted to use her power to make her sisters give her their powers to have that same control of their powers for herself.
When Gian heard of her plans, he was furious. So furious that he ordered the sorceress to hide the rose in a secret place where Kiplee couldn't find it.
When Gian's people heard about Kiplee's decision, the town grew very divided on which servant was right. Everybody had different views. It put Gian between a rock and a hard place. Gian loved all of his servants. But he just couldn't understand why Kiplee wanted her sisters' powers.
Gian knew someday that one of his servants would go rogue. He just didn't think it would be Kiplee.
Before Kiplee went rogue, the inhabitants of Hainer were unified and everyone lived peacefully. But when Kiplee made her choice, as I said before there was division on who the townspeople should listen to. They felt that they should have their own choice instead of having to rely on Natasha to make good decisions for them. But Gian felt that rules that he put into place for the servants' powers would unify his people. But it seemed like because of Kiplee, that now Natasha now also was put in a bad spot. She had to finally choose her path: would she use her power to control people like she had to right now or would she choose to let people make their own choices.
One thing I didn't tell you though was that Gian is also their father. So because these servants were his daughters too. He felt genuinely bad for Kiplee and simultaneously knew where he was coming from. Because in his mind maybe Kiplee was right. Maybe all the power should belong to her. No that's not right but hey all Kiplee was trying to do was maybe make her sister brake the rule for their power.
When you have kids like my parents say it's hard to choose who's right. Gian was so divided on his decision that one day he just had to pull his daughter, Kiplee aside and see the real reason why she didn't want to glorify him and instead destroy the unity of his Kingdom.
Gian looked at her and glared. You could tell he was mad.
"Kiplee, I just can't understand why you are leading your sisters astray. Please help me understand."
"I'm only trying to get them to reconsider why they should follow the rule for their power. Plus, I feel that I should have all the power and glory. I will lead people by showing them what happens when they have bad desires and force them to succumb to being good."
"I feel like you are going about it the wrong way. I mean literally turning Natasha into a totally different person. I honestly feel like she's just not the same happy person she was."
"You're leaving one person out."
"Who?"
"Mildred."
You're right. You haven't done anything to her yet. But before you try to, please just think with your brain and not your want for more power."
Sadly even after their discussion, she still wanted to lead her sisters astray. Now her focus was to get Mildred to stop helping citizens by building their houses. Mildred at first questioned Kiplee.
"Kip, what's your deal? Why are you trying to lead us astray and break the bonds we have with this town?'
"Milly, milly don't you see?"
"See what?"
"You're not really helping the townsfolk. All you're doing is not letting them figure out how to build their houses on their own."
"Kip, I'm just trying to help them."
"No. You're not. All you are doing is making them feel like they are always gonna need your help and not let them do things on their own."
"Kip, I see what you are trying to do."
"Really?"
"Yes. Natasha told me you were trying to change her desire on whether or not she should follow the rule for her power.
"Don't you realize that I only want to show her that she should let them choose for themselves what their actions should be based on their own true desires, right?."
"Yes. But, I see what you're doing here. You want mine and Natasha's powers for yourself!"
"No I don't. I'm only trying to show you guys what it's like to break the rules and take some risks. Don't you know that no one gets anywhere without breaking a few rules."
"I get what you're trying to say but when it affects society you have no choice but to follow the rules."
"Come on, don't you want to live a life without restrictions?"
"Not when it hurts other people. "
"Don't you understand that there's a cost for everything?"
"I do. But you have to weigh your choices with what could happen because of your decision to misbehave and what could happen if you choose not to break the rules."
"You're thinking about it too much. You shouldn't care how it affects the people around you. You should only care what will happen to you."
"Well, I'm sorry but I know if I break the rules the town will go into shambles."
"Sometimes, you have to realize that to get what you want you have to make sacrifices. Your sacrifice is that you might have to hope that the kingdom of Hainer can go without you."
"I'm sorry. I just can't do that. I care way too much about this town to let it erupt into chaos."
"Fine you two have left me with no choice. Tomorrow I will announce to the town that I'm leaving and anyone who wants to join me can."
"You cannot do that. You will draw a line in the sand that will be detrimental to this kingdom. Plus, what do you have to offer them?"
"What about the opportunity to learn how to do things for themselves and have independence in their choices ?"
"Don't you think that King Gian has thought very hard on what is best for this kingdom?"
"Honestly?"
"Yes."
"I just want to give people the chance to choose for themselves instead of relying on me to change their desires to make them wanna fall in line with what Natasha wants them to do."
"I don't think you're being truthful here."
"But I am. "
"I don't think so. If you truly want mine and Natasha's powers, you gotta want something out of it, right?"
"Even if I did, how is it your problem?"
"Fine. You can draw the line in the sand here. But don't blame me if you're the reason this whole town falls into disarray."
The next day Kiplee walked into the center of the town and sounded the messenger's trumpet.
When the trumpet was sounded, the whole town gathered around her.
"I am here to draw the line. I am leaving this town to go out into the wilderness and create my own town where people will live and learn on their own accord."
King Gian heard the message and pulled his daughters into the throne room.
"I will be the one to draw the line. I am dividing the Kingdom into 3 separate towns and each town will be run by a different servant. Mildred will run the 1st town, Natasha will run the 2nd town and Kiplee will run the final town."
