"Natasha said to find the third stone we must find the peak between two bodies of water."
"Exactly. But what do you think she meant by the peak between two bodies of water?"
"You know I'm a little confused on what she means by a peak."
"She probably meant a hill between the two bodies of water and was just using a different word. She is often a synonym user."
"Now that makes more sense."
"True. My mom tries to find many ways to say the same thing."
"So do you mean that you have to ask her what she means sometimes?"
"I do."
"Oh. So that means that she can confuse people easily?"
"Yes she was able to confuse my brother very easily."
"Isn't your mom, Natasha?"
"She is. So who's your dad then?"
"That's not important right now. I will tell you when the time is right. For right now, we should just focus on finding the last stone."
"You're right."
"So let's find those lakes now."
The ground shook as a blue orb dropped from the heavens. I looked at it as it descended upon me. I then saw a lady in a red cloak. She looked at Kasey.
"Servant of Natasha, I am here to guide on finding the last stone and I'm also here to warn you that your brother Haze has teamed up with Sia and her minions."
"Wait, you mean he knows that we're trying to find the last stone?"
"Yes. He is definitely hot on your trail. In fact he has already gone to your mom about where the last stone is."
"Do you know what she told him?"
"No. Sadly I only know what I told you because of Grandpa Gian being able to see what's happening in this world and the spirit world."
"So you mean he has always been able to see beyond the veil like I have from a very young age?"
"Yes. But my time in this world has ended. So for now I will give you an orb to guide you to the last stone."
The Enchantress disappeared as a red orb fell from the heavens and landed in front of me.
We followed the orb until a wind breeze passed us and we heard thunder roar. Rain then started falling from the sky.
I looked at Kasey as darkness fell upon us.
" Can't you ask the orb where to find shelter from the rain?"
The orb guided us to a cave and disappeared into the darkness. To my surprise there was already a fire waiting for us. Sitting by the fire was a young boy. Kasey dropped her jaw.
"It's you!"
He smiled.
"Yes it's me, big sis."
"Mother always said to never hit a girl so how will you battle me?"
"Who said I have to listen to her? Plus, she's not here."
"So what?"
"So she can't protect you now."
I got in between them.
"Haze, she's your elder sister so if you fight her, you aren't respecting your elders."
"Oh. So you're saying I can't fight her because she's older than me?'
"Yes."
'What about the rule that you can't fight in the dark?"
"Who made up that rule?"
"Grandpa Gian."
"Stop with the excuses and fight me already! I didn't come all this way to not get the stones!"
"Just face it. We aren't battling you this late at night!"
"We? Who said all of you were battling me? I wanted to battle Kasey, not any of you wannabes."
"Wannabes? Well I gotta.."
"What? Pulverize me?"
"Stop trying to battle my battles, Kaze."
"She's right. This is her battle and not yours. So stop trying to protect her."
"I promised that as long as I was here that you would not get the stones!"
Haze smiled.
"I'm sorry but I think you made a promise you can't keep!"
"I didn't! The stones will not fall into your hands."
Haze levatited me into the air and the stones dropped out of my pockets.
Kasey jumped towards the stones and grabbed them.
"Haze we fought for the rights to these stones when we fought Aunt Sia and won. So these stones are rightfully ours!"
"Yes that's true but I have the right to fight you for the last one."
"He's right. He does, Kasey."
I shook my head.
"But we don't have the third stone yet!"
"She's right, Haze! We don't!"
"Fine, I will help you find the last stone and then I will be the one to win it from you!"
"So where do you think the last stone is?"
"First things first, what was the riddle for the last stone that mom gave to you?"
"All she said was to search the peak between two bodies of water."
"That's a tough one. "
I yawned.
"Why don't we sleep on it?"
"Sleeping is meaningless until we find the stone!"
"Haze, sleep is essential. If we don't sleep we can't function for the next day."
"You're right we should sleep on it, I'm tired anyways."
We fell into a great sleep. My dream that night was very weird. I dreamed that I was standing in the air above Haze and Kasey. They were deciphering the riddle for the last stone.
"I think the bodies of the water part means two lakes." Haze said.
"What about the peak part?" Kasey said.
"Maybe a small hill."
Then far off in the distance I saw a portal open. I saw the dastardly fiends (Sia, Hian and Hendra) come out of it.
Sia looked at Haze.
"I sent you here to find me the stone not to goof around."
"Master, we're still trying to figure out the riddle."
"How smart do you have to figure out some stupid riddle?"
Then I woke up in a panic because I tried to move my body and couldn't. I looked around and saw that Kasey, me and Liana were chained to a wall. Sia was standing in front of us. In her hands she was holding the stones. I glared at her.
"Those aren't rightfully yours!"
"They are now."
"Sia, they won't work for you!"
Sia placed them down in front of a three-petal rose.
"Wait! Is that the original rose?"
"Yes. I plucked it from the grave of the enchantress."
She placed the stones in front of the rose. The rose shot two separate beams at them and they rose into the air as words appeared spouted out of them.
The words were the riddle for the third rose. But it had more words to make it more concise. It said Search the peak between two lakes. One small and one big connected by a canal on the top and the two bodies of water flow downward together. If you do not find the stone above the top of the stream of water, search the center where there is no water.
The words disappeared.
