Baram suddenly opened his eyes he could feel something ominous. Years of experience told something wasn't right. He removed the covers and was about to get out of bed, when saw a gleaming blade and felt a intense pain in his chest.
Before he could even say something the blade twisted and withdrew. Alex gazed at Baram's corpse with indriffence. After killing Baram the left the office as silently as he came in. He headed straight for Kurt's resident's.
He knew Raina was right if he didn't kill the both of them now he would never get the chance again. When he got close to the place he noticed something. He stayed at a distance and watched the place.
After watching the place for awhile he saw some guards outside, guarding the place. Seeing that Alex was surprised, before having a frown on his face. As much as the situation was surprising it wasn't out of his expectation.
"Mmm...so how should I handle this? I do have a few strong spells but they would most likely alart Kurt and thoes guards are certainly not weak. They are at least Rank 3 and theirs four of them. That's unusual how would a Rank 3 pirate, have guards the same rank as him around. Even if he does work for the Arcane Brootherhood." Alex wondered
He tried to think about it carefully but could not understand how Kurt got those guards. "I'll try to figure it out later but for now how am I going to go about this? Should I kill them but if I do that. The Brootherhood would know their captains were assassinated."
Alex went closer to the building as he got closer he could see a window. It was closed but that wasn't a problem. The waited for one of the guards to leave the area before he moved to the window.
He withdrew his dagger and used it to cut the lock. Luckily the lock was made of it was fragile steel. Once the window was unlocked Alex opened it and snuck inside. Once he was inside he quickly closed the window in order to not draw attention.
He quickly searched the rooms coming up empty. Until he a door at the end of the hall. It was the only room that had yet to search. He snuck up the room and quietly opened the door.
He saw a figure on top of the bed, Alex assumed the figure to be Kurth. Alex held the dagger tighter and quietly made his way to the bed. He stabbed Kurth in the hart and activated shadow strike just to be sure.
Kurth opened his eyes when he was stabbed. His face was one of shock before the light in his eyes dimmed until it disappeared. Alex was prepared to leave when Kurth's corpse had a change. His human figure disappeared and was replaced with a tall dark elf.
He surprised by the sudden situation. He looked around the room in alarm.
