Cold heavy rain fell on the port city of Luskan.
On the south side of the city stood a temple, it was the Red Sails Temple.
In the wide and damp temple there were two people, one was kneeling and the other was standing infront of them.
They were Alex and the other was a priestess of the temple. The one standing had pale blue skin and green long hair, she wore a long dark green robe and a necklace made of long sharp teeth, from the way it looked they might be sharks teeth. Alex thought, he was still trying to figure out what she creature she was.
She looked like a aquatic elf or maybe she was a water gensai, he could not decide. "So why did you come here human?" She asked. He was taken out his thoughts when he heard her speak.
Alex lowered his head further. in a humble gesture. "I seem to be suffering from the effects of some kind of spell." He said "I was hoping that you could help me deal with it's effects?"
She listened without a change in expression. When she finished listening to him she pondered for a bit before giving him an answer.
"If you can pay the appropriate amount, I have no issue with helping you." She said as she looked him up and down.
Her eyes had a golden glow to them as she looked at him. Alex found the way she looked at him to be a little uncomfortable. He slightly moved back because of that.
"Burning blood?" she thought. "How...what happened?" Was he attacked by a necromancer or was it something else?
It wasn't a high level spell but she had only seen this spell on people who were attacked by neromancers. It seemed to be a favoured spell of theirs. "Who did you encounter?" She wondered.
When Alex heard this he stiffened. He didn't wish to tell anyone what happened. It's not like he thought she would tell anyone but he simply couldn't want to take that chance.
Seeing his reluctance she decided not to dig further. "Don't worry about that, at the end of day it doesn't really matter." She nodded her head after that. She seemed to be thinking out something. "Can you pay the appropriate amount?"
"How much?" Alex asked, this was the only thing he was worried about. Although he had money he wasn't sure if it would be enough.
"4000 gold coins!" He lifted his eyebrows in suprise. Although he had enough money this amount still suprised him.
