He gritted his teeth and reached for the pouch on his waist.
He took out his remaining money and it vanished suddenly into his ring.
He used the ring on his left hand to store the money away.
The money remaining in was exactly 4000 gold coins.
It pained him to hand over that much money to someone else.
The priestess took the pouch from him and bouched on her hand a few times before on her hand.
She was checking the weight, usually only merchants and thrives would do that.
Most people would count the coins individually, considering the method she use, she was experienced in handling large sums of money.
When she was done she had a satisfied look on her face.
She put the pouch away and extended one of her hands in front of Alex.
Although Alex was kneeling and had his head lowered, he could still see the priestess glow.
Her hand glowed with a bright gold colour.
As his entire body was showed by the golden light he started to felt his wound starting to ich.
He looked down at the wound and removed his shirt as well as the bandage beneath.
Once the bandage and the wound was exposed, Alex saw the wound slowly starting to close.
It was healing he let go of the material, conceling his wound.
He started to feel more enigetic, he could feel his energy returning.
When she was done, he could tell because the warm glow stopped.
When it was done Alex stood up and bowed. "I thank you and the sea goddess for the help."
She starred back at him "No need to thank me, you only have to thank the Sea Goddess."
Alex turned around and left the temple, when he left a large man in dark green armor and equally dark green scales approached the priestess.
The man was one of the temple guards.
"Do you have any information on him?" the priestess asked with a calm and composed voice. "...Yes! that human appears to be a member of the Zhentarim." When she heard that she had a confused look on her face.
"We should not have any connection with them right?" "No I don't think so..." The guard said as he lowered his head further. The priestess was even more confused now.
.....
Alex exited the temple and was embraced by the cold rain from outside.
He exhaled a breath of air, then walked down the stairs and onto the road he starred back at the temple for a moment before walked back to his inn.
As he got back the first thing he saw was the innkeeper he was young dark elf but that was not what caught his attention.
When he first stepped into this place the first thing that caught his attention was he the loud noise that came from the tavern on his left.
The innkeeper said something but Alex wasn't paying attention. "What did he say?" Alex thought as he turned back to the look at the innkeeper.
