"Hey, are you ok?" Darla asked Anderson as she watched him walk only with his head down muttering something to himself as he kept occasionally looking at the short engineer guy.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"You sure?," Darla asked, not believing him one bit, she could see him stocking blocks around himself trying to be the stone cold mysterious Anderson that people in there have come to fear.
"Yeah, Darla I'm fine," Anderson said, giving her one of those smiles where he exposed his canines and let his dimples show that had human girls wet but for other werewolves, they knew the threat that came with smile, it was a 'back off before now while I'm in a good mood before I destroy you in person kind of look' he always gave to the werewolf who are just trying to get with him because he's the son of the Alpha.
"That won't work on me Anderson," Darla said, staring directly at him as they waited for their luggages to be loaded onto the plane first.
"You have gotten comfortable Darla," Anderson said with a simple smile as he brought out his already rolled sativa.
"Is that a sweet threat Anderson?"
"And serious weed?," Darla asked staring at him with worry, when ever Ander smoked weed it just meant he was extra stressed and didn't want to overthink anything. He had been doing it since they were sixteen and she was fourteen when they sneaked out with some of their human friends to take a smoke and they will always refuse until one day Ander took a go at it and he overtook it and that night, he was the first of werewolves to have their first awakening at sixteen since the sixteenth century according to Atkinson, one of the elders.
"Yes, weed," Anderson said in between puffs, the air was getting more and more foggy as winter was past knocking the door and was just getting comfortable.
"What?,"
"You think I'm gonna have a third awakening or something?," Anderson said, giving an empty laugh, it helped no purpose, almost sounding bitter. He killed the light on the weed and headed to climb the plane so he could sit in the isolated seat that was at the back of the plane. It was a place people hardly sat on because the more comfortable chairs were in front.
Sitting down, he put his ear pods on, and summertime in Paris was still playing forgetting he left it on repeat but being the temporal lazy guy he was, he left it playing anyway as he relaxed and closed his eyes as the Sativa started taking effect on his body and he could feel himself relaxing into the music and his usual hallucinations started to get baked and played before his eye leads, but good things don't last forever as a hand tapped him on the shoulders, he ignored the first tap waiting for the person to get the message and let him be but whoever this person was really had a nasty death wish as they refuse to let him be, and what he dreaded came to him, THE SECOND TAP.
Letting out a low growl, he removed his left earpods and took a deep breath hoping to breathe every murderous thoughts that ran through his mind, he cracked his fingers and opened his eyes to see an extremely nervous looking William and every other person on the plane looking at him wearily, ignoring all of them, he looked at william and telepathically asked him what he wants, something he learnt to do from his father, while other woves could only do it in their wolf form, he could do it in both human and wolf form.
"Uhm...sorry for disturbing you, I didn't know you were in a bad mood." William said, turning around.
"Willy!," Anderson called out feeling bad, he hated and loved it when people had to walk on eggshells around him.
"Talk to me mate," Anderson said.
"Well…" William said sitting down beside Anderson who had a deep red eye probably from smoking.
"What is it?," Anderson asked him.
"Well, you know I'm getting married in like four days time right?,"
"Right…" Anderson asked, confused a bit.
"Well, I just wanted to tell you that I will be leaving the band after that, to you know...focus on my family and shit," William said looking at him as his face was expressionless, he was waiting for something or anything, anger, anything but he just kept his usual cold expression.
"Ohh, that's cool man,"
"I'm glad you told me," Anderson said even though his inside wasn't that calm, he just couldn't comprehend it, it was the same word 'family'.
"Really??!," Williams asked looking at Anderson who gave him an encouraging smile.
"Yeah man, congrats in advance by the way," Anderson said, patting his back.
"I think you should announce it to the fans you know," Anderson suggested.
"Really?," William said in little shock at how well Anderson was taking everything even though he didn't give him a heads up and now they had to look for a new drummer.
"Yeah."
"I mean, our fans need to know that you parted with the group on a good term, how sneaky these bloggers could be, they could tape and con up different stories about your leaving," Anderson added.
"Yeah, that makes sense," William agreed.
"Thanks for taking it so well," William said looking at him.
"What were you expecting??,"
"That I will tear you up and toss the bits of you out of the fucking plane four days to your wedding," Anderson said with a straight face.
"Uhm….Yeah, i mean no!!," William quickly corrected himself.
"Well it sounds like something you can do Anderson, don't blame him for thinking the same thing as all of us," Darla intervened as she sat on the opposite chair facing William and Anderson.
"Yeah, I have to agree with Darla on this one," Jeremy joined in.
"Say that again, I dare you,"
"You see what we are saying!!!" Jeremy and Darla exclaimed, laughing.
"landing in T-60," the hostess announced.
"New Jersey, here we come…"
