Chapter 37 - Chapter 36

Hisoki stepped out of the room, following Harley into the main room. The other four boys were in a small circle, whispering. However, when Kai looked at Hisoki and made eye contact, he quickly got the other boys to stop. "It's starting to get late, I think your parents are going to start worrying if you aren't there in time," Hisoki warned, leaning back on the island behind him. They all stared at him and Harley. Harley rolled his eyes, walking into the kitchen, Hisoki followed.

He was looking for something, though Hisoki didn't know what. He opened multiple cabinets, quickly searching before shutting them. "What are you looking for?" Hisoki asked curiously. Harley turned around frightened, had I not heard Hisoki walk in after him? He sighs, before turning back around and continuing to look. "Your dog," He said simply. Why would his dog be in a cabinet? "Oh, you mean Elysian? He's in my room."

Yoshi came running into the kitchen, locking eyes with Hisoki. "I have a question." He said quickly. Hisoki turned to him, watching Harley quietly walk out. "Go on."

"Ok, so you kinda have to stay with me on this one since you forgot. So you know Kiso? Well, she said that Baker didn't place a teddy bear in the right place, then she said that they didn't want Kiki coming out. I was wondering what she meant by that…"Yoshi blurted quickly, stepping into the kitchen fully. Hisoki looked at him, blinking for a moment. "Are you talking about triggers?" He asked. Yoshi shrugged. "I think so, or not."

Hisoki nodded, leaning his head down to think. "Triggers are like a prompt for a certain alter to come out. For Kiso and Kiki, it's physical things, like feminine clothing or cute things. However, for others, it's more emotional." Hisoki explained to the best of his ability. He felt like he was glossing over so much, but he felt that was a good way of describing triggers. Yoshi nodded his head. "Soo… hypothetically speaking If I were to just show you a teddy bear then Kiki will come." He asked hesitantly. He knew where this was going, it was Yoshi after all.

"Precisely, but I trust you to not use that without my permission," Hisoki says. Laughing came from outside the room, causing Hisoki to look through. Baker was doing a plank, with Elysian on his back. He was trying to get someone to help him, but everyone was too busy laughing.

"So how do you have a dog? He's so cute." Yoshi questioned, Hisoki's attention going back to the student. "It used to be easy, 'cause they were all suppressed, but it's a little harder now," Hisoki explained. Yoshi nodded, smiling at him. As Yoshi walked out of the kitchen, Hisoki walked back into the kitchen. "You guys really should go home though." Hisoki suggests, grabbing a coffee mug. It was almost five, and he feared that the kids might get in trouble for not going straight home from school.

"This is our home!" Kai said, finally picking up Elysian. Baker flopped onto the floor, out of breath. "You guys are the worst," Baker muttered, Kai, letting go of the dog. Elysian scrambled to his owner's side when Hisoki came out with hot chocolate. "It's going to be cold, look, the sun's already set." He says, gesturing to his window. It wasn't a clear sunset yet, but it was obvious the sun was close to that stage. "Fine, we'll go home. After you answer a question" Wafi bargained.

Hisoki sat down, placing the tray of hot chocolate in the middle. Elysian hops into the teacher's lap, laying his head on Hisoki's thigh. "I so wanna be that dog right about now." Wafi jokes. Baker was the first to grab a cup before everyone else joined in. "Wait, what was the question?" The blond asks, sipping on the hot chocolate.

Kai rolls his eyes, leaning down to whisper something in Baker's ear. The boy gasps, shaking his head. "No way! We can't ask him that!" Baker said, hitting Kai on the arm. Hisoki leans back slightly, raising an eyebrow. "Now you have me curious." He said with a smile. Yoshi hums, pointing to Kai. "You do it." He said simply. Kai looks hesitant at first, but sighs. "Give us a real answer, ok?" He said, Hisoki nodded.

"Wait! Harley, go." Wafi says, pushing Harley back. Harley looked stunned for a moment. "Wha- why me?" He asked, though he was already standing up. "Cause, your going to ruin it. Go!" He said, gesturing to the hall that led to the bedrooms. Harley mutters something under is breath, but walks away. Hisoki gave them an unimpressed look. "Did you really have to kick the boy out?" Hisoki questions, only to have all five of them nod their heads. Hisoki signs "Go on, Kai."

"Are you dating Harley?"

Hisoki stared at him for a moment, before laughing, Elysian getting scared by the sudden movement and jumping out of his lap. "Ok, ok. I'm sorry, I'll stop." Hisoki says happily, rubbing the tears out of his eyes. "Come on! Give us a real answer!! We saw you two kiss!" Yoshi whined, shaking Hisoki's arm."Did we kiss? I don't remember a kiss." Hisoki teased, dramatically tapping his chin.

"Oh… whoops," Wafi said, a small smile on his lips. Yoshi hit his arm. "Did you ever date a student? We are so close in age.." Kai asked, hugging Yoshi to hold him back. Hisoki hummed, nodding his head. "I did." He said commonly. Yoshi gasped, seemingly interested in the conversation again. "Really? How did it go?" He hastily asked. Hisoki thought for a second. "Why don't you ask him?

"He's sitting right there."

They didn't seem to understand yet. "Mago, why don't you tell us about your first love," Hisoki said, gaining the boy's attention. He was sitting on the couch, playing some mobile game on his phone. He looked at Hisoki, confused. "What? Do they-'' Hisoki no. Mago clicks his tongue, looking down at the others. "Wait, you two dated? Mago! You never told me?" Yoshi squeaked, pulling Mago off the couch to sit neck to shoulder with them. "Oh, look at the time, you guys should probably get going." Hisoki teased. He pulled Kai up with him, pushing him towards the door. "Nooo, you have to tell us! Don't just leave it like that!" Yoshi whined.

Hisoki shrugged, opening the door. "Come on children. I'll tell you tomorrow, promise." Wafi forces Baker and Yoshi to stand, pulling them towards the door. "We are barely younger than you, only by two years!" Baker yelled with fake anger. Mago stood up last, watching as Yoshi Baker, and Wafi exited. Mago rolled his eyes. 'You're an asshole for doing that to them." Mago pointed out, crossing his arms. Hisoki shrugged. "It's what I do, they'll be fine."

"Your not Hisoki, are you?"

He shakes his head.

"Who are you?"

"No one. How did you know it wasn't Hisoki?"

"You talk a little differently. And you walk differently too."

"Hm, guess I'll have to work on that"

"Whatever. Have a good night."

"You know I will."

"Don't do anything bad."

"Too late."

"Goodbye, alter."

"Bye, Mago."

The alter sighed, shutting the door. He could feel Hisoki wanting to come back, and the alter reluctantly allowed himself to. He stared off into space for a moment, right as the bedroom door opened.
