Baker was the first to run in, followed by Kai right after him. The blond held up his phone, jumping up and down happily. Hisoki looked up at Baker, smiling. Baker noticed the two others in the room, both on their phones. "What happened?" He asked, gesturing to the two. Why did they look so.. Dead. "They are questioning their life choices." Hisoki said calmly. Baker looked at the professor, nodding his head. He hoped that was just a joke.
Bake and Kai decided to go together, though splitting off when they got to the mall. Almost all of the stores in Ginza were in English. They had planned on meeting after about one hundred minutes, giving them twenty to get back here. Hisoki checks his watch. "2:40, twenty minutes remaining. Good job." He says, walking over and sitting on the desk besides Harley. Baker started walking to his seat. "Can one of you call Yoshi and Wafi? I wanna know where they are"
Baker nodded, grabbing his phone and typing in Yoshi's number. They should be together, since they took the same car. The phone rang for a moment, until Yoshi picked up. "We're on our way." He said hastily. Baker hummed. "YOu have twenty minutes left. Make it count." He warned Yoshi, groaning, sighing. "Ok, we're on the freeway. We should be there in a like…" There was a voice cutting Yoshi off, Baker assumed it was Wafi. "Ten minutes." The voice said. "Yeah, like ten minutes. Ok, gotta go. Bye!" Yoshi said, before handing up the phone.
Baker sighed, rolling his eyes. He lowered his phone, sliding it into his pocket. "So?" Mago said, looking up at him. He shrugged. "They said they should be here at ten. But I know the freeway is farther than that." Baker explained, sitting in his seat. Kai smiled. "They aren't going to make it." Kai said, Mago hummed. "Probably not. You wanna bet?" Harley finally looked up from his phone. "Fine, we can." He said to Mago. Baker looked up, rolling his eyes. "I have faith in my friends. They're going to get here."
Hisoki looked up from his computer, titing his head to the side. "You know gambling is illegal under the age of twenty-one, right?" Hisoki asked. Yoshi burst in through the door, out of breath. He flopped onto the cold tiled floor, his phone sliding out of his hand. Baker smiled, walking over and picking the other up. He turns to Mago. "I want my money in cash." He joked, caring about the other bridal style. "You two are getting married already." Kai huffed, looking out the door. "And….. it's three, Wafi didn't make it." Baker sat Yoshi down, fluffing his brown hair. "Haha!" Mago teased, sticking out his tongue.
"Technically, this wasn't a partner assignment, so none of you won. Besides-" Wafi runs through the door, out of breath. He looks over at Hisoki, who clicks his tongue. He checked his time. "Sorry, Wafi." He clicks his tongue, shaking his head. Wafi groans, face palming. "Come on, just give me this one." He begs, looking up at Hisoki. The professor thinks for a moment, before nodding. "Fine, I'll allow it. But only this time. But you're only going to get half a point instead of a full." Hisoki compromised.
Wafi sighed, bowing. "Thank you!" He said, before flopping into his seat. Hisoki rolled his eyes, bowing slightly before going to his room. "It's so weird to see both of you bow." Yoshi muttered, looking between Wafi and Hisoki. Mago shrugged. "He never liked to do that. I mean, he would always stop kids when he was my teacher." Mago explained.
Hisoki, "Well, though it is polite. I like my students to be on the same polite spectrum. I'm not better than you, and you're not better than me. So what's the reason to bow? Besides, we're friends." Hisoki said, clicking on a few things from his computer. "You guys can just send me the pictures. I'll grade them later." He said, shutting the computer. Hisoki scoffs, reading something over before looking at his class. Baker looks back. "You know that all of you guys have a five in this class right?" Hisoki asked.
Wait? A five? Like…. A five? How does Baker have a five? He did all his work, but he didn't think he got all forty points on the tests. "Wait….what?" If he had a five, then there was no reason to even get extra credit. He wouldn't have been able to get any more than a five, that's the limit. Yoshi stares at Hisoki. "Are you…. Serious?" Hisoki hums, starting to pack his things. Harley starts laughing. " This is why I stayed here." He said, smiling. He stood up, sliding his book bag on his shoulder. "I have basketball practice. Bye, assholes." Harley said, waving to the class.
"Can I come?" Yoshi asked, standing up from his seat. Baker stands up after him. "Uh, no." Harley said, before walking to the door. Hisoki stops him. "Technically it's an open practice. So they can come." Hisoki said, smiling. Harley groans, face palming. "FIne, fine. You can come. Jeez." He mutters, before walking out of the room. Yoshi smiles, grabbing his bag and pulling on Baker's arm. "Come on!" He said excitedly. Baker sighs, letting the other pull him. "Fine, fine."
