Xin would love to escape through the front building but there are also people below that would stop him from escaping. And he didn't planned to show the public what powers he had yet. If he want to be a superhero, he must portray a good character, instead of being caught climbing a building and escaping the consequences of his action.
"I told you already, I'm not a thief." Xin tried to talk things out with the men, but instead of calming down, they keep on getting triggered by the accusing words of the manager towards Xin.
The men moved closer to Xin as they bind his hands with ropes. The manager had an expression of, 'Yeah, yeah, Serves him right.'
But he was still bothered on how the other thieves had ran away despite their quick action on catching them. That was when a young girl, climbed up the building to meet them. The manager upon seeing the lady was expecting her to bring some CCTV footage of the other thieves that were with Xin, but he saw her shouting what he didn't expect to have come out from her mouth.
"Stop! He's not a thief! There are no thieves!" Roselle shouted as she went towards the men that binded Xin. They loosened the rope but they didn't allow him to leave yet, not when they didn't have a candid reason to do so.
Roselle showed the CCTV footage that she captured to one of the men who also passed it to the other men before finally showing it to the manager.
The men saw the footage of the camera and their grip on Xin loosened.
They gave Xin a sincere bow and apologized for assaulting him.
' What the hell is happening.' Xin thought, he was wondering what was in the photo that changed the attitudes of the men. The men left, all thanks to the young lady, Roselle. To show his gratitude, Xin mouthed the words thank you to her but the lady glared and gave him a scornful look before going down the ladder.
"What? What's wrong with her?" Xin exclaimed. He dislike the glare the girl gave to him.
As he exited the top of the building, still wondering what the lady showed to the men, he saw Johnny waiting on a bike.
"Hey buddy!" Johnny called out for Xin.
They exchanged pleasantries and Xin couldn't help but wonder where Johnny got the bike from.
"Is this bike yours?" Xin asked.
"Yeah, it is my bike. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I got it as a gift from my uncle yesterday night when you were chasing after the thieves." Johnny explained.
"Your uncle's house is located in this area?" Xin asked and Johnny nodded positively. "I thought you said you don't have any uncle?"
"Let's forget about the past, now we're the same. I have an uncle and he's super nice. What were you doing at the top of the building. I spotted you as I was riding by, so I decided to pick you up." Johnny asked.
"I got accused somehow of being a thief but a lady saved me." Xin answered and Johnny started laughing.
"A lady saved you?.. Hop on the bike let's go." Johnny said. "What about those superspeed of yours. Aren't they usable to escape?"
"How did you know about that?" Xin asked.
"About what? Being a superhero, having special powers?? I bet you don't know the type of superhero you are." Johnny asked and xin nodded.
"Don't worry, my uncle knows everything about superheroes, he will know what type you are." Johnny assured.
"Really?... I can't wait to see him." Xin was so excited. His dream to be a superhero is now coming to pass.
"But first, let's go to class." Johnny said as he drove the bike into the school compound, parking at the parking lot.
They are really late for the first class period and it happened to be a biology class.
They got into their seats and brought out their biology note and textbook. The teacher was an old woman probably of the age seventy years.
The biology teacher who kept mute as Xin and Johnny entered, carried on with her explaination.
"As I was saying, a soldier fly have different colours." Mrs Cadby said.
"What's the topic?" Xin asked the boy that was behind him.
"Xin, Can you mention them for me?" Mrs Cadby called for Xin.
"Pardon me?" Xin didn't hear the question.
"What are the colours of the soldier fly?" Mrs Cadby asked again. But Xin didn't know the answer, not until the boy behind him showed him the answer to the question.
"Blue and black Soldier flies." Xin answered.
"Excellent. There are blue and black types of soldier fly, and they also have how many legs, Mr Xin?" Mrs Cadby asked.
"Err, four." Xin Answered and the whole class burst into laughter.
"Wrong Mr Xin, wrong. A soldier fly has six legs, you got me, six legs." she corrected, but Xin was getting annoyed as the teacher kept on calling his name. "Now Mr Xin, we know that a soldier fly has a pair of wing. My question is, where are the wings located in its body?" Mrs Cadby asked.
Xin stared at Mrs Cadby before answering and Mrs Cadby also glared back at him. He was frustrated by the teacher.
"Mr Xin, where are the wings of a soldier fly located?"
"I don't know. Probably its mouth." Xin answered.
"Xin, you don't joke when I'm teaching. The wings of a soldier fly are held over the back when at rest. So, next time, Mr Xin, next time I ask you this question, don't come telling me about the date you had with your girlfriend." Mrs Cadby said and the whole class kept on laughing.
Mrs Cadby turned to look at those that are laughing. "Same thing applies to you all." Mrs Cadby said and they all kept mute, but there are some that are giggling within themselves, trying to control their laughs. While Xin had a deep frown on his face, Johnny went closer to cheer him up.
"Hey buddy calm down. I know it's painful." Johnny said to him and he also laughed.
Mrs Cadby ended the class but before she left, she told Johnny and Xin to see her immediately at her office.
"What did she want again?" Xin grinned.
