Superpowers are known to come as a natural talent. And only a few people could have such power. That was why the heroic college was divided into two segments; The ones with superpowers and those with none.
But, some group of superheroes thought of how they could help those with no superpowers and they came up with something which they agreed to teach every non-superhero of the heroic college after passing some stage. It is called ability.
Some superheroes gain their powers through gifted talents - talent by birth, a gene activator - the person whose powers are to activate the genes of a willing gene, thereby turning them into superhumans. But this kind of thing works only on people with a willing gene.
Another factor is called the cross gifted superheroes, they gain their powers through special items like books, pills, pencils, pens, and many others. The powers are hidden inside these items by people who decided to give their powers to their weak friend, child, grandchild, wife, or stranger who just came across it in a room or library. Another type are those who got bitten by a power carrier race, like snakes, insects, bees, flies, or even geckos.
Another factor are the power gene bloodline superheroes, whose ancestors selects a successor that will possess their own superpowers before they pass away. And Johnny's family happened to be from this group. It thus can be said that Johnny got his powers from one of his ancestors, who chose him, many, many years ago.
When Uncle wen knew that Johnny had gotten his powers from the wish of one of their ancestors and it happened to be a dragon power, he had to warn Johnny about the problems it might cause, if the other superheroes finds out that he have a partial replica of what the Gayas have.
Although he is an human, having the powers of a dragon, there might be a time when the Gayas would start a war but the bond of being a dragon like them cannot be broken. Uncle wen advised him to be cautious of how he use his powers, to not cause suspicion among the ranked superheroes. The ranked superheroes are the leaders of all superheroes, including the so called 'Strange Superheroes.'
They have existed before the Gayas attacked the earth and the strange superheroes were still students when they fought with the Gayas. In conclusion, we could say that the whole tenure of Superheroes had existed in the year, 'God know when.'
"What if they ask what your powers are, what will you say?" Xin asked, listening to his explanation. They had paused their fights to talk a bit, since the game is in a training mode.
"That's it. Once we decide to reveal ourselves as superheroes, I thought of saying that a lizard bit me and since then, I've felt a change in my body system." Johnny answered.
"I hope that works out well." Xin said, still unsure of Johnny's plan. But when he thought of all what Johnny had told him, he really felt bad for him. 'Is that why you don't want to tell your father about the powers you have?' Xin thought.
"Let's continue, it's getting late already." Johnny said and they resumed the game. This time, Xin decided to go for attacks instead of defending, but not without the weapon former skill.
He pictured the type of sword he want to use and immediately, it appeared in his hands. It can't be easily noticed by anyone since the swords of the game appears under the command of the player.
Xin swung his system given shortsword, in the air and he could hear the slicing sound of the sword. He would have formed a different sword, but because Johnny had seen the type of sword he chose before the game, he decided to pick a similar sword to the one he had chosen for the game.
The shortsword was good but Xin got informed by the system that the durability of the sword is a bit low.
And as expected, Johnny won the game and they soon exited the capsule and each went home. But, before they left, Uncle wen called for Xin and told him to be careful with his powers, he told him to be mindful of who he trusts.
"Your case is the same as Johnny's case. Try and keep your powers secret." Uncle wen said and they left for home.
A week after, Xin and Johnny will be taking the heroic college exam and Xin can't wait for the day to come. Although he wasn't able to play the VR game, still, he has been practicing his weapon former skill everyday after school.
