Everything was burning. A blazing fire rose from the pits of her stomach, to envelop each and every inch of her skin, making her insides shudder as his fingertips brushed against her shoulders. Eve gasped, her eyes widening as a shot of electricity zapped through her nerves.
His eyes sparkled pure gold as his eyes widened for a second, meeting her own shocked expression in awe. She watched as they darkened ever so slightly the moment he pulled her to him, his hands wrapping around her bare waist hungrily.
Eve closed her eyes, not wanting to look up at his face. This was embarrassing. More than she cared to admit. For the first time, she was standing in front of a man naked, baring every inch of her skin to the sight and touch of someone she hated with everything in her. Yet why? Why was her body reacting this way?
