An entire week has already gone by since I've called my faithful companion, Yuuki. Unfortunately the lizard-like creatures had yet to be demolished. It was a Saturday evening when the Headmaster gave word that I'm to call the Society above all else, to help with our current situation. It's about high time that I did just that. I tuned in to their frequency and got hold of their captain commander. I told him all about what's happening at school and how they always seem to regenerate; no matter the situation. I told him how we need help defeating them and how the death count keeps climbing. He saw reason and gave me permission to choose up to five soul reapers to help us in our time of need. I chose a few of my closest friends: Kira Ichigaya, Sinro Hisara, Haro Abariki, Rei Kusagi and Lee Hitsumaru. The captain informed me that Lee's currently out on a job, but that he'll send him down to earth the moment he returns. I thanked him whole heartedly. Due to space, they had to share along with my other friends. Therefore the academy moved them into a bigger suite. I made arrangements for five temporary bodies and our family friend, Jus Hirohara, made a special delivery. They even hid Lee's body for the time being.
The girls in my dormitory were floated with hatred and dislike. Each passing hour they abhor me even more. Plainly jealous by the mere fact that I have so many gorgeous male cronies. Yes, they even seem to find Sinro breathtakingly hot, eventhough his the youngster in the group.
It's Thursday. I look over my shoulder at the blinking alarm clock. Term will end tomorrow for winters break. Last night my parents had unexpectedly shown up! Along with my younger sister. She is their biological daughter. It's pass nine thirty, already. I dragged myself out of bed. Violette were busy making herself something to eat. After a quick shower I helped myself to a piece of toast. By ten o'clock, we went for a walk around campus. Jess joined us on our stroll. Jessica Nevada had just started high school. She's very much like a life sized doll, my personal assumption. Violette told me, as we walked, about the little fact that the girls are all out to kill me, because apparently no girl is supposed to have so many handsome friends. "Well, that's precisely what they are... Friends! I have my eyes on somebody else completely, because you-know-who is history. But I guess that he's not coming." My mood was falling into oblivion. I not even sure I know what I want. Is Toki really something of the past? What's this sudden tension that I'm having towards Yuuki? "What about Toki?" My kid sister asked much to my surprise. Violette saved me from answering the question by asking another instead. "So what's Mr. Mysterious' name?" I looked towards the blue cloudless sky, but before I could answer her question a group of chanting ladies passed us. I couldn't help but overhear their conversation.
Girl 1: Have you heard? Apparently there's a new addition to the Hotness-club.
Girl 2: Yes, Rose told me about him last night- now what's his name again?
Girl 3: If I'm not mistaken it, it's Lee...
I listened to the babbling crew. By the mentioning of his name, I could tell that Violette had caught up. I made my way away from the nagging girls, Violette and Jess short on my tail. Once out of hearing distance I sat down on a wooden bench. "So Lee, huh?" She asked rhetorically as she joined my side. I didn't say anything. I just nodded my head. "What about Toki? You've given up on him, haven't you?" I don't know how I'm to answer her question. Ignoring her is my best option, but it doesn't feel right. She's just a concern teen. She had always liked Toki. Secretly spilling the beans. I know how she wished for us to one day tie the knot. How she always wanted to babysit our off springs, while we safe the world from evil. My cheeks feel so warm. "What are you thinking about? It must be an intriguing hot vision. I say, you're flustered!" Violette informed me. Maybe I should just forget about Lee. Thinking about another man won't be fair to him. As long as I don't get over Toki, I'll never be happy again.
All of a sudden the alarm chimes a warning. Telling everybody to get behind closed doors. I asked my friend to take my sister to a secure location and made my way to the given destination. When I arrived, the creatures had vanished, no surprise there. I'm to damn late!
When I set my eyes on Lee's figure, it felt like some unknown entity had punched the air right out of me. Then Toki joined his side. It's like glass shattered before my eyes. Apparently neither my heart, soul nor mind can come to a solid agreement. So can't the woman in me choose? I'm currently standing at a crossroads- which way? Is there really a choice to make?
