Season 2: Episode Eight.
Chapter Forty Five: Do Or Die.
Clementine woke up to the sound of people screaming. She jolted out of bed, immediately realizing that something was wrong. She looked out of the window and saw a group of attackers running around, setting the buildings on fire and letting the walkers in.
Clementine: How the fuck did this happen.
Clementine looked on in horror as the group of armed men stormed into Wellington, overpowering the few guards who were left. The men were shouting and brandishing their weapons as they went from house to house, rounding up the children of the community.
Clementine's first instinct was to run and hide, but she knew that it was too late for that. The men had already seen her, and if she tried to run away, they would surely catch her.Clementine had to act fast if she was going to rescue AJ.
She quickly grabbed her knife, tucking it into her boot, and slipped out of the house she was hiding in. As she made her way towards the center of the community, she heard the sounds of screaming and crying from all around her. It was a terrible sound – one that she would never forget.
As she approached the center of Wellington, she saw a group of men standing over the children, forcing them to march towards the gate. The men had no regard for their safety, shoving them along as they screamed for help.
Clementine knew that she had to act fast if she was going to rescue AJ. She crept up behind one of the men, lunging forward with her knife and striking him in the back. He fell to the ground, crying out in pain as she quickly grabbed his gun.
The other men turned around, seeing Clementine with the gun in her hand. They raised their weapons, preparing to attack her, but Clementine was too fast. She opened fire, taking out two of them before they even had a chance to react.
The other men were now in a state of panic, unsure of what to do next. Clementine used this to her advantage, taking them out one by one as she made her way towards the gate.
As she crossed through the gate, she saw AJ being dragged away by one of the men. She sprinted towards them, tackling the man to the ground before he could react. She grabbed AJ, holding him close as she fought off the remaining attackers.
But then someone suddenly appares behind clementine and knocked her out, The group of men escape with AJ and a few more children.
ONE MONTH LATER.
For a month, Clementine had been on the search for AJ since he was taken away from her. She had traveled miles, tracked down potential leads, and questioned everyone she came into contact with. But for the longest time, she had nothing. Until finally, she caught a break.
She remembered a lead she received from a former friend she had fight along with during her travels. He mentioned a location where a group of bandits had been recently spotted. Clementine thought this might be a promising lead. She decided it was time to follow it.
The location was a few miles outside the city and was mostly covered with forest. She had been walking for a while when someone suddenly crept up behind her. Before Clementine could react, the person knocked her out.
By time she had woken up, hours had passed, and to her surprise she find herself tied to a tree. She quickly scanned her surroundings and saw that she was in a small campsite. She struggled against her restraints, but they were too tight.
Suddenly, a group of bandits emerged from the forest. Their leader, a tall man with a scar across his cheek, walked up to Clementine. "Well well, look what we have here. Little Clementine, all tied up and helpless," he sneered.
Clementine glared up at him, but kept quiet. He continued, "You've been looking for someone, haven't you? Well, we have what you're looking for. But it's going to cost you."
"What do you want?" Clementine asked, knowing it was unlikely she would have it.
The bandit leader stared at her with a cruel smile. "We want everything you have. Your weapons, your supplies, and your vehicle."
Clementine knew she had no choice. She was outnumbered and outgunned. The bandits started to untie her, but before she could move, a car pulled up, and one of the bandits grabbed AJ out of the car's backseat.
"Clem!" AJ yelled as he was pulled away from her.
Clementine was stunned, and fear overwhelmed her. She knew she had to get him back somehow.
She spent the next few weeks tracking down the bandits, trying to find out where they were headed and how they might be keeping AJ hostage. Finally, through a combination of her own resourcefulness and a bit of luck, she discovered where they were hiding.
Clementine made her way to their location and quickly got to work. She surveyed the area, taking mental notes of all the bandits and their weapons. She knew that she had to be careful and that one wrong move could get her captured or worse.
But Clementine was determined to get AJ back. She had come too far and sacrificed too much to let him go.
As she quietly approached the bandits' hideout, she knew that this was the moment of truth. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was about to happen, and moved forward.
Clementine: This is do or die.
