Chapter Forty two: Battle at the gas plant.

Aneka was terrified when she saw Lee collapse onto the ground. She sprinted over to him and knelt down beside him, frantically checking his pulse. His heartbeat was slow and weak, and she knew she needed to act fast.

Quickly assessing the situation, Aneka suspected Lee was suffering from severe dehydration and exhaustion. She grabbed her water bottle and poured some over his face, trying to rouse him. When he didn't respond, she tilted his head back and forced a few drops of water into his mouth and down his throat.

Lee's eyes fluttered open briefly, but then he went limp again. Aneka knew she needed to elevate his legs to get blood pumping back to his heart. She found a nearby log and propped Lee's legs up, making sure they were above his heart.

Next, she checked his breathing and noticed that it was shallow and irregular. She took a deep breath and began administering CPR, pressing down on his chest in a rhythmic motion while breathing into his mouth. After a few rounds of this, Lee started coughing and gasping for air.

Aneka: Are you alright.

Lee: Never been better.

Aneka: What happened.

Dale: He probably over used his essence.

Aneka: You should be careful next time. If you die then our dreams are ruined.

Joe and the others rushes over to Lee.

Lee: I'm great.

Joe: Don't push yourself too hard.

Klaus: If you had died what would I tell Alice and your daughter.

Lee stands back up and tell Klaus to get one of the guys to bring the truck over to where they are.

Klaus walks over to the others survivors and tell them that they'll be heading out.

A few long hours later they finally reached half of their journey. Lee told them to stop and take a break, Lee and Rebekah search the surrounding area to see if they were any survivors or food that they could take along their journey.

Rebekah search an abandon hospital and find some medical supplies.

A hour later Lee and Rebekah returned back to the truck.

Rebekah: Aneka I found some medical supplies.

Aneka: Thanks Rebekah.

After hours of driving, Lee and the others finally arrived at the factory. They could see it in the distance, but their excitement was short-lived when they saw that it was surrounded by a thousand walkers and a few evolve walkers as well.

Aneka heart sank as she realized the severity of the situation. They couldn't possibly fight their way through so many walkers, especially with Lee still recovering and weak. Klaus quickly assessed the area, looking for any other possible routes to take.

Out of desperation, Klaus suggested they wait until nightfall to make their move. Lee hesitated, but ultimately agreed that they didn't have any other options.

They found a spot to hide and settled in, waiting for nightfall. Dale and Joe kept watch while Lee and the others tries to get some rest, knowing that they had a long and dangerous journey ahead of them.

As the sun began to set, the walkers became restless and agitated. They started to move in groups, their moans growing louder and more frequent. Ari could feel her heart racing in her chest as the darkness slowly enveloped them.

Lee: Rebekah and I will go ahead. You guys wait here for put signal.

Klaus: Okay.

Anek: Be careful...you haven't fully recovered.

Lee: I will. Until then everyone get ready to fight.

Everyone: Yes sir.

Finally, the time had come. Rebekah and Lee slowly made their way through the shadows, staying low and silent as they moved closer to the entrance of the gas plant.

They could hear the sounds of the walkers growing louder and more frenzied, but Rebekah kept her focus. She knew that they had to move swiftly and with purpose to make it through.

As they got closer to the entrance, they saw a pack of evolve walkers in their path. Rebekah realized they had no choice but to face them.

They moved in, with Rebekah leading the way. She was quick and agile, taking out the walkers one by one with her twin blades. Lee followed behind, providing backup with his fist. Together, they were a force to be reckoned with.

After what felt like an eternity, they finally made it through the evolve walkers. But their relief was short-lived; they still had a horde of regular walkers to contend with.

Lee took a deep breath and steeled himself for what was to come. He looked over at Rebekah, determination written all over his face. They were in this together, and they weren't going to stop until they had succeeded.

Lee: Rebekah are you ready to fight for your life.

Rebekah: I've always been ready.

Lee signal Klaus and the rest of the group to take action. They knew that they had to act fast if they wanted to survive. The group started to spread out, forming a defensive perimeter around the gas plant.

Lee and Rebekah had already Infiltrate the walkers and were near the entrance of the factory.

ready to face the walkers head-on Lee and Rebekah attacks the walkers together.p

The walkers soon closed in, initiating a full-blown attack. Lee and Rebekah charged towards the approaching zombies, hacking and slashing their way through the horde. They moved with agility and precision, striking with deadly accuracy and leaving piles of bodies in their wake.

Klaus and his group held their own ground, firing their weapons and taking out any walkers that managed to slip through the front lines. They were determined to survive, fighting for every inch of ground.

Despite their valiant efforts, the walkers kept coming, and the evolved ones proved to be even more resistant to their attacks. Lee and Rebekah had to circle around to intercept the evolved walkers, which were more dangerous than the others. They fought hard, their weapons striking with intense force, determined to protect their group and keep them alive.

For hours they battled, but finally, the walkers began to thin out. Exhausted and wounded, the group emerged victorious. They had secured the gas plant, but the cost of victory was high. Some of their group members had been killed, and many others were injured.

Still, the group felt a sense of relief that they could finally rest. They had achieved their objective, and the gas plant was now theirs.

Suddenly A new walker appeared and killed drake.

The walker let out a roar so powerful it knocked out a few people.
