In the deep part of the wastelands, blood flowed ceaseless till it began forming a small river of its own, like it's name this unclaimed land that was the boundary between the gates of the underworld has become a wasteland for the bodies of different beings from different races
The fallen bodies had formed a mountain but still the onslaught still continued, till the last warriors from the darkside fell to the ground the armies of the alliance formed by witches, werewolves, fairies and all other kind of supernaturals that haven't given into their evil side, matched on swinging the claws and swords at their opponents trying to send the accurseds back to the underworld.
Finally it was over, the battle at the gates of the underworld was over, the long spent decade of endless fighting and numerous death was not in vain as they had succeeded in killing the emissaries of the underworld and sealing the Gate once more. If nothing happens, the human world and supernatural realm should be in a state of harmony for a long period of time.
"It's really over?" asked a blonde-haired youth, his face was covered in blood which made it hard to see his complexion.
"we were told sealing the gate would bring an end to the war, so yeah it should be over" another answered, his appearance also in no better situation than the former.
"Olcan now that it's over what do we do?" when the question was asked the two turned to a young man standing not to far from them.
The young man had a dazzling silver hair and as he turned his set of emerald eyes gave off an intimidating light. if not for the little splash of blood on certain areas of his tone, no one would believe he was part of the bloodbath that just ended, even still it was hard to believe the had lead the whole massacre seeing how he wasn't in a disheveled state.
his lips parted and he said "we'll wait a few more day, just to be sure"
his voice rang out again "while we wait, send a message back home and inform them of our success. I'm sure they to would have succeeded in completing the purge"
"Yes!" the two disheveled boys chorused in a firm voice.
The youth called Olcan didn't say anything else and just returned to staring into the blank air with a concentrated look and furrowed.
Although the war was over Olcan didn't feel any less grim than he felt Ten years ago. The siege had just began then, the darkside warriors stormed the realm unannounced with their plans to overthrow all twelve realms. with no other option, all twelve realms united to fight off these accursed beings.
They divided their warriors into two, with the best going to the wastelands to stop the darkside warriors procession and seal the gates to thee underworld, while the rest stayed at the realms to kill of the remaining evil workers and purge the realm of everybody that assisted them in their greed for power.
In rage, Olcan a mere 10 year old had not only joined the war but had also headed it, ten years has past and he had achieved his mission, killed off thousands of demons and sealed the gate.
He should be happy right? but why does he feel empty like a bottomless pit, the rage was still there, though suppressed but still there shrouding him in gloom and perhaps had also given birth to the numbness engulfing his nerves, threatening to turn him to an unfeeling monster

Sunflare city.
The dark night sky was gorgeously lit by the illuminous light emitted from the big Full moon sitting in the sky totally oblivious of the enchantment it's light casts on the city.
in a brightly lit street, the moonlight couldn't block off not reduce the air of gloom or desertedness that lingered in the air and for this reason a few people could be seen hurrying off from time to time except for a young lady standing motionless in a spot and staring at the moon. If it wasn't for the visible Cold air sipping out of her mouth, one would definitely mistake her be a statue.
Elara was completely hypnotized by the moon as she stood still staring at it intently, the rays of these moonlight were like hands caressing her skin and keeping her attention on the big white gorgeous moon. She had been standing at that same spot for almost one hour and didn't show any signs of leaving, she might have even spent more hours just staring if not for the sudden sounds that echoed behind her.
It sounded like footsteps of a bunch of people, the sounds startled her and also managed to draw her attention away from the moon.
