Maura had just realized that since her mother had dragged Gio away, she and Erlang were alone in this minimalist house. They do not move in any other sense.
Maura was still sitting quietly on the sofa, while Erlang took the initiative to clean up the spilled peanuts under the table.
"I didn't know that Gio was great at playing chess. So far, only Bintang has been able to compete with me in that game, "cried Erlang.
"He learned from my father that at least the habit of having breakfast every weekend is also beneficial."
Erlang chuckled softly. If Maura hadn't messed with him, maybe he really would have admitted defeat tomorrow in front of everyone.
"Remind me not to deal with Gio anymore," whispered Erlang.
The man placed the jar of peanuts on the table, then sat down next to Maura.
