Twenty-five long years had passed. Fallon had grown up and married a woman called Anna. Together, they had a son that they named Amias who was now fifteen years old. Fallon and Anna still lived in Wakemark and have not heard from Icas or Benjamin in a long time.
Amias was sitting at the kitchen table with his parents as he worked on making his own make-shift sword so that he could show it to Kalzin. "Look mom," Amias said. "I made my own…"
A knock at the door suddenly interrupted Amias. Fallon stood up and walked over and answered the door. A smile spread across his lips when he saw Icas standing outside with Elina next to him and a five-year-old in front of them. Icas had grown up so much and Fallon could only guess Benjamin looked similar.
"Icas! Elina! What brings you here after all of this time?"
Icas smiled. "I thought I should visit you because I have important news and I wanted you to meet someone," he said as he lifted the young boy into his arms. "This is little William. He's our son."
"Well, congratulations!" Fallon said as he opened the door. Icas and Elina entered. Anna and Amias walked over to greet their guests.
"I also have great news," Icas said. "The Knights of Evermore are planning a diplomatic trip to Nitra in a week and I'm going. I'll finally get a chance to find my parents' murderer," he added quietly.
Fallon nodded. "Well good luck, old friend. I hope you succeed."
Icas smiled a grateful smile. "Thank you, Fallon." Little did Fallon know when his friend would return, he would return a completely different and changed man.
