Odi sat very still, stunned. He could not believe that Icas had just killed that man. He knew that joining the Nites was a terrible idea. Odi stood up and walked out of Cardell Castle. He saw that the stallion still had a limp from when he wouldn't listen to the stablehands the other day. "I have to take you with me," Odi told the horse. "I will not leave you here for them to kill you." Odi opened the stall door and led the horse out. "Let's get out of here."
