And just like that we were fully mated and bonded for life. Pleasure filled me and I realized my heart was swelling with pride at how lucky I had gotten with my mate. I carried her back to our bed and laid down holding her close. I pulled her in closer if it was even possible and whispered into her ear "I love you my Luna".
She smiled and I closed my eyes feeling content as I heard, "I love you too my one and only Alpha". My wolf glowed at such high praise from the one he loved, and I let out a low growl of approval for her words as I drifted off into sleep.
I woke up the next morning and felt my mate pressed against my chest and the events of the last couple of days come flooding back and I smile thinking about being fully mated to the beautiful Cici laying in my arms. She was still asleep, so I didn't move, I mind linked the pack chef and requested pancakes and bacon be made for his Alpha and Luna for when she woke up. He had just finished the pack house breakfast so said he would head over now. 'That means it's past 9am' I think to myself.
That's the longest sleep I've had since I became Alpha to my pack, and the most comfortable if I'm being honest with myself. I look back down at my mate and breath in her intoxicating smell. "Goddess this woman is going to drive me crazy in her heat time." She stirred and I regretted my little outburst, her eyelids flickered open, and I saw them... my mates beautiful emerald green eyes. She looked up at me and gave me the biggest smile I could have hoped for, relief washed over me that the mating hadn't been a 'lost in the moment' thing and she looked content and happy like I was.
"Good morning beautiful" I purr in her ear in my deep morning voice. She shivers in my arms, but I could tell it wasn't from the cold, it was the effect I had on her and seeing it affect her like that had me excited all over again!
"Morning handsome" she seductively whispered into my ear and now was my turn to shiver as her breathe stoked my cheek. Goddess did I wish I could take her all over again, but I knew she would be sore from her first-time last night and so I rolled her over, kissed her nose and told her breakfast was being make downstairs. Her eyes lit up and she jumped up and down on the bed, kissed me on the lips and shouted, "then why the hell are we still up here?" And clambered off the bed.
I grabbed her quickly taking in a deep breath of her scent and told her she had to change. She looked down at her naked body and blushed... goddess she was so beautiful! She ran into my closet and squealed... I walked over and rested my body against the door frame and watched her going through the side of the closet I had set up for her with all sorts of clothes and shoes in her size. She looked over at me in amazement, "when did you manage this? And how did you know my sizes?".
I laughed and tapped my nose "oh I have my ways, but they're secrets" I say, "I can't reveal them all just yet"! I wink at her, she smiles and giggles, pink rising to her cheeks again.
She looks around and picks some black skinny jeans, goddess how was I supposed to focus with a body like that next to me?! She pulls on a tank top and does a twirl for me, and I growl low in approval, then her scent hits me again and I remember her heat. This time I growl in protectiveness I rush to my side of the closet and pull my favorite hoodie off its hanger and threw it to her. My favorite hoodie smelt the most of me and even though we were fully mated now it couldn't hurt for her to smell of me too.
She smiles up at me, "how did you know I was going to take a hoodie?" She asked while pulling it over her head.
"Isn't that what all women do when they're head over heels for somebody?" I joke with her, loving that hoodie even more now her body was in it.
She growled a warning, "Don't get too cocky mister I know this is your extra little claim on me!" She cocked an eyebrow in my direction as I pull on my own black jeans and a hoodie. "Luckily for you I only want you and I happen to love huge jumpers and your scent." She giggled and I swear it sounds like magic.
I move over to her and lift her in my arms to kiss her, she moans, and I smile into the kiss. "I love you Luna".
"I love you Alpha" she purred back to me. I swear I was about to give in and take her right there in the closet but her head snapped up and she smelt the air..... "BACON" she screamed as she wriggled out of my arms and ran through our room and down the stairs. I ran after my mate enjoying the steady flow of our mixed scents hitting my nose as I trailed behind her.
We ate and my cheeks started to hurt from my constant smile, I realized just how little I smiled before she arrived. I looked her over and frowned. "What's wrong Ash?" She quizzed me looking worried.
"Nothing my Luna, I just realized we still have to do something about your dad" I say with my eyes down now, he might be an ass in my eyes but he's still my mates father. 'He beat her remember' my wolf jumps to the front of my mind. My head shoots up, "are all the scars on your body really from him?" I heard the shock and anger dripping from my voice.
"Yes", she looked down this time and I put my finger under her chin and brought her eyes back up to mine. "He used silver to start off with so the scars would stay but after my wolf left for a while, he could cut me and whip me and the scars would stay" she said with tears forming in her eyes.
My wolf growled, I knew my eyes were changing now as anger boiled my blood, "I'll make him pay I promise you!" I state, meaning it to be just between my wolf and I but glad she heard me when she wiped her eyes and said,
"Oh darling if anyone's going to rip his head off it'll be me", and there she was again, my sweet but fierce mate. I chuckled and took her hand as we walked to our office in the pack house to plan.
