Goddess, it felt good to say those words, 'killing my father', I wondered to myself about whether I should worry that the idea of killing my own flesh and blood didn't upset me. But after what he did, I'm sure that only makes me human... I laugh at myself... not human, a wolf. I reach out and take Ash's hand in mine, we were walking back to our house, and he seemed deep in thought. "Are you okay my Alpha King" I say it in a sensual voice knowing it would cheer him up.
He chuckled and stopped walking, he looks me dead in the eyes and lifts me into his arms with a sigh. "I am as long as I have you, my Luna Queen" he whispers into my ear as I wrap my legs around him. I growl in approval and kiss his cheek.
"Good," I pull back to look into his eyes as he continues the walk back to ours with me in his arms, "as long as you actually are ok, if something is bothering you maybe I can help." I add, just to let him know I can be serious if he really is worried.
"I know my Luna, I know, I'm just mourning still, I haven't fully connected you to the pack yet but when I do, you'll understand the pain as the Alpha and Luna when we lose someone." I nod in silent understanding; I'd seen it when Pack members died in my mother and fathers pack before everything went so bad. I wrap my hands around the back of his neck and kiss him with all the feeling and love that I could, just to let him know I understood and I was there for him. He kissed me back gently and said against my lips, "oh goddess you really have made me the luckiest wolf alive." He deepens the kiss as he carries me through our front door and marches me straight to the bedroom.
I giggle in his arms as he starts to drop us onto the bed, last minute I kick out my leg against the wall and flip us midair so when we landed on the bed I was on top. He smirked up at me and growls deep in his chest, 'I love it when I know he's genuinely happy' I think as I smile to myself. The rest of the night was spent in each other's arms sweaty and filled with joy as we mated again and again.
I woke up earlier then Ash and slipped out of his arms quietly, I went to the kitchen and started making food. I cooked us a huge English breakfast and made us both coffees, I was walking back upstairs with it when I heard him wake. "Cici?" I couldn't help but giggle as I stood in the doorway and watched his eyes adjust. He smiled at me then his face turned into a frown. "What are you doing?" He growled.
"I made us breakfast in bed, what else would I be doing?" I look at him confused as I walk forward to place the tray filled with food onto the end of our bed.
"Cici that is sweet, and I love you for it but that is not what I'm talking about", he huffed, "didn't you realize you're fully naked and in heat? What would have happened if someone walked in on you?" He started to shake as I realized my mistake.
"Oh, goddess I didn't notice," I say, suddenly self-conscious of the fact I'm fully nude, I hop onto the bed and cover myself with the sheet. "I'm sorry, I don't know what it is about you, but you make me so comfortable I forget if I'm decent or not." I say it quietly, but I knew he heard me. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his body.
"I'm sorry my Luna Queen" he whispers into my hair "I just need to know I'm the only one who sees you in all of your naked glory" he chuckled, "thank you for the breakfast!" I smile and turn around to face him and give him a sweet kiss.
"I love you my Alpha King, now let's eat before all my hard work goes to waste." I say and sit up, he sits up too and moves so he is positioned behind we with me in between his legs. He pulls the tray closer and starts to feed me and then himself, so I didn't even have to lift a finger, I just laid back against his bare chest enjoying his warmth and the comfort of the fireworks that happened every time we were touching. After the food I fell asleep like this with him stroking my hair.
I woke up a couple of hours later and he wasn't here anymore. I sighed; sadness entered my heart at the lack of his presence. I could smell he had left about an hour ago. "Maya?" I ask out loud even though I could just think it and she would answer.
'Yes child?' She thought back.
"Are we strong enough to defeat my father alone?".
She takes a minute 'we are yes but it's always safer to have mate around'.
I sigh "I know Maya, but I was thinking if I could get to the packs land, and take down my father, then I would be their Alpha by birth right as his first born. This way they wouldn't have to all die for my father's selfish wants."
I heard her growl an agreement, 'ok, I agree if we can save our old packs lives then it would be good, but mate will be mad at us'. I nod knowing she was right but also hoping he would see what I was trying to do for my old pack and my new one.
I hop out of bed and get into the shower, "we won't go today Maya, we will leave early Friday while he sleeps, so don't tell Victor the plan because that's two days away." I could feel her sadness at keeping it from her mate of centuries, but she nods an agreement in my mind. I smell vanilla and buttercream surround me and I knew my mate was home, I was about to get out of the shower, but I decided to stay in it hoping he would join me.
