I walked back into the house with everything set up for tonight and feeling proud I'd managed it all without my mate knowing. I heard the shower and grinned running up the stairs as I strip down, I walk into the shower room and wrap my arms around her from behind and take in her sweet scent with a groan. She spun around and jumped into my arms with a lust filled growl. So I returned the growl and took her under the warm water... My Mate... My Life....
When we were dry, we walked into the closet, and I pulled out the navy three piece suit I planned to wear tonight. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow and I chuckled at her and the honest surprise on her face. "Look behind you my Luna love" I say to her with a grin. She spun around and gasped.
"It's stunning!!! What's the occasion?" She asks turning back to face me.
"You're becoming an official Pack member and their Luna tonight" I say, pride filling me. She squealed in excitement and ran her hands down the stunning red ball gown I had picked out for her.
We started to get ready, and I helped her curl her beautiful blonde hair and pinned part of it up for her. She looked and smelt beautiful. In a way I wish I had waited until Friday as that was when her Heat would finish but I was too excited for her to officially be a pack member. I loved her and I needed everyone possible to share in that with me.
When we were dressed and ready, I took her to take her oath with the pack elders and it went by so fast, I was so proud of her as I walked her into the pack house and took her down the staircase into the basement ballroom we had there.
Paul announced us, "Alpha Ash and your new Luna Cici" and everyone clapped and shouted as they saw us. The grin on both our faces lighting up the room as our pack welcomed her into the family. I felt the string from the pack bond attach to her as we got to the bottom of the steps and everyone started mentally linking her to welcome her.
'My Luna' I reached out to her and saw her face light up. 'Yours' she replied, and I chuckled as we danced and socialized all night long.
Cici's POV:
Waking up in Ash's arms was utter perfection, after all the festivities from my induction to the pack we slept for the whole of Thursday. It was now 1am on Friday as I woke and untangled my naked body from the warmth of my mate. Maya whined in my head at the deception and leaving her mate. 'It's ok, we will come back having saved our birth pack' I think, trying to get her to be fully on my side. She whines again but I can feel her agree and submit to my plans.
Glad I waited until today as my heat was now over which meant travelling wasn't as much of a worry for me as my scent was back to normal and not ten times as potent and inviting to any male wolves I go by. I creep out of the room and into the spare room where I had clothes ready, with some spare sets in a bag for shifting on my way. I set it up in here so that there was no risk of waking Ash up while getting ready.
I go to the kitchen and take my leftovers out the fridge and devour them to keep my energy up during my journey and fight ahead. I pull the note I had written to Ash out of the bag and set it up against the kettle so he would see it when he made coffee. I also left a note for Darius in his office so that he didn't think I had forgotten what his job was within the pack.
I just had to do this alone.
I took one last look at the home I shared with my mate and smiled... I couldn't wait for the rest of our lives to fill this place with memories and pups.
But for now, I had to face my father... I just hoped that Ash could forgive my deception when i return.
