Adria woke up due to her phone ringing, she looked at her phone and saw min's name.
"Hello." She answered the call but sounded cold.
"Hey Adria, I miss you." Min said sweetly.
Adria remained quiet Min chuckled softly "Mean lady."
"Why are you calling?." Adria said.
"Well to inform you I'll stop by your company today." Min said smiling broadly.
"Ok ." she replied feeling less concerned.
Then she recalled the day Asachi saw Min, they acted so familiar.
"Hey umm Min." She called out to him.
"Yeah." He replied
"What relationship do you share with Asachi and the company." Adria asked.
"Who is Asachi." Min replied.
"The guy that day at the company's garage." Adria said.
"Oh that's my ally's minion." He said
"What do you mean?." Adria said as she felt something was a miss.
"Adria you can't know everything." He said to her.
"Ok." Adria said as she ended the call, she had an uneven feeling about min and Asachi's relationship.
She didn't mind, she should probably stick to her own business so she got ready and heading to work.
Today Yan Chen was going to take Akio to school.
Yan Chen drove Akio to school, arriving there she was told someone was waiting for her at the administrators office. She dropped Akio off and headed to the office arriving there she saw a slender young man seated at the office, his hair covered his face as he was staring at the ground.
Lee stood up as he raised his head to get a good look at the lady who took action against his niece. "Good morning ma'am, I assume you are the mother of Akio." he said calmly.
Yan Chen was really stunned, this young man was so breath taking, he was heavenly she stared for a while before replying. "Y...yes."
Lee was used to ladies staring, so he didn't mind. He went straight to the point "My niece would like to say something to you." he said as he tugged at Cheng.
Cheng stepped out and looked at the lady and turned to her uncle "This isn't the lady who reported me."
"Apologize." he ordered
"I'm sorry ma'am for abusing Akio and I'll never try that again." Cheng said with her head bowed low as she regrets what she did.
Yan Chen bent down as she tried to reach Cheng with a smile "It's o-."
Immediately Lee drew his niece back, Yan Chen's smile froze this young man was really overprotective. She gave a fake cough and said "It's fine dear you don't have to worry."
"Thanks." lee said as he strolled out with his niece.
"That wasn't the lady from that day, the lady who came over was very tall and she didn't have our eyes." Cheng blabbered.
Lee thought for a while "But this lady said she was his mother."
"Yes she is, but the other lady seemed more caring and overprotective towards Akio than akio's actually mom. She came over yesterday and she really sounded mad, I thought she was going to hit me though." Cheng exaggerated.
"Hmm strange well that's not our business is it?." Lee said as he stared at his phone, it was a text from Lei he opened it and read it.
"No." Cheng said as she shook her head.
They entered their car but when they were about to leave the head of the school ran towards them.
"Ahh good day sir, it's been really nice to see you after all this years." The headmaster said.
This was the school Lee attended when he was young.
Lee remained quiet as he wasn't interested in the conversation, he turned to the man and raised his brow.
The head master understood the look "Well I came to inform you that Cheng can resume school tomorrow."
"Hm." Lee said as he drove off in full speed pouring dust on the head masters face in the process, he later slowed down when he remembered he had a kid in the car.
He took Cheng home and rushed to his grandma's room, getting there he was stunned to see his grandma with few reporters and celebration planners.
"Ma." he said as he stood at the door.
"Come right in my boy." Lee grandma said.
He stepped in and they briefed him on what was happening, they was going to be a celebration for him so they wanted to ask him few questions.
"Mr lee how does it feel to be back home." One of the reporters asked.
"Good." he said calmly as he stared daggers at Lei because the text he sent never said anything about reporters.
"Your grandma here said you are still bachelor and you ready to be taken is that true." the reporter said
Lee smiled as he stared straight at the female reporters who blushed profusely "Yes, grandma's wishes." He said confirming the question.
"Alright that's the end." the boss said to Lee's grandma "Can we at least take a picture of him."
"No that's all I'll call to inform you about the venue of his celebration since it hasn't been decided on yet." Grandma said excitedly.
This media company was the biggest in Asia and was well recognized also, they left as they had a job to do.
"So where do you want the celebration my boy." Grandma asked Lee.
"Why do we have to do all this ma." Lee complained he just got back and the last thing he wanted was this party thing.
"Lee! We have talked about this already, now answer my question." Grandma said.
"Ma I think we should celebrate it at my house dad bought for me in high school." He said simply knowing he can't win against his grandma.
"Why but we could celebrate it here or your mansion." Grandma said as she found his choice weird.
"No ma for security reasons." Lee cleared the air.
"Hmm alright so we leave tomorrow then." Grandma said.
"Alright I'll be leaving." Lee said as he walked away and lei trailed behind him.
"Ok, ok." she said as she began to order the event planners to go get the house ready.
Lee stepped out with Lei, he turned to lei and asked "So what's the lead on the lady?."
"They said it was just a regular customer in the club, but she didn't base here she comes and leave." Lei replied.
"Hm....sounds made up to me." Lee said as he massaged his jaw.
"Yeah but what made sense was she immediately traveled the next day after that night." Lei said.
"Is that do." Lee said.
"Yes, I expected a wow but anyways she was just a scared lady, she isn't a threat." Lei replied.
"Alright but still do few research tho." Lee said as he walked towards his car.
"Alright."
Lee entered his car, he looked at his phone they were severely missed calls from Lisa.
"Ugh." he sigh but didn't pick up.
He drove to his company as he had things to settle, when he arrived at the office looking at his desk he saw the documents from Lu cooperation he smirked as he called out to his second in command (his acting ceo).
"Good day sir." His acting ceo greeted.
"Hm." Lee replied
"How are you doing sir." He said respectfully.
"I'm ok, I want you to send out an invitation to the lu cooperation as soon as the invitation card is given to the company alright." Lee ordered.
"Yes sir." He replied.
"And you can have this document and work on them yourself." he took a breath "And as for the lu document, I've gone through them you can take them too." Lee said as he toss the paper on the table.
"Yes sir, sir Mister Xo Kim's daughter Xo Yin asked for an alliance to launch her new watch collection." He said as he fidgeted.
"Decline." Lee said as he ushered him out and closed his door when he left.
Today the Lee company was really working hard as there evil boss was in the company.
This was Sofia's first time experience much work in her life, she even got to see a glimpse of her bosses face and he looked so breath taking, she couldn't believe that was who people addressed as mean, cold and proud.
