"I swear I'd smack his head if he won't stop staring", the professor's eyes slightly narrowed as holding the sight of something from distance, lips rounding as of those in a pout while speculating hard. The boy standing over there continued keeping the gaze, not responding to the girl who was leeched to his side, her hands working out over the bulky chest. This was a new girl. Scarlett didn't see the face of the girl on his lap from the other night but she had black hair, this one, opposite to hers, had blondes.
"Or those lips", she brooded, her legs crossing. The girl's annoying mood was reflected in the sullen look over her face. Alex and Dylan turned their heads to the girl's sight, to follow who she was referring to.
"Oh, Edric", Alex looked back at Scarlett, dismissing the same smirk that was adorning Edric's lips. By the way he mentioned his name, it was clearly obvious that he was close to the boy. If not close, he, at least, knew about him enough than anybody else present in the club.
"Why are you laying back? Not being rude, but the girl glued to his side; as if she is getting her body charged or what; ain't nothing as compared to you. If you want to be at her place, sulking here would not bring you closer to him. Go and do whatsoever you have going on in there. I can assure you one thing, he will never turn someone like you down", Alex put the wine glass down on the table, his other hand massaging his way up to Dylan's legs.
"I don't lay back. I get what I want. He is just not someone I want", it was true though. The boy had a deep strenuous stare that could make anybody lose their control in a matter of seconds, his magnanimous body screaming attention and attraction from every girl, that lazy sexy smirk he wore when he would make eye contact with someone, a perfectly sculptured chest, but that was all.
The girl had watched in the movies that when someone would find a right one, they would feel shivers, shivers of euphoric pleasure running down their body, a tingling sensation dancing over their skin.
There was also something else that she had heard about....something running or flying...flying! yeah, butterflies. One would feel as if butterflies were flying in one's stomach. She would be grateful if she get fireflies flying there because considering her demands, she believed that she would die alone. Also, that all was for people in love, and for now, as she was only looking for a one-night hook-up that she thought was easier to find than finding your love as written by a songwriter in her lyrics,
"Night stands were more like
Changing clothes in the night light
Leaving marks, earning moans, spreadin 'em wide
Later losin control, until you drove underneath me."
Where was her one-night stand? The professor wanted to sue the writer for writing the first two lyrics because every time those lyrics crossed her mind, she would feel herself the piece of clothing that was laying in the farthest corner, untouched by anyone.
Edric was one of the hot boys she had laid eyes on. When both friends decided on a one-nighter plan, it was made clear that the age factor would become an exception in this case.
"Your body language isn't supporting the words coming out of your mouth, beautiful", Alex smiled, as the girl was still gawking at the boy. He was right. Her body wanted the boy, and she was not opting for a date so the age demand could be compromised. But her mind was not letting her.
"And I see you have a problem with keeping your hands to yourself", the girl finally tore her gaze from the boy. When her eyes were back on the couple sitting across, they sensed some movements down. Lowering them to the suspicious area, she sighed witnessing the not-so-decent scene.
Alex's hand was dangerously near to Dylan's front, one more shift and it would be laying on the top. He was enjoying his little teasing, however, the other boy's face was turning to the dark shades of red. It was either out of embarrassment as he was sitting in front of his friend or becoming needy for the touch. Scarlett couldn't point out which.
"Things are getting steamy here, I need some fresh air", deciding to give them some private time, the girl got up.
"I'll be out in the open area. Don't forget me here", reminding her friend she shot him a glare and walked further on the first floor.
After crossing a narrow passageway, she found herself in a large balcony area. The view was opened to the dark street on the backside of the club. Unlike the glistening, vibrant front, the backside was rather darker and quite calmed. Distant music playing could still be heard but it was not as loud as inside.
When she glanced up at the sky, the lights were too bright to let a star be captured by a naked eye, however, something shinier and bigger was caught in them. The moon. It was not a full moon but in a phase greater than half-moon. If it weren't for those surrounding artificial lights, the girl was sure that she could feel the moon shining on her face.
Under the clear dark sky, a gentle breeze was swaying the petals of the flowers that were implanted in the regular planter box positioned at the two opposite far ends of the balcony. This place could be used perfectly for a kiss shared between two people either out of love or need. The soft blowing air made the professor feel like being embraced. Embraced by the nature.
"Nature lover?", just a few minutes had passed to the girl enjoying the serene atmosphere, she heard a relatively familiar voice speaking from behind. She didn't turn around as she knew the owner was none other than Edric.
