Chapter 33 - Rabbit

Meanwhile…

Maximus and Lenora started dancing. "You look good closer, My dear Royal Escort," Lenora commented as she looked into him.

"I like your green eyes," she added looking at you.

"And?" he asked raising his eyes.

"You are handsome," she admitted.

"You are quite brave to say these things to a man," he said.

"Well, that man would be my lifetime escort," Lenora said.

"You are versed," he said.

"Well, I should be. I shouldn't look any less than my husband, right?" she asked.

"These things and words make me want to run away with you and make love to you," he said.

"You shall wait," she said as she blushed. She faked a cough to cover up her blush but it didn't work.

Maximus looked at the woman in front of him who was trying to prove that she was confident and she knew everything. Indeed she is confident, she knew a lot of things but still, there was a certain part of her still innocent. Her silvery eyes said many unsaid stories. They are much more talkative than her mouth. He could say when she said she wanted to leave vampires she meant it.

The lips that were talking to him were all riddle she was webbing for him to solve. Those confused eyes were begging him to clear her confusion. Her beautiful face was narrating to him a quest asking him to solve. Her presence is like a hidden treasure, tempting him to claim her. Her body was heaven that pulled him closer to conquer her deepest hidden assets of hers.

In short, she was someone to whom he was attracted.

"What secrets are you hiding, Rabbit?" he asked.

"Something you won't like to hear," she says.

"I like the things that everyone hates," he replied to her.

"Trust me, when I say you will hate me. You would," she replied.

Soon, the song was ended they ended their dance with a bow. There was dinner served for them, they ate before they went to their rooms.

Adira was getting restless without Zaros. And a Vampire mate… she was really confused about this. Walking around even though it was morning, she just went into her brother's wing.

"Brother," she calls. When she didn't find him, she knew he would be in his study.

Werewolves can survive sunlight but they will turn weak. And they exude a faint scent that can say they were werewolves. Killing a werewolf during the daytime is very easy. So, to avoid them they sleep in the sun and walk around under the moon.

"Brother," she calls Maximus when she reached his study.
