"Noah?" Lia called softly as the wolf just snorted in the same position indicating her guess was correct.
Lia was literally taken aback by the view in front of her but she expected his wolf self to be exactly like that. He was majestic in all aspect even in his human form so there is no need to talk about his wolf self, which is his real identity. He was almost as big as Oliver but the colour was a little different. Oliver had a brown fur while Noah is having a grey and white mix, giving him a warm and comforting look.
Noah slowly walked to her and sat down and leaned to the wall, taking a comfortable position as he adjusted himself more. He growled very low indicating her to move close to him and Lia automatically smiled. Soon she found herself sitting close to him covering her cold body with his soft and warm fur. Low grunts leaving his mouth every now and then but he kept his eyes outside, staring at the moon.
LIA'S POV...
He is surprisingly everything that I have ever looked for in a mate but why didn't I meet him before? I was loving every aspect of him forgetting the fact that he is just an ordinary omega whom I shouldn't get involved with. My focus was supposed to be on taking revenge and securing my pack but this boy is making me doubt it. I so wish to leave this realm and go with him but where to?
"Noah, you don't have to do this for me." I said with no meaning because his generousness is holding me back.
He didn't say anything but just looked at me with his crystal blue eyes and all I wanted was to hug him real tight. He might not accept it because he is definitely not interested in me or any other one, as far as I could read him. The daylight was starting to show up through the clouds meaning, we need to sort out a way and escape. I have to send Noah away from here or else Oliver would take revenge for disturbing the ceremony.
I stayed the same for some more time, till the coldness totally left me and I felt much better. Noah was fast asleep and I wanted him to turn back to his human form so that I could stare at him for longer. He was so adorable and pretty when he was relaxing earlier making me want to eat him up. I was rubbing his furry tummy softly as he purred like a kitten, moving his head closer to mine.
"Uhh?" I gasped as soon as he opened his eyes staring at me again as if it is his habit.
He wiggled under me indicating to move away which definitely dropped my heart beat. Was he not comfortable at all? Was he staying just for my sake and he wanted to leave all along? I silently moved away from him and watched every movement of the boy who again bit his dress and went inside the cave instead of outside like the last night. Maybe he was afraid that the others would find him easily if he shows his human face.
END OF LIA'S POV...
.
.
.
"Why were you staring at me the whole night?" The deep ass hoarse voice scared her yet again.
"Same question, same answers." Lia muttered like in a whisper making sure that the boy wouldn't hear her.
"Pfft." He literally scoffed before sitting next to her whistling something as if he was on a picnic.
"What is your plan?"
"I don't know and thanks to you. I would have at least stayed home with my mother and Lego. Lego wouldn't even sleep without me." He sighed as his eyes saddened.
"Uh?"
Lia was obviously hurt hearing that one name whom she doesn't even know. Who can she be? Lego? Can she be his girl friend? Is he seeing someone? Is that the reason he was not showing any interest in me? A lot of question passed through her mind and she was immediately drowned in her dream world.
"Lego is my pet cat... stop cursing at her."
"W-What? How did you?" Lia asked totally surprised but her face showed pure happiness as if there was nothing in between them.
"Your face talks so loud." He gave her a funny face and turned his focus back to the forest.
"You don't have to stay here for me. You can leave to home, if you want to. In fact, no one knows that you saved me until you would say." Lia said not because she wanted him to leave but just as a formality.
"The girl whom I gave sleeping potion to would have already said that to Oliver. The whole Flores would come at me for this and again thanks to you. I was overly loved by everyone here and now, you gonna bring me all the hatred."
"I am sorry but as an Omega..."
"Please don't start with that." He kneeled down before her dramatically and folded his hands together.
Lia frowned at the boy but decided to do what she was not supposed to. She wanted him to be happy rather than stay with her just to throw some random hurt words and cusses. She got up slowly and pulled him up too, surprisingly the boy got up without another explanation.
"I will let you go." Lia said after taking a deep breath.
"After finishing your so called work?" Noah rolled his eyes as he buttoned up his shirt completely.
"No, you are going now." Lia said pulling him out of the cave giving no warning.
"But why so sudden? I mean, you are still stuck here and they would punish more if they see you roam around. You are having cubs so you need to be careful and Oliver is still free." Noah exclaimed as his eyes wandered around.
"That is on me, I don't want you to be trapped here just because you helped me."
"That is definitely true but since I saved you, it is on me to protect you."
