"Get changed, I would check if anyone is coming." Lia said as she walked to the road where the alley starts. Noah looked at her one more time before starting to dress up with his bleeding leg.
"Thankyou, but do not turn back." He called out to her.
"I am not interested."
After few minutes of waiting all she could hear was low grunts and shuffled movements of the fabric. She was confused as to why the boy is taking so much of time but then, he thought maybe because of the wound in his leg that he must be struggling with his pants or something.
"How do I wear this?" Noah asked from behind after a few minutes struggles throwing a piece of cloth at her.
"Ouch." Lia groaned as she took the cloth from near her leg and turning to the boy only to lose her breath.
"Help me with that." He said with his veiny hands crossed over his torso and leaning to the wall for support.
"You are naked." Lia stated as she immediately pulled the cloth to her face and covering her eyes.
"Obviously I am naked so help me wear that." He groaned yet again not m=bothering the fact that she could see him naked.
"Wear it somehow. How am I supposed to know all this when you are the one who pulled me here with you." She said throwing the dress back at him with eyes still closed.
"You are so not helpful. Luna us supposed to take care and protect the Omegas and here you are not even able to help me with this thing." He continued ranting as he tried on the dress once again.
"You are so slow, we need to get to a safer place." Lia said still not sparing a glance at the boy.
"What are these strings for?" He asked walking to her, holding on to two black strings.
"Uhh I don't know but just put it over your shoulders." Lia said helping him do that.
"My legs are still bleeding, I don't think that I can walk with this to anywhere." He complained while looking at his ankle with gritted teeth.
"We need to clean this up." She nodded her head as she bent down to his ankle, carefully observing the blood which was flowing down.
"Where? We can't get the medicines and potions here."
"There must be some place where even humans go to clean these things. You are the one who said humans live the best life and I exactly want you to tell me how that is true." She glared at him while tying a piece of cloth to the wound which she took with her earlier.
"Be gentle." He said balling his hands to a tight fist.
.
.
.
"Is this, one of those places?" Noah asked standing in front of a building along with Lia.
"Maybe, I can sense blood from here."
"Let's check, I am going to faint for real if this isn't treated now."
"Are you sure that you are an Omega? Can't you handle just one cut?" Lia scoffed while following him to the building which was crowded by a lot of people who were giving them an indifferent look.
"Looks like no one even suspects us or cares for us." Noah sighed as he approached a lady in the front desk.
"Sir, how can I help you?" The lady quickly asked jumping up from the seat, while tucking her brown strand of hair.
"My leg is hurt, is there anything to do about it?" He asked straight forward wondering what else he should ask.
"Oh ye-yes, please take the token and go to the observation room. The Doctor would be there." She said politely but her eyes were busy scanning the boy.
"Hmm? Token?" He asked confused and then looked at Lia.
"Yes sir, you can pay the amount here and collect one." She said again making him more confused.
"Pay what?" Lia spoke to the lady noticing how confused Noah was.
"The money?" The receptionist was totally confused at their strange questions but tried to keep her calm.
"Uhh, we are actually new to this place. We have no idea about anything so can you perhaps help us?" Lia asked with hopeful eyes seeing Noah whimper in the pain.
"You need to pay the money for me to do something, ma'am."
"We can clear that later, his leg is bleeding so hurry up and bring him to the observation now." A girl in white coat said as she walked into a room with a sling bag in her arms.
.
.
.
"How does it feel now?" The girl asked finishing the dressing in his ankle.
"I am fine." He answered still examining his leg while Lia stood beside him with an angry eyes.
"Hmm, take these medicines for two days in case it hurts and visit me after a week so we can check if the wound is healed." She smiled at him and helped him to sit up on the bed.
"Thankyou." He flashed his infamous box smile at her.
"We will go now." Lia immediately said pulling Noah from the bed.
"Wait, you can't take him now. I just stitched the cut so he needs to stay in bed for some time. I have to get his health reports too so I advice you to leave and return by morning."
"I am not going anywhere without him." Lia angrily spat at her.
"Is she your girl friend?" The doctor asked Noah completely ignoring the shout of Lia.
"Uhh? No."
"So ask her not to interrupt my work. By standers are not allowed at night so I will be the one who would be checking on you in between." The girl said giving a stare at Lia and then a soft smile at him.
"Are we going or not?" Lia asked him as her anger would soon take over the situation.
"Where to?" He mouthed at her.
"How do I know? This was all your idea." Lia whisper shouted at him and then looked at the girl to see if she was eavesdropping on them.
