Chapter 17 - Part 16

The gentle caress on her head slightly disturbed Marsha's peaceful sleep. The woman still seemed very reluctant to open her eyes even though Alland had been trying to wake her up. Starting from shaking her body, stroking the long mane, even pinching Marsha's arm. But Marsha was still comfortable in her sleep.

"Wake up sleepyhead," said Alland, who was getting frustrated.

However, Alland was happy to find Marsha who had not woken up in the morning because he could see Marsha's innocent face when she was asleep.

"Ugh..."

"Finally you woke up. I thought you were dead." his curt made Marsha immediately throw her bolster pillow right on Alland's head.

"You're disturbing my sleep!"

Alland chuckled softly. "Look it's 9 o'clock and you're still sleeping. I warned you to get up early, didn't I? We have to go back to meeting Mr. Rich." he said to tell.

"I don't want to. You go alone."

"You can't. You know we came here to meet him and i brought you to help me. Today Mr. Rich will sign our cooperation contract." Alland said rejecting Marsha's wish, who didn't want to come with him.

Alland's main purpose in bringing Marsha was none other than because he wanted Marsha to always be close to him. Being an impromptu secretary was his alibi so that Marsha would accompany him to visit French.

"Did he give you the shares?"

"Right. That's why you have to get ready now!" Alland said firmly.

Marsha sighed softly. "I don't want to come with you Alland, it's so boring. Can i just go for a walk today?" she whispered.

"After you accompany me, i will take you wherever you want," he said trying to offer.

Seeing her previous experience, Marsha was intrigued by his offer. But not this time, it can be seen from Marsha's pitiful face.

"I wanna go for a walk by myself, Alland. I promise, I'll call you when I'm done and I'll also help you plan your schedule afterward. How about it?" she said he made the offer back to Alland.

"Can't."

"Oh, c'mon let me. Just this once, Alland." Marsha whined while showing an expression like a little bear asking to be petted.

Alland snorted in annoyance. Because he couldn't refuse Marsha's request. His heart was too weak for this kind of thing.

"You promised didn't you?"

"I promise!"

He reluctantly nodded his head. And a second later Marsha immediately lunged at him with a horrendous hug that made Alland almost fall to his knees. Alland also hissed cynically, but after that Alland realized the closeness of the two. It made her body stiffen without Marsha noticing. Was the girl deliberately toying with him?

"You're always like this when you want to ask for something," he said making Marsha chuckle. She raised her head to look at Alland with those round eyes.

"I already promised," she said with a happy smile that subconsciously made Alland smile too.

"When you're done, just call me. Remember, don't forget!" he warned.

"I won't forget!"

"Okay, but don't try to be weird out there or you'll get in trouble." his words again made Marsha chuckle.

"Yes, i remember. I'm not a kid anymore you have to give this and that advice," she said lazily.

"You're indeed a little bear. So, i must remind you."

"That's up to you. You better get going or you'll make the old man angry." Marsha said with an expelling tone which then released her embrace.

Alland nodded his head in approval. After that, he left Marsha alone in the room provided by Alland in his mansion. Considering that Marsha didn't get along with Mr.Rich, Alland had to obey Marsha's wishes. Moreover, knowing that Oreos, the son of the old man was chasing Marsha, made Alland's blood boil in disgust. Maybe it was better for Marsha not to go with him. Yes, he made the right decision.

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!" Alland shouted uncontrollably when he received a report from his men that they had lost track of Marsha.

Yes, he did tell them to follow Marsha secretly. Not without reason, Alland just didn't want anything to happen to Marsha considering this was not a familiar area for Marsha. And after Alland had just finished his meeting with Mr.Rich, he immediately got the news. Alland contacted Marsha as soon as possible but got no answer at all. Unlucky!

"Shit! Why isn't she picking up my phone!" he snapped angrily at his cellphone, then turned to look at his two messengers who were now looking down in fear.

"Did i hire you just to play around?! Why are you so incompetent!"

"I'm sorry, sir. We've been following her since morning and after Marsha was spotted meeting another woman we suddenly lost track of her." the man replied with his head still bowed.

"You think a woman can't be dangerous? That woman can harm Marsha, damn it!" he snapped again.

"Once again we apologize, sir."

Alland sighed harshly. "Search for Marsha until you find it! You're done with the slightest scratch!" he said threatening and going straight to his car. Driving it so fast without direction, the important thing is that Marsha can be found.

Alland slammed the steering wheel in annoyance because he had not found Marsha, nor did his men. Alland has even been around several cities in Paris, but it seems that Marsha's whereabouts were deliberately hidden by someone. Or maybe the woman is being kidnapped?

"Fuck! He's a real jerk!"

A scream of exasperation that sounded familiar to him interrupted Alland's thoughts. The man immediately turned and saw a woman who was falling on the side of the road. No, she's not alone. Another woman was accompanying her. And when Alland sharpened his vision, he was quite surprised to find Marsha there. Sitting on the side of the road screaming.

What happened with her?

Without wasting any more time, Alland immediately approached Marsha.

"What are you doing?!" Alland asked loudly enough to make Marsha tiptoe in surprise.

"A...Alland?"

Alland growled. "Stand up!" the order is undeniable.

Marsha tried to stand up, but unfortunately, she fell again making her buttocks kiss the rough road again. Seeing this, Alland's blood boils and makes Alland's anger grow even more.

"What's wrong with your leg?" he asked, sounding worried, noticing Marsha's swollen right ankle.

Marsha grimaced stifled, not daring to answer Alland who currently looked very scary.

"Marsha fell." answered a woman who was with Marsha.

"Who are you?"

The woman bowed her head in respect. "I'm Kate, her friend. We bumped into each other while Marsha was walking in the mall. And because of the excitement of meeting me, she forgot how to walk and fell." Kate told him.

Hearing Kate's narrative, Alland glared at Marsha who was afraid to look at him.

"She's right."

"Do you think your legs are useless anymore? You can't be a model at this rate, Marsha!" Alland snapped, who was actually worried about Marsha's condition, but Marsha responded differently.

Hearing Alland yells at her and abuse her, made her heartthrob in pain. Where is Marsha who can always compensate for Alland's anger? Seems to be disappearing.

"Don't be mad at her, please. It's not entirely her fault." Kate doesn't want Marsha to be treated like that with Alland.

Alland snorted in annoyance. "You're so annoying," he said who then immediately carried Marsha bridal style.

Kate smiled at Alland's concern. "I know you're a good person. Please take good care of my friend, she doesn't deserve to be treated badly, sir. This friend of mine deserves her happiness." Kate said.

"What are you talking about?" Marsha reached over while glaring at Kate. Instead of being scared, Kate laughed.

"I'm serious, sir. Marsha deserves happiness and i hope you can give it to her. Then i'll excuse myself." she said goodbye without paying attention to Marsha's screams which sounded very noisy.

"Hey, Kate here you're! You ungrateful friend!" her screams made Alland snap in annoyance.

"Noisy!"

Alland's shout made Marsha immediately fall silent. Didn't dare say anymore and that made Alland a little bit calmer.

"Remember, i'm still mad at you. When we get back from Paris we'll talk about it," said Alland who had brought Marsha into his car.

"What do you mean?"

"We're back tonight."

"What?! Why so soon? Shouldn't there be two more days left?" she asked half shrieking.

"Just follow it, i'm the CEO!" Alland said.

Marsha sighed softly at Alland's words. "Yes, you're the CEO!" Marsha snapped angrily.

"I hope you keep quiet, Marsha. I can't wait to face you let alone find you hurt like that. Don't make me have to ruin the lives of people around there for letting you fall." Alland's words made Marsha blink in disbelief.

"Are you crazy?!"

"If you don't want that to happen, keep quiet. I'll treat your wound on the plane." he said, then he had driven the car.

Marsha also chose to surrender.

"You coercive!"
