Chapter 13 - Part 12

Marsha looked at herself in the mirror on the wardrobe door. This morning Marsha chose to wear blue jeans with a thin tear right in front of her thigh so that Marsha's smooth thigh was slightly exposed. Don't forget the white tank top covered with a cardigan in the same color as the jeans, but not too bright.

Ah, don't forget the shiny sunglasses she's wearing. Marsha prefers wearing pants to dresses that are always attached to her body. She will only wear dresses at photoshoots or parties. Apart from that, Marsha prefers to wear casual clothes, like now.

"You're amazing, Marsha," she muttered proudly at her beauty.

Marsha rushed out of her apartment. She didn't want to be late this morning considering that Hans couldn't be reached again. Marsha also didn't know why Hans had been so difficult to contact in the past two days and her manager always made an excuse when he woke up late. We don't know, Marsha doesn't care either.

"You waiting for someone?" ask someone from inside the car.

Marsha frowned in confusion, she couldn't see clearly who the man in the luxury car was.

"It's me, little bear," he said as he leaned over to clear Marsha's confusion.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Marsha asked curtly.

Do they live close by? Marsha thought.

"Maybe you don't know, but my mansion is nearby. Are you waiting for your manager?" asked Alland who got a nod from Marsha's head.

"Come in," he said to let Marsha into his car.

"No. I'm too lazy to get into trouble this morning." reject Marsha openly.

"If the problem you mean is tired of arguing, then I will remain silent," Alland said trying to persuade Marsha.

"No. Your people will look at me strangely if we are together," she said.

Alland nodded his head slowly. "I can handle it, now come in," he said a little pushy.

Marsha took a deep breath, then glanced at her watch. If Marsha didn't come with Alland, then she would be late. Maybe this is the right decision.

"Okay, but remember. You just shut up!" she said, reminiscent of what Alland said earlier.

Alland's lips twitched to suppress a smile. He wanted to smile, but he couldn't because Marsha would have a big head later.

"You're always a weird, little bear." he thought.

A knock from outside Alland's office door distracted him from his activities. He put down the papers, then looked at his office door which was quite far there, and after that, ordered the girl to come in.

"Sorry to bother you, sir. I came here to ask for your autograph," said Tiffany who walked over to him.

"Put it down, I'll sign it later," he said pointing to an empty table near the sofa in his room.

Tiffany also gave up her intention to approach Alland and put a file on the empty table that Alland pointed to. "Then would you like to have lunch together?" Tiffany asked doubtfully.

Hearing that Alland glanced at his watch briefly. And yes, it's lunch time "No. You can go with the others." he refused, then rose from his chair.

"Are you still busy, sir? If so, I will bring your lunch here," she said offer.

"No need. You can go now." remove it gently.

Tiffany also bowed respectfully, then left. After Tiffany left, Alland came out of his room to the floor which was directly below his oversized floor. Of course to meet Marsha.

"Ms. Charlotte, let's have lunch together. We've reserved a table at a nearby restaurant." invite one of her co-workers.

"Yeah, it would be really fun if you came with us." the other said enthusiastically.

"Why did you ask her! She wouldn't be comfortable considering there would still be reporters after her."

"You're right. Have you forgotten about the scandal? We'll be in the spotlight too." another word.

"And what's worse, we can go viral. I don't want that to happen considering the bad case 5 months ago."

Marsha smiled back at the words that she thought were painful. She immediately left from there, otherwise, a wouldn't be able to stop herself from replying to those words even more painfully.

"Marsha!" call someone in front of the elevator while waving his hand.

Marsha rolled her eyes lazily. "I don't know if it's just my feelings or because this is your intention, you always come to me," she said in an annoyed tone.

"You're very confident. I came here to give your photographer a little advice, but it looks like you guys are resting, huh?" Alland said as he put his hands in his pants pockets.

"They just left."

"What's with that ugly face of yours?" Alland asked finding Marsha uninspired.

"It's because of you! Get out of the way I have to fill my stomach," she said as she shifted Alland's muscular body.

Before Marsha passed him Alland swiftly prevented her from leaving.

"Let me follow you."

"No. I just wanted to eat by myself today." she reject it.

"Oh come on, you would look so pathetic eating alone in a public place. Aren't you afraid the bad guys will stalk you?" said Alland scaring Marsha.

At first, Marsha didn't care about it, but thinking about it again she became paranoid herself.

What if there were more reporters?

Are they going to hit me with that stupid question?

Or is there some bad guy who wants to kidnap me?

Unlucky! It's all because of Alland!

"Fine, but I choose the place!" press Marsha.

Alland casually nodded his head. "I'll follow wherever you go, little bear."

Marsha snorted harshly. "Don't whine if it doesn't live up to your expectations," she said in a threatening tone, but Alland didn't seem to mind it.

"I told you, I'll follow you wherever, Marsha."

"Well, it's your decision, Alland."

Marsha just finished a photoshoot for a beautiful and expensive dress that will be on sale next week and of course Alisya the designer who designed it. After saying goodbye to the shooting crew, Marsha immediately rushed to the elevator. She wanted to hurry up to her apartment and lay down on her soft bed. Just imagining it made her sleepy right now.

"What's wrong with Hans lately? Why is he so hard to contact!" Marsha grumbled as she still tried to contact Hans, but got no answer. Only the operator's voice answered.

When Marsha just got out of the elevator, she suddenly bumped into a man who was about to get into the elevator. Marsha bowed respectfully to apologize to the man. The man was also at fault for not paying attention to herself when she got out of the elevator.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Marsha said apologetically, then took another step before the man quickly grabbed her arm.

"Wait!"

Marsha reflexively removed the man's hand from her arm. That person was just a stranger, he shouldn't have held back Marsha like this.

"I already apologized."

"No, that's not it. I seem to know you," he said with a frown and tried to remember Marsha's face in his mind.

Marsha angrily raised her head. And how surprised Marsha was when she found out that the man was her ex-boyfriend who had not been in touch with her for a long time. Moreover, Marsha was the cause of the end of the relationship.

"Why is he here!" Marsha screamed in panic in her heart.

"No. You don't know me!" she screamed involuntarily. Marsha never thought she would meet her ex here and like this.

The man shook his head affirmatively. "I'm sure I know you very well," he said sure.

"You're wrong. Now get out of the way!" Marsha said as the man grabbed her arm again.

"Oh, I remember!" the man shouted quickly.

"You don't remember. I'm not her. You're wrong." Marsha said frantically.

Don't let the man get to know her because if he still knows her, then Marsha will get into trouble again.

The man smiled at Marsha's panicked expression. "Why are you so panicked? Do you think I could forget you so quickly? Come on, what man would forget his ex-girlfriend who broke his heart. Right on his birthday." he said in a tone enough to make Marsha even more panicked.

"You're the wrong person!"

"I can't be wrong about you, Marsha!" he snapped when he saw Marsha again denied that he was wrong.

"Let me go. I don't want to see you again."

The man laughed out loud. "I'm not mistaken, am I?" he said while raising an eyebrow to mock Marsha.

"Noah!" call someone back there.

Seeing Noah slightly off guard, Marsha immediately took the opportunity to run away.

"Hey, where are you going Marsha?!" call Noah to see Marsha already running away.

"Who are you talking to?" asked Alland who was already next to him which made Noah snort in annoyance.

"That's not important. Can we talk about the partnership now? I hope you reconsider Mr. Stanford. You've even made a big profit." Noah said trying to persuade Alland.

"Next month I will increase the percent. You just calm down," he said as he patted Noah's shoulder.

Noah smirked. "Okay, I'll wait. I think we will continue to work together because I will also invest my shares here. Bigger than you give that percent." Noah said.

"Really? Did something make you decide on this?" he asked doubtfully.

"Because of Marsha of course!" he thought.

"Nothing. I think we're a good fit to work together and to benefit Mr. Stanford."

"Then we'll have to talk about it in my room. Come on." take him who then goes first, while Noah follows Alland's steps from behind.

"I'm back, Marsha."
