Rowena who had just woken up walked towards the dining room for breakfast while rubbing her eyes. Arriving at the dining room she accidentally bumped into someone's body. Rowena also tried to turn her face to the face of the person she hit.
"Oh, it's Helios." Rowena was suddenly taken aback. "What? Helios? How did you get here? Aren't you supposed to be in the palace?"
Prince Helios sat on one of the chairs in the dining room and giggled at Rowena's ridiculous antics. "Grand Duchess Erica, why are you so surprised to see me here."
Rowena also sat beside Prince Helios. "Hey, if you call me 'Grand Duchess' again then I won't hesitate to call you His Highness Prince Helios!"
"Come on, I was just kidding, Rowena. Why are you so hard to joke?" replied Prince Helios who was taking some white bread into his plate.
Sir Damian entered the dining room with sweat dripping all over his body while carrying a wooden sword in his right hand. Seeing Prince Helios joking with his sister made him annoyed. He immediately hit Prince Helios in the head with his wooden sword.
"Has the finances in the prince's palace run out so the crown prince came to my house early in the morning just for breakfast?" Sir Damian quipped.
"Marquess Squella, you don't need to worry about the financial condition of my palace. After joining the war, the treasures in my palace have increased. So much so that I almost thought of putting my treasure in your residence," replied Prince Helios who also didn't want to lose.
Sir Damian pretended to laugh. "Of course you can. If you put your treasure in my residence, automatically all the treasure will be mine. Then as you said just now if your wealth is very large, it would be better if you go back to your palace and ask the palace chef to prepare food for you."
"You should be honored Marquess Squella that a Crown Prince of this Empire is willing to have breakfast with you. Aren't you very cruel to have expelled a prince who only wanted to have breakfast here? Think about what if people found out about this, sure Marquess Squella will be the talk of the nobles," said Prince Helios as he put a piece of white bread into his mouth.
"If anyone were to carry out a coup d'etat then you should know that it might be me, Your Highness the Prince. Living in this empire gives me a headache. Should I move to the Odelette empire?"
Rowena who was already holding a dry towel in her hand went straight to Sir Damian and gently dried her brother's hair. The light bickering between Sir Damian and Prince Helios stopped for a moment. Sir Damian's previously irritated expression turned into a happy smile as Rowena wiped the sweat off his face and body.
"Rowena, you really are a very kind and sweet sister. My anger just subsided when you took the initiative to wipe my sweat like this. I was touched," said Sir Damian who continued to brag.
"Stop fighting with Helios, Brother. After that, finish your breakfast," said Rowena.
Sir Damian followed Rowena's words. After his body was dry enough, he immediately sat on the main chair at the long dining table. He began to take the bread that was on the table and ate it quietly.
"By the way, what business have you come here so early, Helios?" asked Rowena, who was chewing her food.
"Apparently you realize that there is a certain purpose behind my coming here," joked Prince Helios.
Rowena gracefully took a sip of the tea in her cup and put it back on the dining table. "Of course. If it's not of interest, how could a Prince come to visit the Marquess residence so early."
"My father has made you commander of the blue army and he wants to invite you there to discuss it further and have dinner together."
"I went to the palace alone?" Rowena asked again.
"There is no need to worry, Rowena. I will accompany you when you see His Majesty the Emperor or at dinner," said Sir Damian.
"Marquess Squella, have you forgotten that later the Red Army will conduct an inspection in the capital?" said Prince Helios with a grin.
"Damn you! You should have let me take a short vacation after participating in the war for so many years. You really are a very bad boss," complained Sir Damian.
"Then this afternoon I will go alone to the palace."
As she said, Rowena came to the Emperor's palace wearing a red lacy dress. At first she wanted to wear his knight uniform, but she still couldn't work officially so she had to give up her intention to wear the uniform.
The Emperor's Palace was truly enormous. There were a lot of people walking around. The palace can be ascertained that there are only busy people. The atmosphere there made Rowena herself feel very tense. Moreover, the people there looked very gloomy, maybe because they had a lot of work to do.
Rowena continued walking towards the Emperor's study. At that time she accidentally bumped into a man with red hair and wearing formal clothes that are usually only worn by princes from the kingdom, including Helios. The man immediately took Rowena's hand. Automatically Rowena immediately turned to the man.
"Sir, can you let go of my hand?" Rowena said with a smile and tried to maintain her manners.
"Before I let go of your name, can I know your name, Lady? It's my first time seeing you here and you really catch my eye," said the man.
After a closer look at his face and demeanor, Rowena knew who the man who wouldn't let go of his hand was. That man was Diego Odelette de Pauline, the Crown Prince of the Odelette Empire.
"How about you let go of my hand first, and then I'll tell you my name, His Highness the Crown Prince Diego Odelette de Pauline?" said Rowena who was still trying to be patient.
Diego's eyes suddenly lit up. "Wow, how did you get to my name? You even know my full name. Are you one of the many fans I have at Sunverro or do you have feelings for me? Don't worry I'm attracted to you too."
Rowena looked at the man with disdain. "I know you from Helios uh I mean Prince Helios. Then your flashy red hair makes it easier for me to recognize you. Then quickly get your hands off."
"What did Helios tell you about me?"
"An unmarried prince at the age of 24 and he also said you don't like women and only like men."
"Fuck! That bastard is defaming me," Diego cursed.
Suddenly Rowena's left hand was held by someone. Rowena turned to the person, it was Prince Helios.
"Let go of her hand, Diego!" snapped Prince Helios.
"Okay...Alright..." Diego replied who immediately gave up after the arrival of Prince Helios.
"Come on, let's go! My father has been waiting for you for a long time." Prince Helios took Rowena's hand and walked away from Diego.
"Before you go tell me your name, miss," Diego shouted.
"I'm just a lowly person, Your Majesty. My name doesn't really matter either, but if you really want to know my name, find out for yourself," Rowena replied.
