At once, hundreds of souls died in many universes. These souls were pretty similar but with varying personalities. Though alike, many died in different ways than the other souls. Some died reaching the goal the yearned so much for, some went on to have a stable and loving family, and the rest died in the fun heat of battle with a vicious and bright smile on their face, especially with the odds against them.
The deaths of these souls either meant nothing to most people or made the biggest of difference. Some were at war and were losing until the soul in that universe died. Others that some would call gods or goddesses were fighting til there last breath against those souls and barely made it out alive, however, to two Beings of great difference, those hundreds of dead souls meant more than the end of a universe.
The two Beings were in a sitting position on two separate mats. These two were located in a Realm that accends beyond the Divine Realm with Gods' and Goddesses. A Realm so unheard of by the Mortal Realm. Only Beings created by the 'Creator' himself could be in this Realm or those that have climbed beyond with 'Unbeatable' determination, countless life or death experiences, and will power that can not be broken no matter who or what it may be against.
The two Beings were looking at a board on the table between them. The bored was filled with what the two Beings referred to as 'soul pieces', which were the souls of both humans and gods. The reason they are being shown as piece is because of the game the two were playing. These pieces were being used for their game.
On the table hundreds of thouasands of pieces disappeared at once and only a few hundred thousand reappeared further back on the board. On the side where the pieces disappeared an emotionless Being sat. While on the other side sat a Being smiling ear to ear. The one smiling was the oldest of the two, being almost as ancient as time itself. the other Being was younger, only by a few millenia.
The younger Being had short hair, whiter than snow, his skin had a nice light touch of sun. His irises were a very dark crimson red and his right eye had a black line crossing his pupil and iris. He had sharp looks that could capture the heart of any woman they he would cross paths with. He wore a void black cloak with shoulder dips, that seemed to steal the colors around it, a black tailored suit underneath along with black pants, on his left hand he wore a black and crimson red glove and finally black shoes. Every aspect of him was clean and dark.
The older Being had long dark brown hair, a short brown beard with a bit of a mustache and bright and shiny golden eyes, if you looked closely you would swear to see many stars and more pop up at random times. His face wasn't as sharp as the younger one but it was still a relatively in shape face and looked almost perfect. He wore a long caped robe that matched his eyes. on the underside of his cape had many shining stars, some would go out, but many more would appear. Finally he had on gold sandals.
It was then, when the pieces reappeared, when the older one spoke.
"It would appear as though you are finally losing after millions of eons playing this damned game. To think, you, out of every Being that lives in this realm or that had climbed their way up, you, are here losing." The Older Being was smiling the hardest he ever had in his life while stating those words.
The younger Being could only sigh after hearing his words, he was speaking the truth. That sigh was the most emotion he had showed after the millions of eons playing this game without stop. He then looked at a singular soul piece off in the distance, 'This one is about to experience his fate as well, even after defying it for so long.' again, the emotionless being sighed.
"It appears the only one who defied me to an extent is finally meeting its end soon, how unfortunate, he appears to die a happy one." The older Being spoke with a bit of disdain on his face.
"Why not just give up at this point?" The older one asked, "We have been playing this game for quite some time, and I shall admit, you have got some wins on me as well, but your soul is growing weak now." He had spoke honestly.
"Your extentions are dying rapidly. I will admit, using your own soul to create a new being that are once again mortal to break free and help others break away from me as well was a decent idea. However, coming from the Unbeatable Being, using your soul was not such a wise move."
"Though," The older one spoke with suprise, "Each one of those souls always obtains an Unbeatable title is a little surprising."
It was then when a laugh escaped the Unbeatable Being's mouth.
That laugh shook most of the area in the Realm around them and cracked certain areas, though the area started to regrow and become stronger than before. Before the older Being could think or ask about the sudden laugh he felt a old primal instinct, something that only mortals and a few Gods felt throughout their life time, true fear. When he looked at the Unbeatable Being, he saw an extremely vicous smile that he had not shown in eons. That smile had been the sign of your death back in ancient times so many eons ago. The older Being felt no control of his breathing, as it became a bit rougher after seeing that smile.
"Me, give up against you? Do not make me laugh so hard" The Unbeatable Being was laughing whilst saying this, again, shaking the area around them for a couple miles and cracking even more areas before the areas once again regrew. "I would not have even been in this battle if you were more like your brother."
The older Being went into furious rage hearing his brother be brought up and spoke with a hateful and yelling tone, "My brother is weak, whilst I am strong. Why would I give up putting my great existence upon mortals and gods? they don't deserve to rise above their point in life in the first place!"
The Unbeatable Being couldn't help but sigh with a smile on his face. "Fate, oh Fate, I now completely remember why I did this battle eons ago. No wonder your brother, The Being of Destiny, has always been more loved than you ever have. You really should take after him you know." when he ended his sentence he could not help but smile a more vicious and devilish smile.
