The world went silent, humans showed no reaction and the animals seemed to realize that a monstrous beast was killed.
Not a single word was spoken, most of Jay's children died in battle or after it from blood loss. Alex stood and stared at the dome in front of him, speechless as to what has happened in the span of an hour.
"He's dead, he's really dead..." Alex didn't know how to feel about that revelation. "Alright, Let's hold a banquet and decide on the lands being divided later."
No one objected and the world wasn't as silent. It seemed that the world didn't know how to handle the death of its son. Storms flew around the dome, rain and thunderstorms continued to rain for a few days.
Everyone at the edge of the dome could feel as if the world was searching for its chosen son to help him get better, before finally vanishing.
That was the mark of his death truly being real. The world gave up searching and had chosen to not help anyone or anything else in the world that dared to kill Jay.
Before this happened, Jay's consciousness had awoken in the dome, 'Did I live?' He thought. "I said to let me die damn it!" He yelled though he noticed how the vibrations of his voice were different.
Jay proceeded to stand up and also noticed how light he felt. 'Strange.' after thinking that he turned to look at where he had died, his throne. When he turned all he saw was his dead body, radiating a satisfied aura with a calm smile on his face.
'So I truly died then.' He thought while looking around. He saw Athena, his A.I., cleaning his palace, preserving his body, and much more to prepare for her next master.
Jay soon tested what he was able to do in this new form and learned he could float and walk through objects.
'This is quite the experience.' Jay couldn't help but enjoy the experience of death and study every event possible.
'Though I don't really like the weakening of my soul, luckily it seems to be very slow. Hopefully, I can find a way to improve my strength instead.' Jay was deep in thought when he sensed the world going crazy while searching for him.
'Even in death, it refuses to stop helping me. Even now, I am still not able to study this event.' Jay sighed when he sensed the world give up only to increase its search in what Jay called, the dead world's realm.
'You never give up on helping me, huh?' He wasn't annoyed, actually, he was relieved seeing the world doing its best just to locate him and it did just that.
Jay felt as though the weakening process almost completely stopped and his condition improving. He sighed in relief seeing his condition going back to its peak, even if slowly.
Jay finally decided to float towards the edge of his dome, after making sure everything was in perfect shape and nothing was going wrong with the projects in the dome.
He got to the edge of the dome and felt a little bit of freedom. He took a breath and went past the dome and looked at the world, only a few days have passed by then.
Some of the borders changed and his army was guarding his dome. Home saw many dead that he presumed tried to get in and either died to the dome's defensive system or his army.
He enjoyed the sensation of leaving the dome and exploring before floating to the top of his dome to see the lands in full view. Suddenly, Jay felt a slightly dangerous sensation and lifted his hand to block whatever was causing it. He sensed pain spring from his right hand and arm but didn't bother to look.
"Even dead you are impressive, isn't that so sister?" An amused male voice spoke.
"Certainly so brother, Jay is quite strong, are you jealous of him?" An almost robotic voice chuckled after the man's question.
After their little interaction, Jay, after a few minutes, finally decided to see who were the ones that would dare attack him while he was enjoying the view.
Jay saw two tall figures, one male and one female. Both of them had dark armor, a veil of black vines covered the woman's face and a dark helmet with a few cracks covered the man's.
Although you couldn't see her so well, the woman was as pale as snow and was quite the beauty. The only thing that she needed was a smile.
The man had a huge hammer as a weapon that Jay was still blocking. The woman had a long and curved scythe.
Jay studied this mysterious duo for a while before moving his gaze to the lands around the dome once again
"It would appear that he has no interest in us brother," The sister spoke. "That is very much a surprise coming from this battle maniac." She stated in her robotic-like voice.
"It is definitely strange sister," The brother chimed in.
"Jay, allow me to introduce us siblings. I am Rei, the Grim Reaper of your world, though, I still am quite new since I came in around the time of your uprising. My sister here is the same as me, her name is Lolta."
Jay was somewhat listening but he started paying attention when he heard Rei was a new Grim Reaper, along with his sister.
"So," Jay started, "I assume you want to kill my soul completely? Hmm, or are you cleansing it for a rebirth? You might also be here to challenge me as well, is that it?" "I also never heard of a reaper that us we d a hammer.. though I've never met any." Jay bombarded the duo with questions, releasing his curiosity to the fullest.
"Ah, Well, to answer your question. We are here to cleanse your soul and let it reincarnate with no memories." Rei answered honestly.
"I see, so am I coming back to this world if I get cleansed or perhaps a different one? Maybe a different universe?" Jay asked with even more curiosity flowing out from him.
"That part isn't up to us." The sister spoke, "We are only here to cleanse the souls."
"I see, so there are different worlds. Well, I think I will be keeping my memories." Jay told the siblings.
The two appeared shocked for a few moments after Jay's answer.
"You do realize that we already took care of your sons and daughters, right? We even took Rond on and won. What makes you think we can't beat you?." The brother asked Jay with a tinge of curiosity.
"Fear." When Jay said that, the world turned cold and the siblings felt a shiver go up their spine. "That is the reason you haven't even struck now. You fear me and the power I hold."
What Jay declared seemed to hit the mark. None of the three figures moved, none of them spoke, and none of them attacked.
"You can act all high and mighty with 'Heaven and Earth' backing you, but you with still start to decay again." The brother scoffed,
"Trust my words, Unbeatable Demon, once you are weaker, we both will cleanse you with the thought of knowing how weak you have become." The sister declared with a tinge of emotion coming out.
"I will tell you this," she continued, "It takes one thousand years to be rebirthed into existence. The question is though, will we get you before then?"
After those final words, the sibling duo vanished leaving two dark petals, "Hmm, quite intriguing. I guess I will need to power up and stop the weakening process." After Jay's statement, he went on to explore other lands other than his Dome's borders while thinking on one specific thing she mentioned.
'Heaven and Earth... l heard that name before." Jay thought before continuing his blind search through the lands
