The Unbeatable Being and the Being of Fate were staring at each other after that little conflict no word was said, just intense feelings and stares at one another. The Unbeatable Being had his vicious smile while the Being of Fate had disdain and hate on his frowning face. No mortal, god, or even a weaker Being could be anywhere around these two, for the intensity of the two's auras would kill anything weak nearby.
After what appeared to be years, both Beings felt something change, the two snapped to the board to look at a soul piece. The soul piece in question was on the Unbeatable Being's side. It was the one the talked about earlier, In what seemed like seconds for them was years for mortals and days for gods. This is because time passes very different in the Realm of the Beings.
When they looked at the soul piece the Unbeatable Being spoke, "How intriguing," he ended that with a smile with no viciousness. He continued, "It seems I even underestimate my own soul at times."
The reason for him saying this was because the soul piece did die, yes, however it became ethereal! It also did not start from the beginning, it stayed in the same place!
Soul pieces work very strangely, some reincarnate after dying in the universe they started in or go to a different one. That will result in them restarting from the start of the board. Some completely disappear after they meet their end, meaning they will never come back, that results in the Unbeatable Being losing his power and some of his soul. Some have restarted over hundreds of time without disappearing, it has always been random.
Though this ethereal event can happen it was still surprising coming from a magic-less universe. Both beings knew that this piece was going to change the game. When the Being of Fate regained his composure he moved a bigger soul piece toward the ethereal piece.
"A strong piece for a newly born soul?" the Unbeatable Being questioned. "My soul piece is still roaming and not even in his new world yet you use a piece already." This time he spoke with a few laughs coming out of his mouth.
The Being of Fate had no words or funny remarks this time around. He only looked at the Being across form him with a stern expression and spoke, "You and I both know that this piece has always been different, After all, he is definitely one of the most 'Fate' defying ones." The look on his face was that of someone who has experienced centuries of sorrow.
"I don't see why you are so surprised, I've always done these moves when your soul pieces have gotten close to entering The Realm of the Beings, that's how you win and I can't accept that after all this time." The Being of Fate spoke with honesty.
"This soul piece has a great chance of going far on this board. It still is quite surprising that he hasn't broken his own 'Fate' though, after all, he has broken those around him of my chains." The Being of Fate went into his thoughts after saying this before adding, "I must ask you one thing Unbeatable Being."
The Unbeatable Being looked at the Being of Fate ready to answer, the Being of Fate then asked, "The Creator, he is our game master, on the day he said he would watch over and monitor this game of ours after me and you realized that our fighting would never end. I witnessed The Creator pull you aside and chat with you.... Did he tell you information or the future? I am quite curious of that day."
The Unbeatable Being's face slid back to his old emotionless self when he was asked that question and went deep into his thoughts. A tinge of annoyance appeared and went as fast as it showed up, "He had nothing of importance to this game to say to me." Saying this with his old emotionless face as he thought of the conversation so many eons ago.
----Over 800 thousand eons ago----
"You truly are as impressive as they have said, mortal who climb to The Realm of the Beings. How many of us Beings have you killed only after a couple centuries of being up here?" The younger Being of Fate laughed.
"Only those who have dared to get in the way of my climb to the top and you're the last one that is needed to die." The young looking man spoke before his weapon transformed into a small white orb the size of his palm. This young man is the now current Unbeatable Being.
"We both must realize by now that this battle will take forever, so how about a different kind of battle, oh Being of Fate?" the young Unbeatable Being spoke.
The Being of Fate looked at this, used to be, mortal with a questioning look and asked, "What kind of battle do you suppose then?"
The young Unbeatable Being snickered a bit and spoke "A battle of a board game, one where you use the Beings bound by your fate against my very own soul. I will spread my soul out across the multi-verses and have it reincarnate me across everywhere. You can even put them under your 'Fate'. I win when one of them can reach the Realm of the Beings without my help and break their own chains of your fate. You win if I lose every one of my soul pieces. The winner will kill the other without any kind of resistance, how about it?"
The Being of Fate looked at this mortal with a puzzled look, hinted with some disdain, and answered in a very cocky attitude, "It seems I will have to show you where you stand compared to those of us born of this place, Mortal! you may have climbed up here, but we are Beings! We were created to be the peak of the chain that 'The Creator' made himself! I must thank you though, for killing the hundreds of weak Beings that didn't deserve being a Being, so thank you."
As he stated his acceptance on the game both of the Beings felt a very powerful arua befall on them both. They both knew what and who this was, it was none other than The Creator itself! Before this arua was felt the Being of Fate was already on the ground and the newly arrived mortal, the younger Unbeatable Being, was resisting the best he could but when it fully arrived he fell to the ground, the aura was too powerful for him not to collapse. Even the ground could not handle the sheer presence of The Creator.
When he finally had his form appear the pressure only worsened and caused both of the Beings to feel their bones crack, muscles tear, minds unable to think and blood to flow from their orifices. The Realm itself shook around them. It was only for a few moments before The Creator made his aura almost null to the best of his ability to not let his children suffer.
It was then a very majestic voice that could end the wars between every Mortal, God, and Being who heard it and make them kneel in respect and loyalty. "It seems my two of most powerful of children have stopped their fighting for a game. I did hate to see my children fight, so I am very pleased and proud that you are solving it differently." Both of the Beings felt a strang sense of pride although the Being of Fate accepted that pride the young Unbeatable Being threw it away.
"For this game the young Unbeatable Being has made, and seeing as the Being of Fate accepted, I shall watch over this game and make sure no one breaks the rules created and announce when a winner has arrived. Also, while this game is ongoing there will be no fighting, fighting will result in an instant loss, is that understood?" Both Beings nodded at that statement. "Good, with that being said, '?!?#%', please follow me my mortal son or I should say, Unbeatable Being, follow me." after saying this The Creator went a few meters away from the duo and soon the young Unbeatable Being followed suite. The Being of Fate had no intention of listening in, seeing as he respected The Creator with everything he had.
After the young Unbeatable Being arrived next to The Creator he spoke, "My accidental child, I know why you wish to climb. I must tell you even if you are able to achieve what you wish, you will not be able to do what you truly wish. I have watched your life, even if I created you by accident, out of everything else I made. You are still my child and I want the best for you. So please, give up on this fantasy you chase ever so endlessly. It is not wise for you to do this game. Even you could fail and lose this game."
The Creator ended off with this and vanished from the Realm of the Beings leaving a small looking hut with the words "The Souls Game", and with his disappearance his majestic arua finally faded. After his departure the young Unbeatable Being then thought after three long hours, 'I will not abide by any restrictions "Father" I will climb beyond even you in the end and become "The Truly Unbeatable", you accidentally created me this way after all, and finally rescue the ones I lost on this due to my carelessness. "??????" I am sorry for who I am... but I have chosen this path... maybe you can become the light you always wished to be if I can...'
After that thought, he put on an emotionless and empty face and sent out his very own soul and split it up. After that, he sent those little pieces of it to every Mortal Realm and let them become a mortal. When je was done, a board appeared next to the Being of Fate, inside of the hut which was infinte on the inside, and billions upon billions of pieces filled with the young Unbeatable Being's existence appeared and same on the Being of Fate's side but instead of his own existence is was many different souls, with both Beings having their soul pieces placed on the board both Beings thought at the same time, 'Let the game begin!'
