Amorie Dragonheart is the crown Princess of the Wyvernborns. Her kingdom, Et Dracones, is on the brink of an all-out war with the Mefoy kingdom, Regnum Caelorum. The king demands an alliance through marriage; in exchange, he won't go to war with them. Amorie's mother, Queen Ell, and her father, King Henry, are discussing the terms of this alliance.

The kingdom Et Dracones, a small place in the highest mountains. They have a guard staff of about thirty to forty thousand. Which is four times smaller than Regnum Caelorum. The king and queen are worried that if they don't make the alliance their species will go extinct. But they also want Amorie to be on the same page and agree with herself so it's not forced upon her.

Regnum Caelorum is planning to go to war with Et Dracones because the King wishes to marry his son to princess Amorie. He knows that the Wyvernborns don't have enough resources to win a war. Therefore forcing them to make the alliance.
