This one fine morning, Gerald took Theodora to the part of the forest where she had never been before. Excitement buzzed within her as soon as he proposed the idea.
She was so excited that she didn't think twice before sending Bertha to Mr Collins to inform him that she was not going to attend the lessons today to which the old man didn't mind at all.
Bertha looked displeased by that idea, but what else she could do other than fulfilling her mistress's order?!
Once Bertha left, Gerald took Theodora to the part of the forest where not many people liked to go. There were rumours about the place that made it more intriguing for Theodora.
"Gerald, have been here before?" She asked while carefully walking on the uneven forest ground.
The stillness and the silence made the hair on her body stand up, but she was not afraid because of Gerald. She knew that he would protect her with his life and thus she had nothing to be scared of.
