As Eissa lead Will out of the fortress, he noticed that it was seemingly a lot smaller than he thought it would be, but then he figured that this was probably because she was there alone and there couldn't be much use for a large fortress. Instead, it merely had a few rooms and a few halls in it, and it was otherwise relatively simple.
If he could see it, he would also notice that it was entirely made of ice and that the ice seemed to be permanently frozen as if by some magical power. But all of the cold aura had come from the item which Eissa had put in her spacial ring, and he could not tell that it was made of ice.
As he left, he noticed that all around the fortress, there were multiple powerful auras strong enough to make him shiver from far away, but he knew that Eissa would likely not let anything happen to him. But what he did not expect was that the next moment, Eissa said "don't resist," after which an indescribable power swept out from her and covered Will, sweeping him with her. He had never moved so fast in his life, and he could not help being astonished at her speed.
A couple days later, she stopped and put Will down, simply saying, "I'm tired and need to rest."
Will was not surprised because he had heard that no matter how powerful one was, they had limited stamina and could only go so long without sleep or rest. He was, of course, an exception to this, but it did not mean that he didn't have limited stamina himself. It simply meant he didn't need to sleep or eat to keep up his stamina.
Since Eissa had decided to take a break to sleep, Will decided to cultivate in the meantime. It had been far too long since he had cultivated and he had much more experience and felt that he might be able to make some progress.
Soon, the air started to fill with a red mist as well as a pearl mist, which formed into his cultivation helix, going into his body. The difference was that now, there were many many more helixes as compared to before. As such, it was obviously much faster to cultivate and he made major progress in one night. He felt that he might be ready to make a breakthrough with a few more days of cultivation.
Eissa woke up to see clouds of pearl and red qi forming into helixes and going into Will's body for cultivation. When she saw this, she finally realized that something was off about him. After all, all the things that she had seen before could be said to be because of a bloodline, but now he had qi that was outside the standard white qi and two of them at that!! She was more experienced than the people in Scorching Sun kingdom, so she knew that there were ways to get special qis for cultivation, but she had never expected that he would get those qis only by having a bloodline.
At this moment, she finally realized just how truly unusual Will was. However, this only meant that she had found an even better genius. Such a genius was meant to reach far greater heights than her. If she were to befriend such a genius, how many limitless benefits would it bring? She could not help getting happy again, although she still maintained her cold demeanor.
But the moment that she got happy, Will opened his eyes and looked at her with a smile. This smile was warm and contained not only a perfect calmness, but also an unlimited hope for the future. She could not help but feel those emotions when she saw the smile, but it was at this moment that she finally realized that not only had she not alerted Will that she was awake, she did not make a sound, and Will was cultivating, which should have diverted all his attention. How did he realize he was awake?
Then Will simply closed his eyes again and seemed to be in harmony with the universe around him. This was the meditative state which he had discovered in the Scorching Sun kingdom. He seemed to be in harmony with everything around him, and the perfect calmness that he possessed spread out to the area surrounding him and made everything calm as if nothing in the world could move it. This naturally included Eissa, who had seen the meditative state. She could not help being even further astonished. However, she was less surprised than she thought she would be. Perhaps it was because she was starting to get used to the surprises that Will brought her.
She already knew that he did not need to eat because his mouth had been sealed by the ruby blood for six months and she had been unable to feed him, leading to her learning that he didn't need food at all. Hence, she did not offer any food to him when he saw that she was awake.
After eating some food, Eissa put the remainders in the spacial ring and was prepared to wake up Will from his meditative state, but the moment that she finished eating, she saw that Will had already stood up and was waiting on the side for her to start their journey again.
Three days later, they finally reached their destination. It was a large mountain enshrouded in mist. This mist served as a shield and protected the mountain. Not only did it defend the mountain, it also contained an intense illusion in it that would send away anyone who were to go into the mountain without being admitted in by the sect.
Inside the mist and on the mountain, there resided the snow moon sect, which was merely a small sect. In comparison, however, to the Black Iron Sect or the Shadow Devil kingdom, it was many time stronger. However, the Black Iron Sect and the Shadow Devil kingdom were truly pitiful compared to the rest of the world. They were frogs at the bottom of the well, and they died at the bottom of the well never seeing the sky. Because of this, they thought they were the top of the world, but they were in reality extremely pitiful. To the rest of the world, a cultivator would have to be at least at the peak of the spirit realm by age twelve to be considered a talent, let alone a genius. To be considered a talent, they would reach at least the fifth level of the silver core realm by age thirty. For places like the Shadow Devil kingdom, to reach the fifth level of the silver core realm by age thirty would be an unparalleled genius, but here it was only average.
To be above the silver core realm would qualify to be an elder of the sect. Eissa was an exception from that as she was a once in a millennium genius that rarely showed up. As such, she was a core disciple of the sect and their prized possession. She had even had the fortress ice palace built for her as a place to cultivate. While she was there, she would also watch out for potential disciples of the sect to keep her entertained in her years there. This was how she had spotted Will, after all.
Going towards the mountain, Eissa arrived before an entrance that cut through the fog. At the front, there were guards. However, the moment that the guards saw Eissa, they quickly bowed, then they didn't pay any mind to Will who was next to her. After all, no matter who she brought back to the sect, it would always be either a talent or an important guest, so they naturally let him pass through with her.
Will understood Eissa's position well as she had explained it to him on their way here. She was the number one genius of the sect and was spoilt by them. They had even built her the ice palace that resided in the mirage forest. They had even hired a formations master to make sure that there was a formation that prevented anyone above the silver core realm from entering the forest and bothering her.
As Will passed through the gap in the fog, because he could sense emotions, he could clearly sense the hyper realistic emotions that came from the illusions. It seemed so real that it scared him. He tried not to pay any attention to this anymore and instead tried to focus on himself and Eissa beside him. As Eissa did not know that he could sense emotions, she did not know that the illusions could actually partially affect him even though he was in a gap in the fog. But he maintained his calm face, so she did not realize. However, even if she did, there was nothing she could do as the illusion formation required a disciple token in order to not be attacked by it. Even if one was in the gap going into the city, they would be partially affected.
However, they were only in the tunnel through the illusion formation for a minute before they came out and saw the sect before them. The whole sect seemed to be covered in freshly fallen snow and it seemed frigid. But no one there seemed to be in discomfort or cold in the slightest.
However, Will could not see any of this, nor could he sense it as it was out of his sensory range. As such, he did not know that they already arrived. However, as they approached the sect, he finally sensed some of the cultivators there and noticed that the majority of them were in the silver core realm. It should be known that where he came from, any silver core realm would be treated well, but with a casual scan, one could sense that there were at least one hundred silver core realm cultivators just in the outskirts of the sect alone, let alone in the center region that he could not yet sense.
He was obviously excited, but he remained calm on the outside, like a stone in the face of winter, unmoving.
However, the cultivators of the sect were not like him. They could not keep calm when they saw the number one genius of the sect walking in a blind boy at the first thread of the spirit realm personally. They could not see his wings because he had gotten a cloak at a kingdom on the way to the sect and had covered them up again.
Suddenly, an arrogant man at the third level of the silver core realm walked over, with an arrogant expression saying, "who is this piece of trash?" making no attempt to hide the disdain in his voice as it reverberated through the surroundings. It was obvious that this man was jealous of Will for getting to walk next to the genius of the sect and wanted to embarrass him..
