Chapter 47 - - Underestimation

"Who is this piece of trash?" A voice filled with unparalleled arrogance rang through the whole area, reverberating a few times before it finally settled. This voice came from a arrogant young man at the third level of the silver core realm. It was obvious that he was jealous at this moment of the boy who was standing in front of him.

The blind boy standing in front of him was Will, who at this moment, was standing next to the number one genius of the Snow Moon sect, Eissa. This was why the boy was so jealous. He was actually younger than Will, but he was more than an entire realm above him. Obviously, he was jealous that such a piece of trash could stand next to the number one genius of the sect and even be brought in by her personally. However, he had no clue of the bloodline which Will had possessed or the fact that he had really only been truly cultivating for just over nine months, but if one actually counted the amount of time he spent cultivating, it would only amount to about two months. To reach the spirit realm in only two months time which was only slightly slower than Eissa, who had taken one and a half months to reach the spirit realm.

Such talent was something that the young man could obviously not compare to.

In response to the boy's remark, Will simply turned his head towards him, seeming to look at him even though he was blind. As the boy's eyes met Will's, he felt and unprecedented sense of danger and terror rise from the bottom of his heart. It seemed as if it was a predator looking at its prey, even though the boy was more than an entire realm above Will. However, even though he felt this instinctual fear, he paid it no mind as he was confident that he was stronger than Will, who was more than an entire realm below him. After all, even the strongest spirit realm in the entire sect could only evenly match with an average first level silver core realm, let alone a third level silver core realm.

The foundational realm and the spirit realm were both considered the very beginning of cultivation and was commonly called the foundation of cultivation because almost anyone in the world could reach the peak of the spirit realm, and if they couldn't, then they would not go down the path of cultivation.

As such, the silver core was sometimes referred to as the first realm of cultivation and those under it would be considered to be common people. To the boy standing there arrogantly, he considered Will to be a common person. As such, even though he felt the sense of danger from him, he did not pay it any mind because in his mind he was a common person and not even comparable to the worst person in the Snow Moon sect.

After this, Will turned his gaze away from the arrogant boy and continued to walk past him as if he heard nothing. Such a reaction obviously angered the arrogant boy, and he moved to block Will from moving past him. However, before the boy could even get close to blocking Will, an indescribable power stopped him dead in his tracks. He felt it was difficult to even move under such pressure, let alone block Will's path. He was terrified, because it was at this moment which he knew he had truly offended Eissa, who was the number one genius of the sect and also above the silver core realm and comparable to a sect elder in strength, or possibly even stronger.

Will and Eissa continued to walk past him without paying attention, and the moment they were gone, the pressure disappeared and the previously arrogant boy ran away to his home to avoid the shame of being held back by the number one genius of the sect. After all, no one wanted to offend Eissa, but everyone at the scene wanted to ask who Will was, but this boy was extremely arrogant and even called him a piece of trash without considering that he was personally brought in by Eissa. Of course he was afraid of the consequences, but he never thought that Eissa would interfere with matters involving a nonentity only at the first thread of the spirit realm, even if she had brought him in personally. After all, in his mind, she was just bringing him here to show him just how vast the world was and that he was nothing but an ant in the face of it. After all, this would sometimes happen and have the elders bring back someone weak stirring up trouble to make them more compliant.

However, he was obviously wrong, and he would bring shame upon himself from it for a long time to come because he was wrong.

However, Will and Eissa did not care about this, and they simply continued to walk past the boy and into the heart of the sect. After all, it was simply a young boy who got jealous, and there was no reason to overreact about it.

As they made their way through, many people looked at Will in confusion, but none of them had the guts to ask.

Soon, Eissa entered a building that was in the center of the mountain that the Snow Moon Sect sat on. Will, of course, followed her. The moment that he entered the room, he could feel a stillness in the air, as if nothing was there, but there was suddenly loud laughter that rang out.

"Haha, you're finally back!!!! How did it go???" an old man's voice rang out. This sudden voice slightly scared Will because he could previously not sense the existence of the old man, but when he laughed, he suddenly appeared in his senses. It was as if the man was air suddenly turning into steel; one moment you could not see it, but the next it was plainly in front of you.

Such an ability terrified Will because that meant that there were things which he could not sense. Things that could pose danger to him. As he was blind, he would not be able to see those dangers and would only be able to rely on his instinct to survive.

Then, the next moment, Eissa spoke, saying "Sadly, I did not break through. However, I found something interesting."

Then, she simply gestured towards Will, who was still thinking about how the man had simply appeared in his senses. He, of course, did not notice the gesture, but the old man did and looked at him.

The moment the old man laid his eyes on Will, he seemed to sense it and looked directly into the old man's eyes. Despite being blind, the old man could see that Will's eyes contained a profound depth to them that many old monsters could never have.

What the old man saw at that time was a boy only fifteen years old, but he had a state of mind stronger than any he had ever seen, and even though he was blind, he still looked him in the eyes directly. This alone impressed the old man, but the next moment, he was even more surprised when Eissa spoke. "Show him,"

The next moment, Will snapped back to reality and quickly took off the cloak, revealing his pearl white wings with red tips, looking as if they had been dipped into blood at the ends. Will had spread his wings wide open, showing every detail of them to the old man.

Looking at the wings, the old man was simply astonished, but it was then that he finally realized that this was not the extent of what Will would show him, because the next moment, without any warning, Will flapped his wings and instantly appeared near the roof of the room. He was in a very massive room that had plenty of room to fly in, so he did not have to worry about space.

When he saw Will flying, he was even further astonished, and he could not help looking at Eissa beside him, but all he saw when he looked at her was her cold face with barely any expression. But he expected such. No one could ever make her change her expression, and that was just how she was. The old man was no exception.

Suddenly, Will landed on the ground, once again looking at the old man. His wings were now tucked behind his back again and he had already put the cloak back over them. He looked just like a normal person aside from his eyes and hair.
