As Will was walking through the room, he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks.
All around him, he could sense a feeling of fear, along with an intense feeling of malevolence.
This feeling gave him chills. He had felt this same feeling before, when he was nearly killed by prince James. This was a fear that came from fearing for your life. A fear that came from the bottom of your soul.
As for the malevolent presence, it was something that only came from something evil. Something terrifying.
Slowly, Will stopped moving and listened. He soon heard the near silent sound of panicked breathing, accompanied by the sound of the wooden floor slightly shifting. These sounds were close, but not close enough to be caused by the same thing. He quickly found out that someone else was in the room, along with Kessia.
Within a couple seconds, the fear that Will sensed abruptly became much stronger, as did the trembling and panicking breathing that he heard from the corner.
Suddenly, he noticed that there was a faint feeling of danger coming from behind him. However, he still did not move. As this feeling of danger increased, Will was stuck in a predicament.
He was blind, so he could not tell where the intruders were, or even if they were human or not. However, he could clearly sense that Kessia was terrified, and that something was sneaking up behind him.
If he made the wrong move, Kessia could die, but if he didn't move, he would likely die.
At this moment, he heard a ghastly howl of wind, coming through the broken windows. It sounded like the screeches of ghosts, drowned in a raging river of blood.
This wind brought with it a feeling of death and fear, a spine-chilling and eerie silence. This silence was only broken by the sound of Kessia's ragged and trembling breath.
As the feeling of danger increased to an ever higher amount, Will suddenly made his move, breaking the deathly silence.
The moment Will made his move, a shrill cry of terror escaped from Kessia's mouth.
