Kedians P.O.V
El Laughed and Kedian couldn't help but smile.
"I don't know whats worse, that you said you'd kill my dad or the fact that when you did I could only think about how much tickets would sell for?" Kedian turned to look at her.
"What? Why the fuck would you sell tickets to your own dad's murder?" He didn't understand why he was laughing with her. "Fuck El. And I thought I was fucked in the head." She was gasping for breath now.
"Then again. I do know some one who could take some basic information and give you a ball park estimate." She rolled from the seat to the floor. "The fuck El. For the last time, please put your seat belt on. Seriously, just because I have fast reflexes doesn't mean I can't wreck a car."
"Okay, okay, but I'm stuck." She giggled.
"El at this point I'm not joking. If we get in a wreck you will not survive it. So please get back in your seat and put on your seat belt."
"I'm not joking either. I'm seriously stuck."
"Oh. Well. Shit." He tried not to laugh. A sligh idea struck him as he glanced down at her. Els feet were on the seat and he could see how his sweat shirt had ridden up to her stomach. "I guess you're stuck down there till we get to Cadrian's office." He reached over and started to untie one of her shoes.
"What the fuck are you doing? Help!" He pulled the shoe off of her foot and flung it into the back seat.
"I am helping." He laughed as he pulled off her sock and added it to the objects in his back seat.
"Taking off my socks and shoes and throwing them in the back is not helping." She was laughing again as he started to untie her other shoe.
"Really. Are you sure?" Her other shoe joined its mate in the back seat and now he was pulling at her sock while she kicked and squealed with laughter. When he finally got it off he threw it in the back as well. "This little piggy went to market." He wiggled her big toe as he began the nursery rhyme. she squealed and jerked her foot out of is hand.
"Pull over! Pull over!" She squeaked. He did pull over and, putting the car in park, jumped out and ran around to her side as she tried to free herself. He pulled the door open and laughed even harder.
"How the fuck El?" He said as he wiped tears from his eyes. "That shouldn't even be physically possible! You are so talented that you defy physics." He slumped to the sidewalk as he laughed.
"Excuse me sir, is everything okay?" Said an officer as he walked up.
"Oh yeah, officer my wife here just has a bad habit of not wearing a seat belt and it bit her in the butt this time." He motioned at El in the car. "I don't even know how she managed to get her self stuck like that."
"El? Are you okay? Do you need help?" She finally managed to free herself and looked at the officer.
"Officer Hughes! It's been awhile. Is my dad in jail again?" She smiled at him.
"Yes. But let's talk about you. Is he holding you against your will? Where are Erza and Nathaniel? You never get up this early."
"No I am not being held against my will. At home I assume. And I have a doctors appointment at eleven. Who is his lawyer?"
"Oh. Um. I don't really know."
"Have you seen Marie lately?"
"She evaded arrest and has a warrant now. If I see her I will let you know." El sighed and shook her head.
"Sounds about right." She smiled sadly at him. "Don't bother contacting me if you get her. If she shows up at the house I will text you. Is your number still the same?" She Pulled her phone from her purse and opened the contacts.
"Yeah. Out of curiosity, how do I come up in your phone?"
"That one cop guy." El said flatly.
"Seriously." He seemed annoyed by this information.
"Don't knock it. Officer Drawdel comes up as limptard."
"Okay what about Officer Fensel?"
"That one cunt." She smiled sweetly and Kedian could tell that it was her customer service smile.
"Renthez?"
"That other cunt."
"Wow you are brutal. Dude I feel so sorry for you. Are you okay? Like do you need help?"
"How the fuck do you go from 'ma'am are you being held against your will' to 'sir do you need help'?" Kedian chuckled.
"Well actually it's not that hard to do."
"Well, if you must know, she did taze me once. In the dick."
"I only did that because you grabbed me from behind!" El said defensively.
"El! You can't go around tazing people in the dick." Officer Hughes paused and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I will take 'things I never thought I would say' for 800 alex." He muttered.
"Yeah. Well I did grab her shoulder and didn't announce that it was me so I'm just glad it wasn't a loaded gun. We would be having a much different conversation right about now. El we should get going." Kedian and El said goodbye to Officer Hughes and drove away.
They pulled up to the neat office building. and climbed out of the car. The door had neat decorative letters that read 'DOCTOR C. HOWL OFFICE OF GYNOCOLGY. YOUR HEALTH IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY.' This was the first time Kedian had ever seen Cadrian's practice. Cadrian had made it clear that his place of work needed to not become a pack hang out. He said that it was for the privacy of his patients.
'Will El be comfortable here?' Senral had growled and snarled at Kedian all night as they had gone to his cabin after his fight with El. Thinking back on the last two weeks Kedian realized that Senral was no longer telling him to fuck El.
"Enson's last name is Howl?" She asked in amazement.
"Yeah. So what?" He couldn't help but wonder why she was asking now.
"It's kinda funny is all." El giggled as they stepped into the the waiting room.
"How so?" Kedian asked. "Blood for an ultrasound at eleven." He said to the receptionist behind the desk.
"Sir this is a gynecologist office. We don't do men's health here." Kedian could tell that El was extremely annoyed by the woman's voice. If he had to guess he would say she wanted to sudo slam her through the desk. He couldn't blame her as this bitch sounded stuck up. A perfect prep girl that never grew out of the high-school mentality. She reminded him of the cheerleaders that had tried, and failed, to sleep with him and Keskian back in the day. Back than he had had Dresca. She had been his all. Thinking of her now brought a pang of guilt.
"Elanor Blood. I'm here for my eleven o'clock appointment." El said loudly to the receptionist as she stood on her tip toes to see over the counter and he had to blink a couple of times before he remembered that this was El and not Dresca. He sighed and let her fight this battle herself because he knew that was what she wanted. Dresca would have slunk into a corner and tried to make herself as small as possible. It amazed him how different El was to her.
"Ahe. As if. Why don't you go to the ob in hesti-"
"You better start typing it in or I tell Dr. Howl how exactly you lost your job at the bar." El said sweetly, her customer service smile plastered on her face.
"Yeah right! You don't even know Dr. Howl!" This bitch was testing his patience and self control. Just then Cadrian stepped through a door behind Sarah. He looked pissed. Sarah didn't even notice.
"Oh I know him alright. He's a good friend of mine after all. Wouldn't you agree, Cadrian?"
"Sarah I made the appointment personal." Cadrian was not pleased with her. Sarah looked like he had just shoved mistletoe berries down her throat and El was trying not to laugh. Cadrian handed her a tablet and asked her to fill out the medical history segment at least. "Sarah can I speak to you in my office please."
"Just let me-"
"Now!" He growled at her. Kedian lead El over to the seating area. A disgusting smell lingering in the air.
"Ha! She's aroused. Do you think she knows?" Kedian was very amused by the hole that Sarah had dug herself into.
"If she did she wouldn'tve flashed me that smug smile."
"That piece of shit has nothing to be smug about." Kedian growled and El sat silently. She must have agreed with him.
