Finally, I have accomplished my mission of convincing the Princess to go to this trip that her mother wants her to go to. I know very well that I will be going with the. trip with Princess Cindy, oh no, what if I don't go with her. It will be totally unfair should they do that to me. My thoughts interfered upon when the Princess walked in. "So we will be going to a nice country or township," she said and I groaned and shook my head. "Look here Princess Cindy, we are not going anywhere unless you prove to me that you are eligible for this," I said and she shrugged. And I continued, "So now, I believe that you are ready for my top five interviews, actually maybe tasks will be good for it. Number one; You have to prove to me that you ain't afraid, so the task is you'll walk to the river behind the palace and walk back with no one following you. Don't even try to fool me, I've got eyes on you. Number two; You have to show me how well you can manage yourself, so you will take care of your bathing and dressing up without any maid or anyone helping you. Easy right. After the day two too you must continue to dress up yourself. I know it's very easy, so you better change that kind of face you have made. Number three; You have to show me how well you can relate with others, so we go down to town and you greet the people there. Number four; You have to show me how well you care for your subjects. One of the guards is sick so you'll visit him in his house with a nurse and some gifts. Number five; You have to show me how good a cook you are, so you will cook for yourself your favourite food. Remember while doing these tasks for five days, you must smile always and encourage those who are sad, sympathize with them, don't cry with them. Don't worry about your parents, they know about what you are going to do." So the task started from the next day, I was looking through the window, looking at the Princess walking to the river side. It was really nice, she walked confidentiality to the river side and even bend and fetched some of the water. I smiled at her victory, she came back as she went and was happy that she had completed the first task successfully. We wrote the tasks and pasted them on the wall so as this task has been completed, we went to tick it, she gave me a high five. The next day was the day, she had to bath without any help from anyone. I woke up and sat on the bed to see how well she can manage herself. She collected everything that she needed and placed them beside the bathtub. She then entered the bathtub and began to bath but unfortunately, she forgot her towel which was on her bed so she pleaded,"Dear Miss Valerie Kay, can you please pass me my towel on my bed?." "Do you realize it is a challenge, no one is supposed to help you, you must do it all by yourself dear," I said and she screamed. She then took her big towel, tied it around her body and came out to take it, after taking it, because,she stepped in the room with water, she slipped and fell off. She screamed and I started to laugh, it was really funny. I helped her up, she went back to the bathroom and I ordered some maids to bring in ice cubes and a clean towel. The five days journey was going to be very exciting because the Princess is going to get all these stuffs a difficult one of course. She cleaned herself up and came out in her bathroom cloth to sit on the chair in front of her dressing mirror. The maid brought in the ice cubes and a clean towel, I poured the ice cubes into the towel and placed it on her forehead. "What are you doing with that?"she asked me in wonder. I replied," Sorry dear, it's just that, because you have hit your head so hard on the floor while trying hard to prove to me how responsible you are but unfortunately you fell flat on the floor." I giggled and she rolled her eyes. "But Miss Valerie Kay, you cannot deny the fact that, you care so much for me,"she whispered and we both chuckled. "Princess Cindy, do you know that I love you so much and you live without me," I ranted and she rolled her eyes again. After I finished treating her wounds I told her,"It is okay for a Princess to hurt herself Cindy!" She yelled out my name and tried to follow me, I entered the bathroom and before she could enter, I closed the door, unfortunately, she could control her stop early and she hit her head on the door and fell down. "Sorry Princess Cindy but I guess the ice cubes and towel are still on your dressing table,"I screamed out to her and she screamed back at me,"I will kill you when you are out of there Valerie Kay." I was giggling but I couldn't control my laugher so I laughed out loud. I knew that, Princess Cindy was really pissed off but I cared less. I dived into the lukewarm water, its gentleness laid over my body and I felt like a free person. Few minutes later, I cleaned my body and was getting ready to go and get dressed. It was such a surprise to me that I was no longer hearing the noise of Princess Cindy doing anything so I was really worried but when I stepped out, I felt a soft hit on my back, when I turned again, it hit my face and I yelled out,"What the fuck are you doing Cindy don't…" But before I could finish talking, the creature I saw in from me placed into astonishment. The Princess was looking really horrible, I then dragged her to the dressing table and I tried to correct the whole thing. "What are trying to do to perfectly made makeup?"she asked in anxiousness. "You call this perfectly made makeup? Drivers will start skidding off the road because of this, dear Princess Cindy,"I replied her. I asked her to watch me and whatever I do and keep it inside her because from now on nobody's going to dress her. I began to dress while I told her to do whatever I do. She did and I took a picture of her, I asked her to check the difference between the two pictures and even the blind would identify that the second one was better, actually the best.
We totally forgot about breakfast that morning because of how much fun we were having there. We were playing like little kids until afternoon, the King and Queen were so much worried about us because we didn't even get out the whole day, when they barged into the room, they saw the both of us playing with the pillows. The King and Queen could not believe that we were actually playing with the pillows, it wasn't surprising but became more surprising when they both joined us for the play. For about thirty minutes we were playing the pillow fight game. We all got so tired that, we couldn't play the game any longer, in my tiredness I asked,"I never knew that His Majesty could be this jovial, I thought you were this tough person that is not easy to get along with." He said softly,"Sometimes, I have to make sure my family is safe and happy and I'm happy Miss Valerie Kay that you have made that easier for me to do." We all said the 'Awwwh' word. I was so hungry which I could not control any longer so I said,"So now who's hungry?"
We all went downstairs to have our breakfast. It was quite shocking that the whole day, I didn't see Bryant but I was too shy of asking of him so I just overlooked it. We went to have our breakfast, went for a walk and went back to our room to sleep after a long day.
The next day, it was time for the Princess to pay a Royal visit to the town. This time, the Princess had taken her bath and dressed up without any mistake, except that she fell down again as a result of the water she used to step up in the room. I only showed her the essence of the bathroom mat in front of the the bathtub. I also took my bath but before I could dress up, I saw that she was suffering with doing her hair, so I quickly dressed up, went to sit beside her and asked her to watch me as I do my own. She watched me and we did it perfectly, as usual, she gave me a high five. We went downstairs for our breakfast, after that, we went out, to my surprise, there was a Royal Carriage designed in hot pink, we bade the King and Queen goodbye and went to the Royal Carriage but before we I could enter, I asked,"Princess Cindy, are you going there without taking anything along? You will meet your subjects without anything?" "Do not worry Valerie Kay, I have taken some Elamite hats, cups and some other accessories. The Royal Cook will bring some magical cupcakes, an hour before I finish my journey,"she said confidentially. With dismay I said,"But don't you think you we should take some along? Will you go round the town two times? Because you'll share these accessories before you go round to share the cupcakes." "Good idea Valerie Kay," she remarked and continued,"(TURNS TO A MAID STANDING NEAR THE CARRIAGE) please go and tell the Royal Cook to send me, two hundred pieces of cupcakes." The maid left and I asked,"Why did you send for two hundred pieces Cindy." She smiled and brought out a piece of paper and answered, "According to the chief commander, there are a total of two hundred children in this town and today is a holiday so they will all be in the house." I nodded my head, few minutes later, the maid came in with a beautiful hot pink colour bag and placed it at the back of the Royal Carriage. We entered the carriage together with the maids and we left. We got to the town, it was really beautiful. I used this as a golden opportunity to see the beautiful town of Elamite which most people spoke about in school. Princess Cindy talked about the town to me and I found it really interesting. We got to our first stop, a football park, I actually knew by looking through the window. "Why is our first stop a football park?"I asked anxiously. She smiled and answered,"As I have already told you Miss Valerie Kay, today is a holiday in Elamite and most children go to these recreational centers to celebrate it. We got down and one kid shouted,"Look! Princess Cindy is here." Upon hearing this, all the children on the park, ran to the carriage. They were all shouting as we distributed the accessories and the cupcakes to them. The Princess said a few words and bade them goodbye.
The next stop was the baseball field. I counted the children and realized that they fifty in number. She shared the accessories, the cupcakes and we left. The last stop was the theatre, there, we shared forty-nine accessories and cupcakes. There was one child who did not get this offer, so there was a cupcake and a cup left in the bag. We need to find this kid by all means.
