[Nicholas's POV]
I could not believe it, I had finally found Dean. I had been searching for him for years now, and there he is. Thanks to the Wi-Fi thief, I was able to meet Dean.
One problem had been solved but a lot had to be solved. What was I going to do with Hilda now. I could tell that she had a crush on me right from the first day I saw her. The way she looks at me and the way she talks to me something is up.
The poor girl had asked me on a date. I had no intentions of using or playing her, but how do I tell her that, I don't want to hurt one more girl in my life. What can I do she is all over me. Maybe I can help her find a boyfriend, other than me.
Yesterday was our first date, I tried to control her drinking or else she was going to get drunk and invite me to her place and God knows what was going to happen there.
"So your friend decided not to show up." I said mockingly. Hilda looked at me and smiled. Then she sipped her drink and slowly swallowed it. I did not want to make her uncomfortable so I was trying to sound cool.
"Oh look there he is, his here. I knew he would show up." She said pointing out to Dean who had was seated at the corner of the bar with a couple of dudes.
"Hey Dean, Over here!" She shouted and waved at him. She was loud enough for Dean to hear her so he got up and walked straight to us.
"Hilda," he said.
"Hi Dean." She greeted him.
Dean and Hilda talked for some time about their college memories. I kept quite and watched them talk. I observed a lot of things. Dean's voice had not changed, though most of his physical features had changed I could now recognize him. Feeling completely ignored, I cleared my throat the draw their attention.
"Oh I'm sorry Nick. Dean this is Nicholas." She introduced me to Dean.
"Hello Nick," he said.
"Its Nicholas." I corrected him. He didn't have the right to call me Nick, only my friends had.
"Oh I'm sorry, Nicholas. Wait your name sounds familiar, have we ever met before?"
"No… I'm sure my name is just popular." I joked. Maybe you knew me maybe not, you will soon find out dear, I said to myself as I looked into Nicholas face.
"By the way, I think you lost this." I said as I handed him his wallet. He was happy that I had found his wallet.
"Oh I thought my life was over, Thanks Nick, I mean Nicholas, you are such a life saver." He thanked.
Well maybe not, cause right now I'm going to ruin yours. Get ready Dean, I thought to myself as I brightly smiled at him.
"Give me your account number. You deserve to be paid. I'm going to transfer your reward into your bank account." He offered.
"That's not require…." Said Hilda but I shut her before she could not finish her statement.
"Yeah sure, thanks. I will give you my number instead, we are going to talk about this later." I gave both Hilda and Dean my number
"I'm sorry guys I have to go." I said getting up and preparing for my leave, leaving the two of them together. I wanted to go home on work on m plan.
On my way out I bumped into her guy whose chest crushed into my mine. I groaned as he caught me, before I fell. I looked up at his face, it was the guy I danced with.
We walked out of the bar together, chatting. "I like your moves" he said.
"Oh come on, thanks. You weren't bad?" I said direction the compliment back to him.
I don't know how it happened, things were happening very fast. I don't know what was wrong with me, I was making out with a stranger, in the middle of the street. Later I ended up in his apartment, one night stand, they call it.
I woke up and I was shocked after I opened my eyes the next morning. Firstly the stranger scent meant something was not alright. Then the bed, that was not my bed. Finally I looked on the other side of the bed. Who is this guy again? Oh Andreas. The guy I met the bar.
I got up and set on the bed thinking about the mess I had created. As I was deep in my thoughts, Andreas phone rang and the noise shook me out of my thoughts and brought me back to the messed up situation.
It was very awkward I had never done anything like this with a stranger, anyways they say everything has got its first time. I picked up his cell phone, and it looked like he was fast asleep, Gina was calling. Who was Gina, I wondered as I answered the call instead of ignoring it, maybe she wanted to tell him something special.
"Hey baby. I have great news to tell you." She spoke.
"Hey who is are you, some guy left his phone at the bar yesterday." I lied.
"I'm Gina his girlfriend, and who are you?" She replied.
"I'm the bartender." I said as I quickly hung up, realizing what I had done. He had a girlfriend, I was confused, what was going on?
