Chapter eight
It was a very long time since I spoke to Andreas or saw him. After all that happened I don't think it was right for me to keep on meeting him. I wished him all the best in his relationship with Gina. They looked good together, that made me jealous and I didn't want to think about him.
I was back to work the following day after Andreas had lied to my boss. Everyone was asking me how I have been they were all concerned about me, I'm glad. I lied to them and told them it was just an allergy.
I cleaned a few tables, delivered people orders and collected tips. The month was about to end, and soon rent was going to be due. I was saving enough money for paying rent, I did not want to have any issues with my landlord as we were in good terns. I always paid my rent on time.
"Can I get your order sir."
"Two steak pies and two cappuccinos." Replied the customer, I raised my gaze up to his face as his voice sounded familiar. It was Dean, it looked like he loved this place.
"Dean." I said.
"Hi Nicholas." He greeted. I smiled at him, he looked down and said, "I was thinking if calling you, we have not discussed your payment."
"Oh, I will get back to you, I need to go," I said after another customer from a different table snapped his fingers.
"Oh its you," I said smiling taking a seat next Hilda. She finished her sentence she was typing then looked back at me, I was staring at her, studying her.
"Hey Nick, can you get me a cupcake and," she looked at me, she wanted my suggestion. Was she flirting with me, just like that?
"Just get any beverage." I suggested "Tea," I specified.
"Oh yeah, right. With milk," I said as I took down her order. She kept glaring at me, as if she was looking at someone new. Am I that hot? I should take a lot at myself closely at the mirror.
"I just took as short break." I said as I sat on Dean's table. I took out my phone, to check my emails. I did want to waste all my time on emails, besides it seemed like Dean was about to say something.
"Nicholas. I wanted to say thank you. I don't know what I would have done without these files." He spoke, showing gratitude. How important was that bunch of papers that would get someone to stalk me.
Well this is your chance Nick, Don't ruin it! "I have not decided yet." I said as my lips stretched to shape a naughty smile.
"What do you mean?" He spoke in a disturbed voice. He was losing patience, and I did not want that to happen, that was the only chance to get in his way, first I was going to get in his pants then his wallet God knows what I'm going to do.
"Hmm, relax. Its not like you owe your life, you don't owe me anything." I said and I was his reaction, he looked relived. "But," I went on, "You still have to pay me. I'm out of groceries. I'm getting paid tomorrow, so I have nothing to eat tonight. I'm tired of the left overs this café. I think dinner will fix everything."
"Oh okay. I guess fifty-dollars is enough." He said.
"Yeah but your coming along. I mean, I can't go to the restaurant alone." I demanded, his facial expression said the opposite of what I had said.
"Remember you can't decline," I said grinning as I got up, my break was over. "Tonight, eight o'clock at the sea food restaurant." I left with out giving him any chance to say something.
Oh my word! What have I done? Did I just ask him out. It's the same Dean that I knew. He is definitely going to fall for this trap. I'm glad my plan is on action, now wait and watch what I do to him.
I didn't have to look like I was going at a fancy dress party or anything. Night club or casual was okay for that dinner. I put on my casual outfit and left. I was complain about my tiny apartment all the way. I'm sure the driver thought I was insane.
The cab dropped me of at the seafood restaurant. I walked in as my eyes scanned everywhere to look for Dean, I thought maybe he wasn't going to show up. That was going to put me back to square one.
The following day I woke up, Dean's perfume was all over me. Yeah I wasn't dreaming and this bed wasn't mine, there was no way I was going to own such an expensive bed.
I looked around his room, I felt like I had to leave with something, I mean steal something. Where does this guy work? He was so expensive, I don't think I could afford him. That made me to fall for him, but there was no way I was going to forget the past.
Last night, I had asked Dean to order what he liked. I regrete that. Who on earth eats that? I'm not sure what it was, snail or slug. It has a salty sour taste. I thought I was going to throw up. I think he purposely ordered that to teach me a lesson.
Well now it was my turn, I got him drunk through a challenge, foolish guy, that was a trap! Getting in his pants was another story, the fact that he was drunk made it easier. I wish he wakes up soon and remembers everything.
"Look at you, sleeping like a baby. Don't you know what you have done?" I mumbled as closely looked at his face. His eyes were closed, he reeked alcohol. His lips were tempting, they kept inviting me to kiss him.
"What are you doing, Nick?" I said slapping myself not to hard, after I had stolen a kiss from him. "Hangover is going to kill you bitch!" I said as I remembered how he had drank last night, poor thing.
