The sudden intrusion of a once companion of the enemy queen soon turned against her. The butterfly queen was known for being beautiful and can put her enemies to sleep with her dust. "A sudden alliance?" the ant queen asked. "No. In fact, I actually don't want to help, but given your personality, you won't be giving us a domain to live in. Am I right? You'll eventually hunt us too, because we stood back from the battle earlier." The butterfly queen said. The ant queen laughed, "You're right. The marshland will be mine and mine alone, you don't deserve to live here anymore. You're weak, with your petty little sleeping tricks." The ant queen replied. "Well, you know. Sleeping tricks aren't really my only power, I just don't like sharing it with you." The butterfly queen said.
The ant queen's brows grew high, shocked of a sudden confession, "What do you mean?"
"I hate to reason to ugly species like you. Let me just show you." The butterfly queen said. She put Kent on land and reached Kent with her staff, Kent immediately woke up. "What is this? I thought I died!" She exclaimed. Kent looked at a familiar creature from her side and immediately flew back away from it. "What? Are you allergic to beauty?" She said in disbelief. "What did you do? I thought I died."
"No one dies from that, you silly. How can you die when you weren't stabbed? Well, fatigue can be, but you can't die from that! Besides you still have to defeat that ugly creature above us." Kent looked up, and saw the ant queen glaring intensely towards them.
"How?" Kent asked. Being alive isn't enough to defeat the ant queen, even more to defeat that giant ant, destroying our home. Kent glared at the destruction of the hive, he twitched her eyes, feeling the pain of losing their home. "I have the power to amplify, with just a little time, you can use the real power of the queen bee. However, you have to defeat the ant queen by that time. If not, then we all die." The butterfly queen explained.
Amplify what? The real power of the queen bee? How can I do that? Kent flooded herself with thoughts. "Now, brace yourself." Said the butterfly queen where she raised her staff and a glittering light shone from Kent, enveloped by different colors that continue to shine even with the presence of the night.
Kent felt strong, she never had this feeling before. It seems like she's invulnerable and can never be defeated. "Now go!" the butterfly queen exclaimed. Kent immediately flew towards the ant queen where she pointed her lance towards her. The ant queen managed to parry her weapon but Kent can see in her face that she also felt the surging power of Kent's. "I'm surprise." The ant queen said. "I never thought you can do this." The ant queen looked at the butterfly queen, where she also helped Kent fight the enemy queen. Sparkling lights appeared to different parts of the sky as the queens fought hard to decided the outcome of the battle, their wings moved in a speed where it is very hard to keep up with the naked eye.
The butterfly queen tried to put the giant ant to sleep but was aided by the other ants. Some dust hit the giant ant, but it seemed like it has no effect to it. The butterfly monsters soon responded to aid the barricading termites and helped them advance towards the giant ant. Putting every ant to sleep so they can no longer fight. The termites immediately trapped them below the ground, where they buried the bodies of the enemies. They soon marched towards the giant ant, who is still busy destroying the hive.
The ant queen screamed, "You traitor!" her own rage became her strength as she successfully hit Kent with her dagger which made Kent back off in a distance. The ant queen immediately flew towards the butterfly queen and tried to hit her. She crossed her daggers and sliced the butterfly queen. The butterfly queen dodged the attack but still managed to get hit. Her blood dripped as she backed away from the ant queen. "Even with the two of you, you are no match for me." Said the ant queen confidently, removing the blood from her daggers by waving it in the air.
Kent immediately aided the butterfly queen, "Stay behind me."
"We don't have much time; you have to use your power." Said the butterfly queen, who is looking anxious in the situation. But how do Kent use her powers? She doesn't know how to?
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard and they saw the hive was now almost completely destroyed. The foundations can't hold it anymore and the hive slanted, almost ready to fall. Kent saw the bees flew away from the hive, millions of it as they realized their home has now fallen. Some tried to attack the giant ant, and with no chance of winning, all perished with its destructive power. Kent writhe in an agonizing pain, as the bees signaled their queen with contempt and grief. Kent's emotions can't keep up, as it flooded even her mind and soul. Kent screamed as she threw her weapons away, knuckling her fists to her head as she continued to suffer.
"The butterfly queen tried to get near towards Kent, but she became odd. Her eyes started to glow as yellow light emitted from it. She then stood up and invoked a language no one could understand. A yellow light burst from Kent's body, laying waste to those who come near her. The ant queen was thrown as well as the butterfly queen from a distance.
Kent extended her arms from both sides and the light grew brighter, as if she's the sun herself. Suddenly, thousands of guard bees started to materialize from her back, one by one. Like a battalion of bees ready to go out to war.
The ant queen was dumbfounded, her eyes were bulging as she witnessed once more the power of her feared rival. Her body went numb. "No! She's back again." The ant queen murmured. She tried to compose herself, "No! She isn't. That's just some silly tricks from that traitor and I can still prevent it from happening. "Dino!" She called her giant ant. The ant immediately followed her queen's command as it marched its way to kill Kent.
"No!" said the butterfly queen when she witnessed the giant ant, stopped destroying the hive and considered Kent to be an utmost priority of destroying first. She flew towards it, but thousands of soldiers barricaded the sky and she had no time to fly upwards nor to the side to intercept the attack. "Kent isn't moving yet. I have to protect her."
The giant ant rose its giant hand along with its giant pincers to finally kill the immobile Kent when two giant black birds swirled and clawed the ant's eyes and destroyed its antenna. The giant ant screeched in pain, halted its own movement as it continued to suffer from the pain. "What are you doing, Dino?!" shouted the ant queen. The ant queen looked at the birds who were responsible for the sneak attack and realized that these were the birds who she thought were now extinct since she hunted them in the past for food. "You pests!" the ant queen shouted. I'll put an end to your kind. The ant queen flew, ready to stab the birds when someone parried her daggers. "I won't really like you killing the creatures who bought us some time." Christian said, successfully intercepting the ant queen's attack. "You!" the ant queen exclaimed. Christian pushed his weapon away, giving the ant queen a push to back off. "Everyone!" Shouted Christian. Alex immediately softened the marsh's grounds where the giant ant stood, preventing its movement to go any farther. Gloyd, together with the other birds let out a shrieking sound and the giant ant grew numb. His antenna cannot direct the waves therefore cannot protect itself from the numbing screams of the giant birds. A loud bang resounded from the ground as the giant ant fell with its whole body, its face completely on the surface. With her fleeting speed, Belle leaped and webbed the Ant's neck to the ground and did the same to its limbs. Restraining any movements from the giant enemy.
"What is this?" the ant queen asked in disbelief, "how did they appear suddenly? I thought they all were tired and could not go much farther." She added. There she saw, the giant black cat carrying Jay - Noel. They must have used that cat to sneak in. The ant queen saw her pet, laying helplessly on the ground. She screamed, screamed so hard that it was deafening to hear. A scream of realization. Contempt, of not expecting the sudden turn of events, who will soon turn into her loss.
She looked at Kent, her eyes still glowing in a golden light, she raised her right hand and pointed the place where the ant queen and her pet lay.
"Everyone! Get out!" shouted the butterfly queen. Everybody immediately heeded the call and moved away from the battle. Like a flash of golden light, thousands of guard bees swept away in the sky in a flash, pointing their lances towards the enemies in the front. The ant queen's scream did not last long as thousands pierced her body along with her giant pet beside her, leaving nothing but bits of pieces of their flesh.
The battle of the queens soon put into conclusion as silence soon took over the long screams and cries of the marshland.
