As the dead bodies of the enemies lay on the marshland's wet grounds, the chaos who reigned just a moment ago soon faded into silence. "What just happened?" Asked Christian as he went near to Kent's exhausted body. "She must have used all her energy to that attack." Alex tried to answer. "But how did she do it in the first place?" That was unbelievable but amazing." Christian continued to ask, cannot believe what he just witnessed earlier.
Small footsteps sounded as the butterfly queen approached everyone. "I let her borrow my powers." The butterfly queen said. Everyone looked at the beautiful queen, her wings still captivate those who see it, with its brilliance, a mixture of colors that soothes every eye. Jay and Noel who stood back earlier now approached everyone where Kent lay unconscious. "What exactly are your powers?" Alex asked, trying to understand. "I can unleash the original potential of an individual. However, it doesn't always happen that way, like what you witnessed from the new queen bee." She explained. "What do you mean?" Alex asked again. "You see. One can only use its full potential when put in a situation where you don't have much choice but to fight. It unlocks the greatest instinct within you, and that instinct is present in all of us – survival." The butterfly queen explained. Everybody went silent as they adore Kent's bravery and sudden display of extreme power to put them into safety and give them a chance to continue to live in this new world. "That means it still depends on that someone, if he or she can unlock his or her full potential, even with the help of your power?" Asked Alex again, trying to acquire the knowledge of unknown powers that is present in this world that can help them increase their survival. The butterfly queen nodded. "I know that past queen was strong, but I never thought, within that little time, she harnessed its power and used it as her own. I think she will become extremely strong in the future." The butterfly queen added. "Why did you decided to help us? I though you're on the side of the enemies?" Christian asked.
"The ant queen has never been my ally. However, I also know that I cannot revolt against her, not with my strength. I have considered the safety of my people, leaving me with no choice" Everyone went silent again as they realized that these beings are also capable of being compassionate. The creatures in the marshland aren't always consider hostility as the answer to all. Some creatures choose peace over chaos and that's what they did not know yet, for all the beings they have met, except for Sheldon are hostile towards them, giving them no choice but to also fight for their own safety – their lives.
"Let's stop chatting for a moment and the sun was about to rise now. We still have our savior, unconscious and she needs medical care immediately. We can't lose someone who just saved all of our asses in this war." Gloyd said.
"Noel, can you carry us to the spot where everyone was?" talking to a giant black cat, Gloyd asked for Noel's assistance. Noel bowed his head and adjusted his body so, everyone can ride on his back, on their way to the place where they all hid after their escape.
Splashing sounds resounded as Noel's giant feet stomped on the wetlands. The winged humans also rode on Noel's back because they still experienced extreme exhaustion from the fight. Belle used her webs to envelop Kent as they ride on Noel's back, keeping her safe and secured while they travel. "Belle, you saved most of our classmates from the attack. We don't know if they survived if you haven't been there. Especially the South border." Cared Alex. Belle smiled, still holding Kent, "All of you entrusted me with this power, it's common sense to use it for everyone's safety. Nevertheless, we all contributed in this victory. Everybody fought hard to defend our home. Those days training with Matt and Jay has been fruitful for all of us." Belle explained. It was truth to say that Belle has been a great deal in the battle, when the butterfly monsters attacked the other borders, they do not have something to defend themselves from the dust that will make them asleep when touched. However, the destruction of the hive is also one of the biggest suffering that Alex has gone through, since the hive was the one he chose that will serve as his defense. Everyone smiled at Belle but stopped when they saw Alex vomit some blood. Everyone was alarmed. Gloyd immediately aided his friend as he got closer to Alex. "I knew you shouldn't have gone with us. You took a lot of damage when the hive was attacked, surely you won't have anything left." Worried Gloyd. Alex wiped his mouth with his right hand, "I'm fine, don't worry about me. Not a chance, that I would leave the defense to all of you when I just lay safely, away from the battle." Explained Alex.
"That's out of the question, you have already done your part – putting traps and built walls. Without those, the hive should've been completely destroyed by now." argued Gloyd. Alex coughed. "We're getting close now. Let's ask Maeje when we get there.
Noel continued to run and not long when they arrived in the place full of trees and swamps. They saw a little hill that served as a cave. Eventually made by Alex after they left it and went together with everyone into the battle. Noel transformed into his human form after they have been put into land. A handsome young man emerged from the giant body of a panther. Not everyone expected and they just can't wait for time to ask some questions. "Wow! I almost forgot that we haven't seen your human form." amazed Christian. Noel let out a confused face, "Haven't you?" he raised his other brow upwards. "I didn't know you're kinda –" Christian couldn't finish as Gloyd interrupted their conversation. "Yummy." Belle sighed, "Here we go again, these gays couldn't just keep their loving emotions to themselves." Said Belle where she immediately went to the cave and carried the unconscious body of Kent.
The entrance of the cave has been guarded by the six guards of Kent, where they're stationed from all sides of it, giving others inside the utmost security, commanded by their queen. The guard bees let out a shriek as they witnessed their queen being carried by Belle. "Don't worry. She's not dead. You'll be if she was. We have to treat her. Stay on guard." Said Belle and went inside.
Noel carried Alex and ignored the two gays behind him, but they insisted that Noel was handsome and the thought of him haven't shown his face to everybody, still gives him a bit of confusion. "No, seriously. I haven't seen your face until now." wandered Gloyd. "Yeah, I'm quite confused, too. Now I remembered, that I haven't transformed back to being a human in a period of time, Maybe, it's because I don't have too? And senses when I have that form, gives me senses that can protect me. Since, I live alone; wander alone." Gloyd agreed.
"We can talk about some other time. We have to treat Alex first." Said Noel. Gloyd and Christian immediately followed Noel as they all entered the cave. The butterfly queen followed them, together with some of her followers which she commanded to stay outside for possible threats. The guard bees, at first, grew hostile and vigilant to their arrival, but Gloyd explained it to them what happened and they accepted it and let the butterfly queen enter the cave made by Alex.
Students lie on the cold grounds of the marsh as they wait for the others to arrive, worried of their safety that can tell their future in the marshland. They saw their classmates coming back from the battle as they arrived and they have never been so happy and immediately responded to aid the unconscious Kent and the exhausted Alex. "Maeje, Kent was unconscious, do you have something that can help her as well as Alex." Worried Belle, putting Kent on a bed made of web, serving as a cushion to the both of them. "Let me see what I can do." Maeje used the knowledge she acquired in their past world as she thought of possible solutions to their problem. The butterfly queen helped her since she lived longer that everyone in the marsh. Maeje and the butterfly queen formed an immediate bond as they successfully treated Alex and Kent, back. "I couldn't have done it without the use powers and knowledge." Thanked Maeje. The butterfly queen smiled, "I didn't even know these plants have healing powers. I just strengthen their capability to heal, but all credit should go to you." Said the butterfly queen. They both hugged each other, thanking each other for a successful treatment.
Everybody was joyous as they now know the status of Alex and Kent – the saviors of the marsh. Although, they're still unconscious, at least they know that they're not in a critical condition anymore, leaving them into another future in surviving in these lands.
