The class was now back on its current state as they continue to collect the plates and utensils made from the natural resources present in the marsh. Some of them talked, some rested, and some talked with each other. The smiles painted on their faces were so evident that they do not seem have the option hide it. Alex walked towards Kent, getting the enough rest from the war. "What are we going to do now?" he asked. Kent moved her face, looked at Alex and said, "We have to rebuild it. let's start anew." She replied. Alex nodded. "Rabi said, she would meet us after the battle. I wonder where she is now." confused. Kent sighed, "I just hope she does not bring another great news like a great war that is about to come." She joked, but also hopeful that Rabi will not do so. Alex let out a chuckle, "Let's hope so."
Not long when Kent ordered everyone to gather around, ready to announce the next phase of their plan as they continue to live in the marsh. Everyone gathered inside the cave, waiting for Kent's announcement. The guard bees stationed around the hive, accompanied by the butterfly queen's soldiers too.
"I do not need to tell you what to do. Decisions should not always come from me. The butterfly queen said that the greatest threat that we could encounter in the marsh was the conflict between the stapus, and we were victorious from it. What do you all suggest? I want everyone to please tell me your insights on this." Kent announced.
Murmurs were heard after they listened to Kent. Eventually, everyone has their own insights on what happens next. "I really think, after this, we should now get back to the hive and rebuild it. We may not be the ones who built that place, but we were the successors of the greatest building in the marshland, we ought to rebuild and take care of it. In that way, we do not just use it, but honor the life of the past queen bee and its inhabitants." Jimmy said. There were murmurs again. "I think so too." "Yes, that's what we should do!" "That's right!" agreeable statements were heard as they agreed on what Jimmy had said. Kent nodded her head and looked at Alex. Alex smiled and nodded too. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's march down towards our scrumptious home!" Kent exclaimed. Everyone shouted and happily moved towards the exit. "I may be happy now, but in reality, I really don't know how to rebuild it. the design of the hive was according to the past queen bee's preference. I don't even know how she did it." whispered Kent to herself. However, Alex heard it, since he was close to her and intercepted Kent's petty thoughts. "Don't worry, Kent. We'll know what to do once we gather everyone's idea. This mission isn't just yours; you know?" said Alex. Kent smiled and went towards the exit.
Footsteps resounded from the marsh as they class and the creatures from the land, marched together, trying to rebuild the home that they have lost. Some of their classmates had fun while walking and let the winged ones carry some of them for, they want to experience what it was like to fly. "So, this is the feeling of flying!!!!!!" shouted some, who busily soared in the sky with the help of Gloyd and Christian. Their voices were so loud, that the ones marching from the ground were laughing as they heard them. Kent looked at everyone and she did not know she could feel this again. The feeling of carefreeness, the feeling of not minding the threats around them, just pure happiness. She smiled. A smile full of genuineness. "Isn't this amazing?" asked Alex. Kent looked at him. "It is. It really is." Alex smiled, "I didn't know, we could still feel and do this after what we have been through." Kent nodded. "I just hope this feeling will remain."
Everyone continued to march and reached the place where the hive stood gallantly in the marsh. Only to see how destructive the battle was when they witnessed its glorious building collapsed and broken. The gold walls fell into the ground like giant hails in a storm, scattered on the wet ground. The garden was destroyed, and could not even remember what it looked like in the past for the scene was indeed heartbreaking. Lynne cried silently. Some patted her back. The walls who weren't destroyed were still there where Alex's powers came to use. "Should I undo the walls?" He looked at Kent. "No." she said, not looking at Alex but was busy looking at the destroyed place who they considered as home. The little bees swarmed from the hive, grieving. Unlike the guard bees, these little bees have the option to be independent. Although they follow Kent from her command, these bees always consider their nectar as their master and priority. Kent don't mind it, since bees are always like that and it's one thing that haven't changed, even in their past world, and she liked it. However, Kent can never deny the fact that their home was destroyed, and it's up to her to rebuild it. She drowned in her thoughts.
"Alright! Chop-chop! There's no time to grieve. We have a home to rebuild!" a familiar voice sounded from the back. Everyone looked at him. "Too much enthusiasm huh? Von?" Ivan said. "Well, I just don't see the point of grieving, Yes, we grieve, but we still can do something. This hive can still go back to its previous state, maybe even better? So, why grieve what has not truly been lost? Right?" he said loudly. Everyone mustered and realized he was right. They all smiled. "Let's start!" everyone said happily and they went on, rebuilding their home.
"Let me help." Said the butterfly queen, as she landed where Kent was. "You don't really have too. This is our problem." Replied Kent. "It won't be destroyed if it weren't for us." She argued. Kent just smiled, "Thank you very much." She said happily. The butterfly went on as she flew above the sky, she commanded her soldiers to help too where they also followed their queen's command and flapped their beautiful colored wings above the class.
Christian cried loudly, "I wanna have that!" everyone laughed. Angel may not be talking, but he knows he wanted it too. Gloyd just silently watched the wings pass him, beautifully.
"These gays can't really compose themselves, can't they?" Darline said. "Hey! I also like to be a butterfly!" Maeje argued. "I don't know. I see the carthae a better one. They're so mysterious and creepy. I also think they're very powerful." Darline said. "Well, if I get to choose. I want something that can heal wounds in a magical way." Maeje shared. Darline laughed, "Are you making use of the world now?"
"Well, we can't really magically heal wounds nor illnesses in the past, so why not now? Although, I also think it's not possible. Anyway, let's get back to work." Maeje ended.
Everyone was busy as they rebuild the hive. Kent materialized some of the most important components of the hive. Hardened blocks of nectar were made by Kent. They tried to build it according to the past hive, but they know its impossible. The past hive was massive and Kent can't provide them with so much from her power. They have to settle for something that can accommodate them for a moment. Kent flooded herself with thoughts as she continued to materialize building materials from her own power.
"Kent?" a familiar voice sounded, Kent looked where the voice came from and she saw Von coming towards her. "Hey" Kent greeted, stopping from what she is doing. "I don't think, that you needed me, but if I ask, do you have a plan for the result of this building?" Von asked. Kent bowed her head, moving her head from side to side. "I see. May I suggest something?" Von continued. Kent smiled, "Of course! We're actually waiting for someone who has the knowledge in building. I really don't think we have someone, but now you're here!" Kent said happily.
Von smiled, where he immediately laid out the plan to Kent. Kent called Alex, and some of their classmates who served as the leaders of their class to gather around, listening to what Von has to say.
Von shared that they can use not just the nectar but also the woods around them. This will not just help Kent to minimize the use of her powers, but also strengthen their defenses by using other materials. Alex will help with the foundation and the interior will be left to Kent's. Belle will be assigned for the rooms, and Jessie and Lyka will be assigned to the kitchen and their hall. The designs will matter to their preference, so they can work efficiently and effectively.
"What about the bees? Where do we put them? They are the ones who were present in the hive in almost all of the places." Kent asked. "Don't worry, I have something for them." Von assured.
They continued to listen. "The bees will be placed separate from the building itself." Von said. Everyone was dumbfounded. "What do you mean? We don't include them from the hive?" Jessie asked. Von nodded, "Yes."
"We can't do that! They're part of the hive!" argued Lyka.
Everyone just listened. "Guys, I really think, they don't need to gather around in the same place. I think it only happened in the past because the other queens were hostile towards them. Maybe, they sought help from the queen bee, where she gathered everyone to her hive. That's what made the hive so massive. Since we won the war, we should restore this place from its original state, where creatures of different species live together in harmony – in its own habitat." Von explained.
Everybody went silent. "Can we do this?" Kent asked, she looked at the butterfly queen who also listened to Von. The butterfly queen smiled, "Those creatures of yours will now bring abundance not just in your territory but in the marshland as a whole."
Everybody looked at the butterfly queen where they realized how she longed for a place where she can see beautiful sceneries full of abundance such as this.
"I see, so we let the bees roam around where they can live peacefully?" Kent asked.
"Yes." Von answered.
"Can we agree to this?" announced Kent to everyone who gathered.
Everybody nodded their heads as they agreed to what Von said. They realized that they were ignorant at first, but because of their different views, they can consider a variety of opinions that they did not think are necessary in the first place. A gushing feel of excitement soon envelop the hearts of the class as they went back to their jobs, ready to build their new home.
