When you love, you are willing to do anything for them, even if it feels wrong.
You suddenly feel like nothing else matters in the world. Sacrifices wouldn't be that much
of a problem and even if it can affect your whole routine, you're willing to love
unconditionally. Saul never believed in this feeling so called as "love". Why would he? He
is a high-ranking Devil who has always been living in hell.
A place where it isn't what you think it is. Hell is actually similar to Earth, only thing is, it
has everything you need and want. From happiness, freedom, money, fulfillment,
confidence, mansions, pools, 5 star hotels, and even the simplest things to a free ticket to
your favorite concert. You probably think otherwise. It does sound like a perfect world, but
the most horrifying and abominable thing is, love does not exist in Hell.
A day goes by, Devils having fist fights, gambling at casinos, others partying,
having sex, watching porn, and those are only some of what people do in Hell on a normal
day. Meanwhile, a normal day for Saul is all about working out. Even if he's powerful and
a High-ranking Devil, he still takes good care of his body. It has always been well-built.
After working out, he steps out of his mansion to party and meet with some succubi or
female Demons who only wants sex or lust. Not mentioning his great looks, he can capture
a woman's attention all the time. In the midst of rampaging party people, Saul was alarmed
when he heard a loud siren coming from the main tower. It was disturbing for everyone,
especially since the tower is the tallest building and had a wide speaker on top of it. The
speaker was usually used for announcements to tell. Saul was so curious of what it was
about because they made every guy come forth to the main tower for an important meeting.
He got ready and rushed to the tower.
When he arrived, there were a lot of men all gathered to hear the announcement. Suddenly,
there was a guy with a skull-like megaphone on his hands.
"There will be a huge war against the angels tonight at the Purgatory Area! Everyone get armed and arrive there at dawn. We must get all souls in order to conquer Heaven."
Everyone then went to their respective homes and gathered their weapons. It was normal for people to buy weapons with souls, they no longer needed IDs or legal certificates. So, Saul got home and went to gather his things, cultivated some rituals, and made sure he was fully armed and ready.
Hours passed by and everyone came out of their homes and met at the tower.
When everyone was finally there, their leader made sure that they were all armed and was
ready and brave enough to go. The leader gave badges to write their personal information
on, which was to be placed on their suit. This was usually given when there's a war for
them to be signified of where they belonged to. All of the Devils were then sent to the
Purgatory Area and was face to face with the Angels. Both leaders of the two groups were
at front. The Angels was not what the Devils expected them to be. They rarely saw their
kind because of the rule where Angels and Devils are restricted from seeing each other. If
they do so, they will receive a punishment. Then, the war began.
Guns were shot, swords clashed, wings are damaged, magic have been chanted and several
Angels and Devils were lying on the area, gone. Saul was bleeding tons of blood and had a
huge cut on his chest. He sat aside and was trying to cover the wound, when he laid eyes on
an Angel that looked odd and made him feel something he has never felt before. The
Angel's helmet was damaged and Saul could see that the Angel had long hair tucked in her
suit. He gasped and was astonished when he realized that there was a girl in the area,
fighting in this war. The angel saw him and she suddenly had her blood run cold. She then
ran away and went back to Heaven.
Saul was so confused with what he saw, because he knew that it was only men
who were allowed to fight the war. His eyes lit up when he saw that a badge fell from her.
"This probably fell from her. She was running so fast!" Saul said to himself.
Desperately wanting to know who the angel was, he crawled to the badge. He did not know what to do with it. The war finished and the Devils won. They then were sent back to their homes and
was delivered souls for their reward. Meanwhile, Saul was healed because of his powers
and was home with the badge of the Angel in his pocket. He shut the door and locked it. He
then read the badge and saw the Angels name on it. "Lunael", Sol read silently. While
thinking of how he could get it back to Lunael, he messaged her and hoped he could settle
things and talk about giving it back. He felt a weird feeling that he can't distinguish. It felt
so off that he needed to sleep it out. Saul woke up to the rumble of the window made by his
crow. There he was, lying awake and extremely hoping that it was Lunael's message at the
feet of a crow.
