Three days have passed since Lunael and Saul has last seen each other. Lunael
just woke up to her huge and extremely soft bed. Its metal is colored gold and lavender,
and the mattress was as white as snow and soft like cotton. She stretched as she rose from
her bed and went straight to the kitchen, made coffee just how she liked it and yawned
from fatigue. Staring at her dark and pure coffee, she abruptly remembered Saul's cloak. It
passed Lunael mind how three days have passed and she haven't fulfilled her deal with
Saul which was to meet all the time in exchange of the priceless jewelry. While making the
mug of coffee float and having endless thoughts about the deal, she quickly took a bath and
chose something to wear from her large variety of clothes. Lunael was having a hard time
picking the right outfit because it was her first date, since Angels are forbidden from
having an intimate relationship. They were only known to have family relationships only.
After five long confusing hours, Lunael was finally able to choose an outfit to wear. She
instantly went to the Golden Gates and surprisingly saw it open. But, she did not bother to
give it attention or notice it as much, instead, she straightaway went out and flew down on
her way to Purgatoire. She was inches away from it when she saw a bright magic, bursting
out of the mountains, and flying trees. Suddenly, she sees Saul flying into rage. She then
approaches him.
"Saul! What are you doing?! Why are you breaking the Purgatoire?! I know that
whatever you do, this won't break into pieces because of the super-fast regeneration. But
why are you—" Before Lunael could even finish what she's trying to say, Saul made it rain
magical shooting stars.
Lunael got hit by it and fell to the grounds of Purgatoire. She wasn't wearing any sort of
armor which is why she had a deep and open wound from it. The time went slow from the
eyes of Lunael while she was thinking that by the time she would fall in-love, she would
lose. Because of that, her feeling of madness towards Demons became deeper. Lunael
made it rain magic spells at Saul and he also had a deep and open wound. Together with
this is when Lunael was shocked from seeing Petrus as an Angel in disguise that looked
like Saul.
"Why did you do this, Petrus? What does this mean?"
While she was talking, Petrus brought out a white orb and threw it to Lunael. Lunael
thought that she was about to die from it, but there was a shadow that shielded her. A black
colored cloak. Before she even got to realize that the shadow was Saul, they both fell.
When she opened her eyes, she saw Saul covered in blood and was immensely weak.
"What a poor little Demon. She thought she was with you these past few days.
Right from the start, I already knew that there was something fishy with Lunael's actions.
That's why I thought of copying your appearance, following you, and sending you food.
I'm a really kind Angel, but I figured that having some poison in your food would be quite
exciting! Because that is exactly what Demons deserve. He believed me so much that I was
Lunael. But last night, he fought back. As a reward to you peasant, I will give you a chance
to tell me how you knew that I wasn't Lunael." Petrus explained.
"I knew it because you didn't have the same eyes. You did not possess great eyes
with such power, that with every stare I gazed upon you, all the storms of fire in my mind
and the blood at the side of my sight, became bright and clear. I am free from my own Hell
every time I look at Lunael's eyes. Other than that, you were not wearing the item that I
gave her. Just from that simple detail, I already had a bad and different feeling. That's why
I attacked you." Saul answered while coughing blood.
"You are so dramatic to become a Demon. You do not know what love is. All that
you do is break forbidden rules and it's just right for you Demons to be punished. Say
goodbye, you peasant. This is your death. Per potentiam caeli interficias me, et hac
humilisque daemon."
After Petrus cursed Saul into dying, he pointed both his palms to him and a bright beam of
light bursts out of them. When it disappeared, Saul was gone. Thinking that he has already
won, he then pointed to Lunael. He saw her chanting and breathless. Blood was dripping
from different parts of her body.
"What did you do?!" Petrus shouted.
"May you be safe from the world full of people, my beloved Saul." Lunael gasps.
She did this to save Saul from Petrus.
Petrus does not know what chant Lunael did, and this is why he got furious.
"You are beyond the line, Lunael. A heavier punishment shall be made to you. I
will erase all your memories and bring you to a body of a person, also for you to not be
able to use your powers no longer. This is your punishment." Petrus said confidently.
"Per potentiam caeli, hoc facere ut obliviscatur eius memoria et peurum eius
anima humana sit, in mundo."
Lunael's soul slowly disappeared and while this was happening, she was saying in her
mind "Perhaps we've just met at the wrong time, my love. May we meet at the perfect
time of the God."
After saying this, Petrus has gotten the victory he wanted.
