Chereads / Special Forces Soldier Reincarnated in Another World! / Chapter 20 - Continuing the Journey

Chapter 20 - Continuing the Journey

Aisrin stared at Abrahm and sighed.

"What?" Abrahm asked curiously.

"Blackhawk... Hah, never mind." Aisrin answered.

"...Hurry on out! Making an old man impatient. If they get up here, and find you, they'll kill you." Abrahm stated with warning.

"Or I could just kill them first." Aisrin replied.

"They most likely have high warding magic in place. Just get going. Get to Fargas." Abrahm pushed Aisrin towards the back door.

Aisrin seceded and exited the house. He walked towards the graves of his family and said his farewells before giving Abrahm a sad look and bid him farewell as well. Aisrin snuck away into the woods, all while watching as the Bloodrend soldiers approached the old house.

Aisrin knew he couldn't do anything so he simply hoped Abrahm would be alright and took off back towards Fargas all while avoiding main roads and populated areas.

Approaching Bordertown was a challenge, because now there was higher security. Aisrin weighed his options, and decided to sneak in over walls.

"Sneak." Aisrin muttered and took off towards the wall and jumped over it. As soon as he landed he ran along the wall, diving into alleys and shadows when anyone was walking along the same path as him, until he realized he literally was undetectable.

Aisrin began to think that sneaking through would be easier than he thought. Until he accidentally bumped into someone, and dispelled his skill.

He hadn't realized that his skill had been dispelled so he continued moving along the wall towards the Fargas exit. Aisrin noticed some Bloodrend soldiers gathered around in a group, laughing and carrying on merrily.

Aisrin walked by them unfazed.

"Hey! Half breed!" One of them shouted.

Aisrin stopped, and glanced behind him at the soldiers.

"Yeah, I'm talking to you." One of the soldiers stood up and approached Aisrin.

"Can I help you sir?" Aisrin faked a friendly smile.

"The fuck did you say punk? You getting attitude?" Now all the soldiers were walking towards Aisrin.

"I'm sorry?" Aisrin asked, still keeping a fake smile.

"You think somethings funny? Half breeds demon scum!" The soldier spat. He was a pale fat man, obviously never seen a real battle in his life.

"I think you've got me confused sir. Though I'm a half breed demon, I'm not scum." Aisrin bowed his head slightly with his right hand over his left breast.

"Don't move! I saw you reach for your weapons! If you move again, I'll have to kill you." The soldier took a step back and drew his blade. Aisrins eyes narrowed at the sight.

"Be careful Frank, he looks like he's about to fight." Another soldier grinned and the remaining seven or eight soldiers drew their blades and pointed them at Aisrin.

'Looks like I'm just going to have to kill them and sneak out after.'

Aisrin took a step back and sighed.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Aisrin looked at the group, an annoyed expression on his face. A couple soldiers stepped back nervously. The fat pale one laughed.

"Are you threatening us boy?" He sneered.

"No. Threats are empty. I would never threaten." Aisrin stretched.

"I said no movements!" The soldier lunged forward with a happy, malicious smile. Aisrin pulled out his daggers and stabbed upwards and through the bottom of the soldiers chin. The dagger pierced through the top of the man's head, and he suddenly went limp.

Aisrin pulled the dagger out and pushed the corpse to the side. The movement happened so fast, no one caught it. The soldiers simy stared for a few moments before jumping at Aisrin in a blind fury. Aisrin kicked the first soldier back into the next two and lunged forward, causing the wall behind him to crack and the ground beneath to break apart.

He threw one of his daggers at the fourth, nailing him in the head. He jumped onto the falling body, ripped the dagger out and used both to block the sword of the fifth, and then used the body of the fourth as a platform and jumped up higher, landing behind six and seven.

With two of their men down, and three others screaming to pick their weapons up, as well as not being able to keep up with Aisrins moves, the soldiers were effectively shook.

"Are you a spy for the Demon Kings army?" One of the soldiers asked as he spun around to face Aisrin, his sword began to glow orange and fire shortly followed. Aisrin took a stance.

"No. I'm the hero." Aisrin answered and then activated a skill. Black lightning began to crackle along his blades, turning the blades themselves black. Aisrin slashed his blades in a horizontal fashion, sending out two black blades crackling with the black lightning.

As soon as the blades passed through all the soldiers, they fell, their bodies charred and the where the blades passed through, had been completely devoured by the Void.

"Void Storm Blades... effective." Aisrin nodded and sheathed his blades before once again activating his sneak skill and finally leaving Bordertown.

He kept to the woods and anywhere off the main routes through Fargas to Fargo. He passed through the last village he stopped in with his party, simply just feeling nostalgic. He realized no one recognized, nor cared about him, so he stopped sneaking about.

He followed the route that he took six years prior, and came across a large stone/land mark, where James had died.

Aisrin approached the stone, to pay his respects. When Aisrin knelt down, he noticed writing on the stone. He leaned down further to read it better.

'I know it wasn't you. I'm in Fargo. You Pansy Ass.'

Aisrin smiled and then began laughing. The only person who would unhesitatingly defile a grave, would be Blackhawk.

Aisrin finished paying his respects, and finally took the next step, beginning the six year stagnant journey once more.

The further into Fargas Aisrin got, the less his face was shown on posters. Still, his name was slandered and hated. Fargo was still a good two weeks journey westward, and everywhere he went was new and unfamiliar.

Since his name showed up Sin, no one gave much thought to him.

"Sin? Your parents named you well. Sin is the Demon word for Red, though I'm sure you knew that." One of the checkpoint guards commented. Aisrin was trying to rest in a small city called Starda.

"Ah, actually my parents were killed, so I didn't actually. Thanks for telling me." Aisrin responded and passed through the gates. Heading for an inn.

Aisrin wandered about the streets, looking for a cheap inn to spend the night. As he was, he came across an old worn down weapons smithing shop. Something told him to wander in, so he did. Inside was just as old and worn looking as the outside. But the tools, and operating tables looked well taken care of.

"Can I help you?" Someone asked from behind an anvil.

"I don't know. I just, wandered in because I felt the need to." Aisrin replied and then turned to leave. Before he did so, he felt his daggers get removed, and instantly Aisrin went on the defense.

A tall, dwarvish woman was holding Aisrin's Daggers, inspecting them.

"You're tall for a dwarf." Aisrin bluntly stated. She had the same bright carrot colored hair as Gwen. She was also well endowed and had very attractive features. Everything about her screamed beautiful at Aisrin. He could tell she worked the forge, she was very fit.

"I'm half vampyre. Demon." The woman replied while still inspecting the blades.

"Ah." Aisrin replied.

"I like you." The woman put the daggers down, sat on a nearby anvil and then stated.

"Say what?" Aisrin dropped his guard and responded in confusion.

"I like you. What don't you understand?" The woman crossed her arms over her large breasts. Aisrins eyes snapped to the sight and then back to the woman's face.

"All of it. I just wandered into your shop, randomly." Aisrin answered firmly.

"You found this shop. You were called in here. Besides, I've never met someone who took such care of their blades, giving them the breath of life like you." The woman replied coolly.

'I just run Void Flames through them when they're dirty though.'

"I need you." The woman was suddenly in Aisrins face. The smell of coal, metal, and a faint aroma of roses filled Aisrins senses.

'That's oddly Alluring.'

"I think I need to get going." Aisrin tried to leave, but the woman eyes flashed bright blue and Aisrin found himself on the ground with the woman on top of him.

"I know who you really are... Aisrin." The woman smiled, her teeth were a a little sharper, and the canines a tad longer.

'I gotta go!'

Aisrin tried to move, but his senses had died and his strength sapped.

"Don't worry. I won't tell. My eyes can see all. Also, I'm famished, so thank the gods they called you in!" The woman whispered in Aisrins ear, and panic set in.

Vampyre Demons are amongst the oldest and least controllable Demons. Vampires are monsters that are pale and eat their victims entirely. Vampires are infected beings that sought the blood of Vampyres. Though they gain their immortality and high stats, they loose their rationality and become a husk.

Vampyres only drink a little blood from their victims, and they do it without warning and when they're excited or attracted to someone.

Thus, the woman partook of Aisrins blood. And Aisrin passed out from a mixture of exhaustion and stress from his journey.
