Aisrin and Regina stopped near a lake, three days after the Red Masks Raid.
"How do you move so fast? And what's with that monstrous stamina? Is it because you're the Hero?" Regina non stop asked Aisrin questions.
"I trained." Aisrin answered as he began to undress.
"Why are you undressing?" Regina again. asked another question.
"I'm cooling off in this lake." Aisrin responded as he got down to his underwear and dove into the water shortly after.
Aisrin swam to the middle, and then decided to dive down, heading for the bottom of the lake. As soon as he reached the bottom he cast air magic, in bubble form, around himself
"Traveling with people... Hah, when did that become such a drag?" Aisrin sighed. The bottom of the lake was refreshingly dark and cool. With his improved eyesight, Aisrin could see all his surroundings.
"What am I like... two hundred feet now?" Aisrin commented as he looked up to the surface. He spotted Regina swimming about, searching.
"Hah, guess I can't be alone." Aisrin sighed as he got up to swim back to the surface. Movement to his right caught his attention and he glanced over. What looked like a dinosaur was staring intently at Regina, but gave no indication of malice. It simply blew bubbles from its mouth in what Aisrin noticed as a sigh.
"I feel ya pal." Aisrin muttered sympathetically. The creature looked in Aisrin's direction, it's dull yellowish orange colored eyes narrowed. The dinosaur began to move, growing larger as it stood up. Aisrin then recognized the monstrous being, it was no dinosaur...
"What is a demon spawn doing in my lake?" Aisrin heard reverberate heavily inside his head. Aisrin dropped to his knee and bowed respectfully.
"I humbly apologize for trespassing oh great one. I had no idea this was the territory of one of the esteemed Dragonkin." Aisrin replied humbly.
"Oho? How well versed you are. Then do you know the customs of Dragonkin as well?" The dragon asked.
"Of course. I am well studied in the ways of the superior race of Dragons." Aisrin stated, not moving from his bow. In truth, Trilla had many books on Dragonkin and their customs.
"Then please demonstrate demon spawn." The dragon demanded. Aisrin stood up and lifted his hand up and began to charge up his mana, gathering it until it began to warp the surrounding water.
"Void Flare." Aisrin cast his strongest skill. Black fire erupted from Aisrins hand, evaporating and consuming the water all the way to the surface. Regina had just reached the shores when a pillar of black flames erupted from the center of the lake and rise a hundred feet into the air before vanishing. Leaving an eerie hole in the lake for a few seconds before the water converged on itself and created a large whirlpool.
"What monster did that?" Regina paled.
The dragon shifted uncomfortably.
"Demon... no... Sir, what monstrous magical power you have demonstrated. I fear I do not have the right to rival such a spell... or skill in mortal language. My humblest apologies for my rudeness." The dragon bowed.
"It is of no consequence. I would be honored to see your magic power myself oh great one." Aisrin bowed in return.
"As you wish." The dragon opened its maw, revealing razor sharp teeth and mana gathered in its maw rapidly. A moment later the dragon lifted its head up towards the surface and released a blast of lightning that shot to the surface in an instant.
Regina was still watching when the lightning broke the surface and shot through the air. The water blasted to the shore and drenched Regina.
"Where did we stop at?" Regina shivered both in fear and from the cold water.
The dragon snapped its maw shut, cutting the mana circulation off. The dragon then looked back at Aisrin.
"A wonderful display of magic control, it was a pleasure to witness." Aisrin told the dragon.
"Your words please me. May I ask you a question?" The dragon inquired.
"I will answer to the best of my abilities." Aisrin obliged the dragon.
"Why does a demon spawn have unattributed summoning magic?" The dragon asked its question.
"I do not know. I haven't used nor delved into this magic as of yet." Aisrin answered.
"Then may I ask if I may enter a contract with you?" The dragon offered.
"I don't know how. If I did, I would happily oblige." Aisrin replied.
"Then I shall show you." The dragon moved closer to Aisrin, and reached its right forelegs out, one of its claws extended and entered Aisrins bubble to lightly touch the fore of his head. Information entered Aisrins mind directly from the contact.
"Very well. Since I now know, I shall form a contract with you." Aisrin stated as soon as the dragon receded from Aisrin.
"You decided very quickly." The dragon noted.
"Refusing a Dragonkin leads to extremely bad misfortune, and that sounds too troublesome to deal with." Aisrin responded.
"Ah... What is your name demon spawn?" The dragon asked.
"Aisrin. And yours, oh great one?" Aisrin replied.
"I am the battle dragon, conqueror of wars long past. I have many names, which name do you seek?" The dragon boasted.
"Your name." Aisrin was beginning to crack. Being polite for too long caused immense strain on his mind.
"You may call me Syphir then." Syphir replied.
"Then, Syphir, I look forward to traveling with you." Aisrin bowed and stated.
"As do I, Aisrin." Syphir seemed to hum in response. With the revealing of their names, the contract was formed and Syphir began to shrink until she was humanoid.
'Of course she's female, of course.'
"Ah, how refreshing to be in my human form again." Syphir smiled. Though Aisrin couldn't see much of her features, what he could see, placed her in the top tier amongst woman. Big tits and an ass to match.
'I could get used to it.'
"Well, shouldn't we return to the surface?" Syphir asked.
"Indeed." Aisrin answered.
*Meanwhile, Bloodrend City*
A man walked happily down a corridor in the vast palace. His name was Iwata Takashi. A summoned Hero from earth. He was 5'7" 184lbs with black hair and eyes. He was on his way to the throne room after being told to meet the King.
Every maid that walked by got slapped on the rear, and given a lustful look. His personality, was all but Heroic. Soon he reached the throne room, and kneeled before the king.
"Iwata, I have a quest for you. Recently, a town disappeared, and my top men, don't know why or how. But, I recieved news that I wish for you to hear." The king then motioned for a girl clad in red with a red mask to step forward.
"Yes, I went deep into Fargas territory, where I was attempting to apprehend the vampire Regina, when I encountered, who I believe was the Faux Hero, Aisrin. I don't have definite proof, just a gut feeling. But, as he is now, you would be unable to face him. His strength far exceeds what he used to be.
Just from a jump, he created a whirlwind strong enough to push men back. His speed allowed him to vanish within seconds, and his practiced movements showed elegance of a seasoned warrior. Even if it turns out that it's not him, then we are looking at a Black Class Demon Spawn.
I also have reason to believe the annihilation of Dorstend was his doing as well." The woman told and then stepped back.
"My quest for you, Iwata, is to gain strength as you investigate this matter. I also want you to go to Fargas, and pick up his trail. He is only Black Class, make sure he does.t step it up from there. Dismissed." The King stood and left the room.
The current clashing system was based off of colors for strength and danger.
Yellow Class being the Lowest, between H and F rank. Poses no threat, but must be purged. Between 1 to 3 large copper bits for bounty.
Orange Class, between F and E rank. Not a big worry, easily apprehendable. Between 3 to 5 large silver bits for bounty.
Red Class, between E and D rank. Poses a danger to the public. Bounty. of 6 to 10 large silver bits.
Black Class, between D and C rank. An intermediate threat to the people. Bounties up to 4 large Gold bits.
White Class, between C and B rank. Massive threat, capable of great evil. Bounties up to 1 Gold coin.
Grey Class, A rank. Can threaten a whole city, immediate military action may be taken. Bounties of 5 Gold coins minimum.
Violet Class, S rank and above. Nothing can stop these demons. Can raze kingdoms to the ground. 10 Platinum coin Bounty.
Iwata smiled, a Black Class Bounty was hardly worth his time, but the thrill of hunting the prey he was first tasked with subduing two years ago when he was summoned, gave him a chill of excitement.
"I can't wait, Faux Hero-sama." Iwata grinned maliciously.
