Chapter 17 - RakDiao - Rak and Diao

Diao fidgeted with his lanyard as he sat at the boardroom table waiting for Rak to arrive. Daisy and Khanomthai sat across from him, watching with beady eyes. Every few seconds they would give each other a quick look and nod before turning back to him.

However, their continual stare went unnoticed by Diao. He was so lost in his own thoughts that when Rak finally arrived he jumped and blushed.

"Suttirak! You've finally come … into my heart! When will you let me into yours?" Daisy flirted.

Rak laced him with a stare as cold as ice before taking his seat. Daisy instantly sat up straighter and cleared his throat.

"I'm sorry," he said and turned to his laptop. "Let's start the meeting."

Rak's gaze then turned to Diao and a fire could be seen blazing in them. He quirked an eyebrow at the slightly younger man when Diao quickly averted his eyes. He smirked and then turned back to the group.

Diao squirmed throughout the entire meeting. Rak was intentionally sending him heated looks and he was trying desperately not to blush even more. He could feel Rak's foot against his, no matter how many times he moved his foot away. The innocent contact made Diao's heart race and he found it hard to concentrate.

When the meeting was finally over, Rak left as usual and Diao relaxed his shoulders and could finally take a breath.

'Damn! Rak was intentionally annoying me throughout the entire meeting!' He thought as he gathered his things.

"Diao! What's wrong, my darling? Do you need me to snuggle in bed with you tonight?" Daisy teasingly flirted as he grabbed his arm.

"Sleep on your deathbed more like!" Khanomthai bit back, pulling his arm away. "Diao, are you ok? You seem out of it."

"I'm fine," he said, plastering a smile on his face. "I'll be right back."

Diao quickly left and headed straight for Rak's office. He noticed Rak was on the phone when he knocked. Rak waved him in and stood, finishing the call, as Diao entered, closing the door behind him.

Rak instantly came around his desk to pull Diao to him but frowned when Diao stopped him. His frown turned into a smirk when he watched Diao glance out the glass door to see if anyone was watching.

"Diao?" he whispered as he leaned close to his ear.

Diao jumped and took a step back. Rak chuckled, reaching out for him again.

"Stop!" Diao warned. "We're at work, you can't be doing that here. What if someone sees us? I only came here to tell you that you can't do that again in the meeting."

"What did I do?" he asked, with a smirk and a butter-wouldn't-melt look.

Diao knew that Rak knew exactly what he had done. With a scowl, Diao turned to leave but Rak stopped him.

"Ok, ok! I'm only teasing. I'll behave at work," Rak promised, flicking Diao's nose.

Satisfied, Diao nodded and turned to leave once again, and once again, Rak stopped him. He felt Rak move flush against his back and lean into his ear.

"At home though, I can't promise I'll behave," he whispered before stepping back and going to sit down.

Diao stood, wide-eyed for a minute before racing out of the office. Rak chuckled as he watched him go.

---

"Diao, aren't you going home?" Daisy asked as he and Khanom started to gather their things to leave. "Or are you waiting to take me home?"

"He'll take you to a dog shelter," Khanomthai teased. "He's coming home with me."

"So your boyfriend can show him his new girl,' Daisy teased back, earning a scowl from Khanomthai.

"I'm going in a bit, I just want to finish this," Diao said quickly, ushering the pair out.

In truth, he had nothing to finish, everything was done and what was left was for tomorrow. He was reluctant to go home. Ever since Rak teased him earlier he hadn't been able to concentrate. His mind kept drifting off to images of what Rak could mean. He'd been semi-hard ever since and because of it, he'd felt very uncomfortable.

"Are you waiting for me?"

Diao jumped and turned to see a smirking Rak leaning against the door. He looked so handsome that Diao's mind was instantly flooded once again with naughty images.

"Am I that handsome that you are speechless around me?" Rak teased after Diao still hadn't responded to him.

Diao quickly shook his head and turned back. He started collecting his things and glared as he moved past Rak who just chuckled as he followed. Diao could feel him behind him as they made their way home and he would never admit out loud how arousing it was to know he was there. He remembered the feel of him earlier, pressed against him, and could only imagine what it would feel like if there were no barriers.

"Little Diao!" Uncle Jod called out in greeting.

Diao greeted the older man.

"Oh! Little Rak too, did you both finish work together?" The older man teased.

Rak moved up closer to Diao and Diao almost forgot how to breathe.

"I finished just after Diao," he smiled.

Blushing, Diao left quickly and headed home. Uncle Jod stared after them when Rak followed. Lisa, Pleng, and Pe all came rushing up to him watching the pair leave too.

"Are they fighting? Diao looked like he couldn't get away fast enough," Pe asked the group.

Everyone shrugged and turned back to stare after the retreating backs. It was only when the pair turned a corner and could no longer be watched that they turned back to each other. Uncle Jod, smiled to himself, guessing a little about what could be up with the duo.

Rit greeted the pair as he came out of his house, just as they walked through the gate.

"P'Rak! You're just in time. I'm going to my friends to do a project. I won't be back tonight, bye," he said before rushing off.

Rak grabbed Diao's arm and pulled him towards the open door of his apartment. Stunned, Diao allowed himself to be moved until he realised where they were heading. He struggled a little but Rak closed the front door and pushed Diao against it. He pushed his body flush against his and moaned softly at the contact.

Diao's body instantly began to heat up and his heart hammered in his chest as he wrapped his arms around Ral's back. Rak crushed his lips to Diao's and moaned at the contact. Diao was slow to respond but so he opened his mouth to allow Rak the access his tongue had been asking for. The kiss was hot, heavy and filled with all the passion he could show. Eventually, Rak pulled back and rested his head on Diao's shoulder and he sighed.

"I've wanted to do that all day," he said in Diao's ear.

Diao chuckled as he thought the same thing. Instead of speaking Diao gripped him tighter and pushed his face into Rak's neck.

"Dao will be wondering where I am," Diao whispered eventually, breaking the silence.

Rak reluctantly moved back and dropped his arms. Diao turned and opened the door slightly before quickly turning back and giving Rak a small peck on the lips. Then he raced out of the house leaving a stunned Rak standing wide-eyed after him. His hand came up to touch his lips and he smiled.

Diao had to calm his racing heart before he entered his house, otherwise, Dao would know something was up. Once he felt calm enough he opened the door and found Dao in the kitchen as usual looking at her phone.

"This one is perfect! Meets all his points," she said and Diao sighed.

Dao hadn't noticed his arrival yet so he turned back and went outside. He wondered if he should go back to Uncle Jod's cafe but she could find him there, so he dismissed that idea. Diao thought hard about where he could go so that she wouldn't find him as easily. Just as the thought popped into his head, Rak opened his door.

Rak walked out with a bag of rubbish and smirked when he noticed Diao standing there watching him. Without a word, he walked out to put the bag in the bin and then back towards his door. He turned with a raised eyebrow to stare back at Diao who still had not moved.

Rak left the door open and went inside. A message on his phone made Diao jump, startling him out of his stupor.

'Diao, when will you finish work? I have a nice girl I want to show you!'

He sighed as he read his sister's text, and then he looked back up at Rak's open door. With the decision made he put his phone away and followed Rak inside. Rak was in the small kitchen when he heard the door shut. He smiled to himself and continued collecting the things he needed for dinner. Diao watched him set the table for two and moved to take a seat.

"Do you want me to make steamed eggs again?" Rak offered when he placed the bowl of leftover Tom Yum soup.

Diao smiled and nodded. He spooned two piles of rice onto his plate and then onto Rak's as he waited. When Rak placed the bowl next to him, he smiled up at him. He loved Rak's cooking so much that he was considering trying the soup as well.

Rak watched with a pleased smile when Diao took his first bite of the egg and smiled with his eyes closed. His smile grew wider as he then watched Diao take some of the soup.

"You don't have to eat that," he said softly.

"I know, but I want to try it. You've always eaten leftovers and you don't get sick," Diao said with his own smile. "Just know if I do get sick I am blaming you."

"Don't worry, if you get sick I will take good care of you," Rak said with a wiggle of his eyebrows.

Diao blushed and lowered his head taking a bite. He moaned a little at the taste, and the sound went straight to Rak's cock. He almost dropped his own fork.

After they'd finished, Diao wasn't sure what to do. He knew if he went home he would have to deal with Dao trying to set him up and he was too tired for that. His phone started to ring and he sighed as he noticed Dao's name. Rak gave him a curious look as he returned from clearing the dishes away.

"Hello Dao, what's up?" he asked.

"Diao! Why did you read my message earlier and not reply? When will you be home? This girl is your ideal type. I can bet on it," she squealed excitedly.

Glancing at Rak, he motioned for him to stay quiet.

"I won't be home until late, I have to revise a project for Rak. He needs it completed by the morning. So, I decided to stay at work to finish it," he lied, causing Rak to smirk.

"Oh! Really?" She sounded disappointed.

"I've got to go now, bye," he quickly hung up the phone and sent a look to Rak that said 'don't start!'

Not five minutes later, there was a knock on Rak's door. Diao quickly rushed into Rak's bedroom just as Dao entered without waiting to be let in. Diao made a mental note to scold her later about that. What if Rak was undressing, or they were doing something intimate and she just waltzed in?

"Rak!" she called out.

"Hello, P'Dao. Can I help you with something?" he asked.

"I just got off the phone with Diao and he said that he was still at work because there was something you needed to be done. Does it really need to be done for tomorrow? It's not like that time when it didn't actually need to be done for the next day, but you were testing him?" she asked.

"No, this time it really does need to be done for tomorrow and Diao is the only one that can do it," he lied easily and Diao smirked.

"Oh, really? Only I wanted to show him this girl, she can only meet him tomorrow if he agrees as she will be away for a few weeks after that," she explained showing Rak the pictures.

Rak shook his head at Diao's older sister and her constant meddling. He wondered when she would finally stop forcing girls on Diao, especially since Diao was now his, though to be fair she didn't know that yet.

Before Dao tried to force it and it backfired on her greatly. Rak wondered what she would say if or when she learned that he was the one in Diao's heart.

"Sorry, P'Dao but it really needs to be done," he said with a friendly voice.

Dao sighed and put her phone away.

"Fine! I guess it's just us tonight then," she flirted, batting her eyelashes at him. "I wonder if someone would keep me company because I am, oh so lonely."

Rak smiled, bowed a little and moved around her to open the door for her.

"He moves past me like I'm a ghost," she says with a sigh.

"Goodnight," he says to her as she walks out, before shutting the door.

He then walks into his bedroom to see Diao sitting on his bed. The memory of undressing Diao when he pretended to faint flashed through his mind. The image of Diao's bare torso sent heat flooding through him. Then the memory of Diao standing so close, almost touching, when he undressed him after burning his hand and banging his thumb added fuel to the flames.

"She's gone," he told Diao as he sat next to him wrapping an arm around his waist.

"Will she ever stop showing me girls? She knows about the prophecy," he said with a grunt.

"She means well," Rak defended her though he didn't really want to. "To be fair she doesn't know you're already taken by me. Though I do like keeping us a secret, it arousing when we sneak around"

"I know! I like it too, but it can be exhausting when she insists on finding someone for me all the time. I've already found my soulmate and she just needs to stop!"

It took awhile for Diao to register what he had just said but when he did his eyes shot up to stare wide-eyed at Rak. His hands came up to cover his mouth as if that could take them back. His heart hammered in his chest until he noticed the pained look in Rak's eyes.

Rak looked like he had just been punched in the stomach repeatedly in the same spot. Rak pulled his arms away and Diao instantly grabbed his hand.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

'Does he not like the idea that he's my soulmate?' he thought to himself.

"You've already found your soulmate?" his voice sounded deflated. "What is she like? Have I met her?"

Realisation dawned on Diao and without thinking he stood up and climbed onto Rak's lap. He wrapped his arms around Rak's neck and squeezed him tight. It took a while for Rak to hug him back but slowly Diao could feel his arms moving around his waist. After another squeeze, Diao then pulled back slightly so he could look into Rak's eyes.

"You idiot!" Diao chuckled. "It's you!"

Rak's eyes became wide as his eyebrows shot up.

"Don't you remember? You ticked every box of the prophecy. When you saved me from that accident you were wearing a blue outfit. We work and live together, so you're close to me. You gave me that heart, when you wanted me to change the heart on the design I did for Naroong and finally, you returned my pin to me that I thought I'd lost years ago."

It was Rak's turn to have realisation dawn on him. As soon as it did he pulled Diao in for a kiss. It was slow at first, both men leaning gently into it. Then, after Rak's tongue insisted on entry, it heated up. They clashed together as their mouths and tongues battled for dominance.

Both moaned at the taste of the other. Rak's hands glided across Diao's back as Diao's hands clung to Rak's shoulders. Rak soon broke the kiss and smirked at the heated and dazed look Diao was sporting. He made a trail of licks, nips and kisses up and down Diao's neck causing the man to moan loudly.

"Rak!"

The moaned name was barely audible but Rak heard it loud and clear and his body shivered. He pulled back and stared into the lustful gaze staring back at him. He was sure he was exactly the same.

"Diao!" he moaned too.

Slowly, he brought his hands around to the front and reached for the first button of Diao's shirt. One by one, Rak pulled at the buttons. Diao's breathing elevated with each button undone. Once the shirt was open Rak pushed it off of Diao's shoulders exposing his beautiful upper body.

Rak brought his mouth to continue what he had started on his neck. He travelled across his collarbone and then down his chest. Diao's back arched, unintentionally giving Rak the access he wanted. He flicked a tongue over one of his small buds and Diao jerked.

Diao's hands became restless and he didn't like that Rak still had his top on. Diao pulled his shirt fully off of his arms before fumbling for Rak's shirt button. Rak chuckled before leaning back so Diao could get to what he wanted easier. He stared up at the gorgeous man.

"Diao!" he moaned when he felt Diao's heated hand finally touch his bare skin.

He helped Diao fully remove his shirt before Diao pushed him backwards. Rak was now lying down on his bed with Diao straddling his waist. He smirked when he noticed the tell-tale bulge in Diao's pants, Diao also smirked at Rak's obvious arousal.

Diao leaned forward and slowly ground his erection into Rak's. He smirked as Rak's back arched this time as a moan escaped his lips. Whilst he continued to grind his hips into Rak's, his mouth tasted all across Rak's sculpted body. His tongue traced a path along his collarbone and around his pecs.

Rak finally had enough of the pleasurable torture and pulled Diao up for a searing kiss. Quickly, he sat them up and whilst holding onto Diao's ass cheeks he stood up. Diao instantly locked his legs around Rak's waist as his arms wrapped around his neck.

With next to no effort, Rak turned, knelt on the bed and slowly lowered Diao so that he was laid right in the centre of his bed. Diao pulled Rak fully down onto him so that his full weight was pressed against him. Their skin tingled as they connected fully.

Eventually, Rak started moving down Diao's body. Slowly, nipping and liking the heated skin. When he reached Diao's waist he sucked a little harder on the skin just above his hip bone and Diao practically jerked off the bed.

Rak stared into Diao's eyes, looking for any hesitation or fear, as he slowly started to undo his pants and pull his zipper down. Instead, he was met with heated and lust-filled eyes that urged him to continue.

Diao's breath caught in his throat as Rak slowly pulled his pants down his legs, leaving him only in his boxers. For a second, Diao had a brief moment of fear, he wondered if they should be doing this if it was actually too soon. After all, they had only just admitted their feelings for each other the previous day.

He was about to tell Rak that they should maybe stop when Rak stood and started to undo and lower his pants. His objections soon vanished as he watched, mesmerised, at the stunning sight slowly revealed in front of him.

Rak soon rejoined him on the bed and pressed his cloth-covered cock against Diao's. Both of them moaned again as their lips met in another heated and long kiss.

"Diao!" Rak moaned as he lifted his head.

Rak moved so that he wasn't laid fully on top of Diao. He rested on one arm so his other could explore. His hand stroked and rubbed as it made its journey south. Diao was panting and moaning hard when he finally reached his underwear. Despite having no experience being with a man, Rak was eager to see and feel his lovers aroused dick.

"Can I touch you?" he moaned into Diao's ear.

Diao quickly nodded, he was lost to the feel of Rak's hand to be able to speak. Rak chuckled and moved his hand over his boxers. Diao's cock twitched and his hips jerked at the light touch of Rak's hand through the fabric. When he finally started to grip him and rub, Diao moaned loudly.

"Rak! Please!" he didn't know what he was asking for, he just knew he needed it.

"Shhh! Patience pup!" Rak cooed as he captured Diao's mouth with his.

His heart leapt at the endearment said in a husky tone. Then Diao groaned into his mouth when he felt Rak's hand leave him only to moan even louder when he felt the bare skin of Rak's hand around his cock. He broke the kiss to look down. Rak had pulled his boxers down just under his balls so that his thick erection was on show.

"Fuck!" Rak moaned as he wrapped his hand around the shaft and started to stroke. "You feel so good in my hand."

It felt hot and silky and Rak longed to taste it. However, he didn't want to rush into anything more than this. Neither of them had been with a man before or even thought of being with one. This was probably a lot to take in for his sexy boyfriend.

Rak hadn't planned this when he told Diao earlier that he might not be able to behave at home. He had meant that once alone he wouldn't be able to stop hugging and kissing him. Rak hoped that Diao wouldn't get upset with him just because he couldn't control himself.

Rak forced his eyes away from Diao's jerking cock. He was a patient man, he would save tasting him for another time. Instead, he rubbed his thumb around the head of Diao's cock which caused a long moan to erupt from his lips.

"I want … I …" Diao panted, unable to breathe and speak for a moment.

"What do you want?" Rak asked huskily against his neck.

Diao took a few deep breaths before fixing his eyes on Rak's heated ones.

"I want to … touch you too," he gasped.

Diao pulled Rak's hand away from his aching cock, grateful that he had as he was a few strokes away from embarrassing himself. He was about to cum and Rak had barely touched him. He was sure the handsome man would have teased him endlessly for coming sooner than a virgin boy on his wedding night.

He pushed Rak so that he was once again laid down with him straddling his waist. Diao kissed and nipped down Rak's body before reaching his underwear. Slowly, he rubbed the hard length and Rak moaned.

The moan boosted Diao's confidence. He was unsure of what to do and if it would feel good, but Rak's reaction to a slight touch told him he was doing something right. Emboldened by his lover's response he gripped the hem of the boxers and pulled them halfway down Rak's thighs.

"Fuck!" he called out as Rak's impressive girth twitched under his gaze.

Tentatively, Diao gripped the base and squeezed gently. Rak's hips twitched under him and Diao bit his bottom lip as he started to pump his hand up and down.

"Fuck! Diao, your hand feels amazing," he moaned, causing Diao to smile wide.

Rak jerked when Diao rubbed the palm of his hand over the tip of his cock.

"If you keep doing that I'm going to cum way faster than I would like," Rak moaned, stopping Diao's hand.

Diao smirked down at him. He had just had a similar thought. Diao leaned down to capture his mouth in a kiss before sitting back up. He liked that they were so lost in their passion for each other that they couldn't wait to cum.

"That's ok, I'm close too," Diao said whilst moving further up Rak's body.

He was still straddling his waist but now their cocks were aligned. Diao gripped both cocks and slowly started rocking his hips. Rak moaned and flung his head back. His hands gripped Diao's hips punishingly but he was too far gone to worry about leaving bruises.

"Fuck! I'm gonna cum!" they both called out moments before jets of hot, white cum spurted out all over Rak's chest and abs.

Diao had just about enough energy to move so that he could lie beside Rak. They both panted desperately trying to get their breathing under control. Diao was the first to recover, he lifted his head to see the results of their orgasm pooling over his lover's body. Slowly, he got up off the bed and pulled his spent cock back into his underwear before walking into the bathroom.

Rak smiled sweetly as Diao returned with a wet cloth and slowly started to clean him up. Once he was satisfied Rak was clean, he threw the cloth back into the bathroom. Rak moved so that he could move under the covers. He held it open and gestured for Diao to climb in. With a smile, he happily complied and wrapped his arm around Rak's waist whilst resting his head on his chest.

"Goodnight, pup," Rak cooed into his hair.

"Goodnight," Diao said back blushing.

---

Diao smiled and tried to stretch when he awoke the next morning. However, he was stopped from moving by a tug on his waist and a grunt behind him. During the night, Diao must have turned on his side and Rak followed, spooning him from behind.

Once again, he tried to move but Rak's arms squeezed him tighter, pulling him flush against his lover's chest.

"Rak," Diao whined playfully.

Rak shook his head against Diao's neck and grumbled into it. Diao heard something along the lines of 'it's too early' and 'don't want to move'. He chuckled but somehow managed to get the big man to release him.

"Come back to bed," Rak whined, reaching out for him.

Diao chuckled once again as Rak groggily sat up. He shook his head at the silly man and started collecting his clothes.

"I can't. I have to get home before Dao wakes up so that she doesn't know that I spent the night here," he explained heading for the bathroom.

Whilst Diao showered, Rak reluctantly got up and opened the curtains. He couldn't see anyone moving into the house opposite. So, when Diao emerged from the bathroom clean and dressed he pulled him into his chest and kissed him passionately.

Diao tried to fight against him worried that Dao would see them but soon his resistance gave way to a small moan. Rak had moved his hands down his back and was slowly massaging Diao's round globes. The movement caused Diao to rock his hips against Rak's.

When he started to feel his cock beginning to react, he pulled back. Rak pouted and Diao smirked.

"Enough of that. If you carry on I'm going to have a very hard problem to deal with when I go home," he playfully chastised.

Rak moved his hips against his and smirked when Diao moaned.

"You won't be the only one."

---

Unbeknownst to the loved-up pair, Dao had woken up early. She had a large order to fill so she had decided to make an early start. Dao frowned when she poked her head into Diao's room and he wasn't there.

"Is he still at work? Did he really not come home?" she said to herself.

Dao was pulling her phone out, to see if he had messaged her when a sight out the kitchen window made her stop dead in her tracks. Like a deer in headlights, she couldn't look away.

After the initial shock wore off, she rubbed her eyes to see if she was still dreaming. However, no matter how many times she rubbed, looked away or believed she was dreaming the same sight remained.

A fully dressed Diao had his arms wrapped around Rak's neck. Whilst, Rak, half undressed, had his hands on Diao's ass. She could see them rubbing against each other as they kissed passionately.

Diao then rested his forehead against Rak's and Dao knew there was more to this than what she was seeing. She just really couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Diao smiled wide like the Cheshire Cat when he, finally, left Rak's house and made his way over. Dao wasn't around when he came in, so he quickly rushed upstairs to change for work. When he came back down half an hour later she was in the kitchen.

"Morning!" he called out happily.

Dao remained silent with her back to him. He furrowed his brow before walking up to her quietly.

"Morning!" he said louder this time.

Dao instantly jumped and turned to look at her brother. She looked troubled and he instantly started to worry.

"Dao, what's wrong? What's happened? Are Mum and Dad ok?" he asked.

She stared at her brother with a strange expression in her eyes that he couldn't quite understand. However, after a few more minutes she shook herself out of it and gave him a small smile. However, he was still worried because the smile looked forced.

"Diao, you scared me!" she said in a strange voice. "Nothing's wrong, Mum and Dad are fine. I just didn't sleep well, is all," she said, stepping back from him.

Diao watched her confused, she glanced at her watch and told him to go or he would be late. He did as she said but her face was on his mind all day. Rak noticed his distraction and called him into his office.

"You asked for me?" Diao asked as he bowed and came in.

Rak motioned for him to take a seat on the small chairs in his office before sitting on the opposite one. With a quick glance at the door, he confirmed no one was watching or could see them. So, he took one of Diao's hands in his. Diao resisted at first, also glancing at the door.

"Don't worry, no one can see us. I just wanted to check if you're ok, you've seemed distracted all morning," he explained, once Diao settled.

Diao sighed and allowed Rak to softly rub his hand. The motion was comforting and calming.

"It might be nothing, but Dao was acting strange this morning. She had a strange look on her face and she didn't smile at me like she normally does. No matter how early it is she always gives me a smile."

"Did you ask her what's wrong?" Rak asked, Diao nodded.

"Of course! She just said it was nothing and that I should go as I would be late for work. I can feel something's wrong."

Rak squeezed Diao's hand unsure of what to say. Diao gave a small smile and stood up.

"I'll be ok," he said, before giving his boyfriend a small kiss on the cheek.

---

Dao had been sitting on the sofa for over an hour. She had managed to distract herself earlier with work but now she had nothing to do and she couldn't stop thinking about what she saw.

The image of her brother kissing a man left her speechless. Not just any man either, Rak. Dao had been flirting with him for months, ever since he first came to ask about the house. He'd never reciprocated any of her flirtations, never given her any attention.

Never would she have thought Diao would catch Rak's eye instead of her. What was wrong with her? She had to be a better choice than Diao. After all, Diao is always being spiteful and rude to Rak.

"P'Dao?"

Rak smiled politely as she jumped and turned to him with wide eyes.

"Oh, Rak! You scared me," she said.

Dao was about to turn her back on him but she stopped. An evil smile spread on her face before it turned into a sweet one as she turned back to him.

"What brings you here Rak? Come to see me?" she asked sweetly as she stood and sauntered over to him.

Rak sighed inwardly at her obvious flirty tone. Dao has always been flirting but it's never been serious.

"Can I talk to you P'Dao?" he asked, side-stepping her attempt to stroke his arm.

She scowled after him as he moved to the sofa, and her arm dropped to her side. Not allowing herself to be deterred she quickly followed him and sat next to him, too close for his comfort. Rak moved away slightly whilst still smiling at her.

"Can I talk to you about Diao?" he asked.

When she scoffed and rolled her eyes, his eyes widened. Dao had never acted like that about Diao before. He didn't think Diao was being too sensitive now. Something was wrong with Dao.

"I don't want to talk about Diao. We always talk about Diao. I want to talk about us, about when you will finally admit you have feelings for me," she flirted.

"P'Dao!" he said, hoping to get her to stop messing about.

"What? Come on Rak, we can be good together. I'll always do everything for my boyfriend," she continued ignoring the tone he had.

"P'Dao! Is something wrong?" he finally asked.

She sighed and turned her back to him. Rak waited patiently for her to turn back, he didn't have to wait long.

"Rak, nothing's wrong I promise," she said with a small smile. "Now, how about you finally agree to take me out on a date."

"Dao!"

Both of them jumped at Diao's voice. Dao scowled at her brother, which made Rak smile. She would always scowl at Diao when he interrupted her flirting. So maybe it was all in their heads.

"What are you doing?" Diao asked.

Rak came up to him and tried not to stand too close, but he really wanted to. Dao noticed and she scowled a little. Jealousy surged through her. Dao stood and walked around to the pair.

"Sorry Pa!" she called out mockingly.

Diao scowled at her but soon his face softened.

"You need to stop with the flirting. What if the man takes it seriously and then gets angry when he finds out you're just teasing," he asked.

"Who says I'm just teasing? If Rak wants to get serious with me then he can. I'm ok with that," She smirked.

Rak noticed a tone change when she said the last part and it made him frown. A foreboding feeling settled in his stomach. Not wanting to give away what he was feeling he plastered on a smile.

"I'm ok with being friends," he said to her so she understood clearly he wasn't interested.

Diao gave him a small smile but Dao scowled. She knew he was choosing her brother over her and she found it ridiculous.

"I don't want to be friends," she said, shocking both of them.

"Dao?"

"I mean it! I don't want to be friends with Rak, I want to be more than that. I am the better choice for him than …" she stopped.

"Then who?" Diao asked, fearing the answer.

Dao sighed. She hadn't really planned on saying anything, or at least she hadn't decided if she was going to or not.

"Dao!" He asked again with a sterner voice.

"You mean Diao, don't you?" Rak asked.

Diao looked first at Rak and then back at Dao in shock. Dao's face changed and Diao couldn't quite understand. It looked almost like anger but then it looked like disappointment or somewhere in between.

"P'Dao?" Rak asked, coming to grip Diao's arm.

Dao saw this and it incensed her.

"Yes, I mean Diao! I saw you two kissing this morning."

Diao stared at her in shock. She had seen them and was still flirting with Rak. She even said she was better for Rak than he was.

"Dao, I …" he started but the look she gave him stopped him cold.

"I won't allow it Diao!" she said bluntly. "I can't allow it! You're two men, it's not right!"

Diao and Rak both stared at her with open mouths. Both were too shocked to speak but she didn't give them a chance to anyway.

"Think about it Diao, you are Ma and Pa's last hope for a grandchild. How can you do that with Rak? He's a man, you're a man. You need a woman to have a child. You know I can't give them what they want so it's up to you. They won't allow this! They'll be so disappointed in you."

With that final blow, she left, racing upstairs to her room. Rak watched her go before turning back to Diao. His face was pale and his mouth was still open. Rak, slowly, wrapped his arms around Diao's waist unsure of what to say or do.

Diao couldn't move or speak. It took Rak forcibly turning him to face him for Diao to wake up. His eyes were filled with tears as Rak pulled him into the tightest embrace he could.

"It's ok Diao, it'll be ok," he whispered, repeating it over and over again.

Diao had, eventually, told Rak to go home when he had calmed down a little. He hadn't known how long they had stood there wrapped in each other's arms but eventually, Diao had to pull back. He needed to think and talk to Dao.

He tried Dao's door but she refused to open it, she'd even locked it. Diao waited a few more moments before going back downstairs. He sat at the table unsure of what to do now. Diao was fiddling with his phone when it started to ring, making him jump. It was his mother!

"Hello, Ma!" he greeted, with a stale voice.

"---"

"Dao has called you?"

"---"

"Well, yes Ma. Rak and I are ..."

"---"

"Ma, please! Let me explain!"

"---"

"Ma!"

"---"

"I love him Ma!"

"---"

"I know that,"

"---"

"But Ma …"

"---"

Diao hung his head and sighed heavily.

"Yes Ma, I promise and I'm sorry."

"---"

"I'll make it up to Dao. Goodnight Ma,"

---

Several weeks passed and Diao hadn't been able to talk with Dao. She was purposefully avoiding him. As soon as he got home she would either leave or go upstairs. At work, he couldn't focus and Rak could tell.

When they were alone Diao rarely spoke or ate. Then once he had enough of pushing his food around he would say goodnight and return home. Rak was starting to feel worried but he was reluctant to push him until he had figured things out.

It took several more days of the same routine for Rak to finally speak up. Diao was once again pushing his food around his plate. Rak waited for him to decide he had finished his food and before he could leave Rak grabbed his hand.

"Diao, wait!" he said, pulling him towards the sofa. "Can we talk?"

Diao sighed as he reluctantly sat down.

"Rak, I …" he started but paused, unsure of how to start.

"Diao please, talk to me," Rak pleaded. "I'm here for you but you have to tell me what's going on, I can't help if you don't."

Rak waited as Diao collected his thoughts, you could see a thunderstorm raging in his eyes. Finally, after what felt like forever, Diao turned to him. Rak smiled warmly at him, but his smile soon fell at the sight of pain in Diao's eyes.

"I think we should break up!"

"What!" Rak gasped. "Diao, please no!"

Diao held up his hand to stop any more protests coming from him. This was already hard and Diao didn't think he would be able to go through with it if Rak tried to stop him.

"I'm sorry Rak, but it has to be this way. The last thing I want to do is break up with you but Dao was right. My parents are relying on me and I can't disappoint them. I'm sorry," he said before standing and walking out.

Rak stared dumbfounded after him. Rit came out of his room, having heard everything, and took a seat next to his brother. He patted Rak's leg as he watched his brother deflate. Rak smiled weakly at him before going into his room.

He stared out his window hoping to see Diao but all he could see was Dao with her back to him. Never had he hated a woman before, not even his ex. Quickly, he closed the curtains, turned off the lights and crawled into bed. Tears spilled down his face as he stared at the ceiling.

---

Diao slumped against Rak's door, tears flowing freely down. His hands clenched by his side as he tried to calm down. When the door pushed him forward he hoped and feared Rak was the one opening it. However, when he saw Rit his disappointment was evident.

"Are you ok?" Rit asked.

Diao nodded and turned towards his home.

"Wait P'Diao!"

Diao stopped but didn't turn around. Rit stepped closer and placed a hand on his shoulder. The young man felt a wave of pity flow through him for the older man who his brother was in love with.

"P'Diao, I know you love my brother and he loves you. I don't know the reason why you're breaking up but please reconsider it. Don't give up on him."

Rit patted him on the shoulder then left. Diao watched him go and sighed. 'I wish I could!' he thought before giving one last look towards Rak's door and then going inside.

Dao was coming from the kitchen when Diao walked in and sat down on the small bench near the door. The tears flowed freely down now and her heart thudded painfully.

Once he had removed his shoes and stood, he noticed her. Slowly he walked towards the stairs but before he went up, he turned to her.

"We've broken up! I'll meet whoever you want, and I'm sorry Dao!"

Dao watched him go upstairs with wide eyes. Her heart ached in her chest at the pained look on his face. She moved to the sofa and took a seat. Dao nervously bit her thumbnail unsure of what to do or say.

She had seen her brother upset before, seen him heartbroken too but never had she seen him like that. He looked like he was in physical pain as if his heart and soul were truly broken.

---

As each day passed Diao looked worse. Dao watched with a heavy heart as he moved around almost automatically. It was like he was just walking through life without living it.

Rak looked almost the same. Except when he caught sight of her, the cold stare unnerved her. She knew he believed she was the cause of all this and she knew he was right.

At work, Rak tried his best to continue on like normal, but it was hard. Diao looked like a ghost. During their meetings Daisy and Kanom were the only ones talking, Diao remained silent and typed away on his computer. Rak could tell they could tell something was going on with them but they weren't saying anything, at least when he was around.

He overheard them one day when he was on his way to a meeting.

"I tell you something is going on," Khanom whispered loudly.

"I know right? Diao isn't his usual self and my Suttirak seems crushed. Do you think both of them fell out because they both love me?" Daisy joked and Rak shook his head with a sad smile.

"Love to throw you in the bin is more like it but seriously, they both look like they are heartbroken or something."

'That's because we are,' Rak thought as he walked away.

---

Rak would follow him home and it was like he wasn't even aware of where he was going. He didn't even stop to greet Uncle Jod as they passed. After a few days, Uncle Jod finally stopped Rak.

"Rak, what's wrong with you and Diao? You both have the world is about to end look on your faces. Are you two fighting?"

What could Rak say to that? He gave Jod a small smile and continued to follow Diao. Everyone came out to stare at them clearly concerned but unsure of what to do.

Rak wasn't sure he could do this much longer. Seeing Diao at work and then at home, knowing they could never be anything other than what they are now. Rak knew he had to do something to change things. He knew he would never have the heart to fire Diao, he needed the job, so he would have to change things at home.

A few days later, on the weekend, Rak finally decided what he was going to do. He knew Rit wouldn't be happy about it but it had to be done. So, in the evening, Rak waited outside in the garden for Dao to come home. When she did she looked reluctant to talk to him.

"P'Dao can I talk to you?" he asked.

She smiled a little at him as she walked closer, but it wasn't her usual flirty smile. It looked almost forced like she was reluctant to even acknowledge him.

"I just wanted to tell you that Rit and I will be moving out in two weeks. You don't need to give me the deposit back, take it as compensation for us leaving in the middle of the month."

Rak didn't give her a chance to protest or agree. He walked inside his home and quickly shut the door. Dao stared after him before turning towards her door and stopping.

Diao stood with the door open watching Rak's door. Dao knew he'd heard what Rak had said, and the dead-panned look he had been sporting recently morphed into the pained look that he had the day they broke up.

Fresh tears fell down his face as he turned that gaze to her. She went to speak but he didn't give her the chance. He turned to go back inside and she was at a loss for what to do. She decided to go to talk to Uncle Jod.

---

"You're back again," Uncle Jod said with a smile.

"I need your advice," she said whilst sitting down.

Uncle Jod, Lisa, Pleng and Pe all crowded around the table and she stared at them. Instantly, Uncle Jod shooed the other vultures away and took a seat. Reluctantly, Lisa and Pe went back inside the shop and Pleng went back to her computer at the counter. All three watched eagerly, curiosity filling them.

"So, do you want to talk to me about Nong Diao and Nong Rak?" Uncle Jod asked, giving her a knowing look.

"You know?" she asked.

"I know that they were close and happy," he said with a smile.

"Happy? How could they have been happy? What life could they have?" she groaned.

"Dao, what do you need to have a good life? Huh? " he asked her. "All it takes is love, respect, honesty. Everything else is only extra. Love doesn't look at gender, it looks at your heart and soul."

"But Uncle Jod! Diao has to give our mother grandchildren. How can he do that without a woman," she knew she sounded petty and childish but it was to hide how guilty she was feeling.

"Dao, I know you don't really think that way. A man and a woman don't always guarantee a child, does it? Look at yourself," he pointed at her. "You've gone from boyfriend to boyfriend, never committing because you know you can't give them a child. Yes, a woman can only give birth but some, like you, can't even do that. So, they have other options. Surrogacy, adoption. If women can choose this then why can't Nong Diao and Nong Rak?"

Dao watched him open-mouthed and wide-eyed as he stood and walked away. She knew all of this, of course, she did, but she didn't want to admit it out loud. When she found out about them, she just reacted. Instantly, she used her jealousy as an excuse to be angry and she even used their mum against him.

A wave of disgust in herself filled her up like a tsunami wave. Dao felt lower than dirt. She had called their mum straight away, she had caused them to break up, she had caused the pained look on Diao's face, she had caused Rak to move out. It was all her fault!

Dao instantly left and took out her cell phone. She called her mother to try and see if she could put it right. Her mother may not like it but she was going to do what she should have done from the beginning.

---

"No!" Rit called out.

Rak followed his brother out into the garden and stopped when he saw Dao.

"I'm not leaving! I like it here, Dao is here! I'm not moving!" he shouted before storming out of the garden.

"Rit!" Rak called after him.

Dao moved out of the way quickly and then looked at Rak. He smiled politely and went back inside. She moved the phone back to her ear.

"Yes Ma, I'm still here," she said. "I'm sorry Ma but I mean it. I'm going to make this right and you should too. You're not the one seeing the look on his face. If you were here, you would feel the guilt the way I do."

With that, she hung up the phone and took a deep breath before moving towards Rak's door. She tentatively knocked and waited with bated breath. Rak, eventually, opened the door.

---

Rak sighed when he saw Dao, when he heard the knock he figured it must have been her. Rit wouldn't have knocked and Diao has been avoiding him. Reluctantly, he moved aside to allow her inside.

"Rak, I …" she started but paused.

Rak looked just as haunted as Diao. There were bags under his eyes, his skin looked pale and his usually bright eyes looked dull. She wasn't sure if she could fix this but she knew she had to try.

"What is it P'Dao?" he asked after she hadn't continued.

Dao moved to the sofa and motioned for him to sit down. He sighed again but did as she asked.

"I've come to say I'm sorry, Rak," she said softly.

Rak nodded at her but stayed silent.

"I know I reacted badly, and I know it's all my fault. I'm not here to ask for your forgiveness but I want to try and make it right."

A small flutter of hope ignited inside his heart but he didn't want to fan the flames too soon. He didn't know what she was going to do but if it didn't work it would crush him even more. Dao could see the light slowly rising in his eyes so she knew he believed her.

"This is what we are going to do."

---

That Friday evening, Diao came home from work and like he had done every day for the past few weeks, he stared longingly at Rak's door before entering his home. Dao was sitting at the kitchen table but he didn't acknowledge her.

"Diao, come and sit down," she ordered.

Reluctantly, Diao did as he was told and took the seat across from her. The look on his face really pained her but she knew it wouldn't be there for long.

"I need you to go and get a shower and get dressed in your finest suit," she told him. "The one you wore for the date with May, ok?"

Diao nodded and went upstairs. Dao called after him telling him he had an hour and a half to be ready. Whilst he was upstairs she busied herself with setting the kitchen table for a romantic dinner for two. The food didn't take long to cook and soon Diao was back downstairs looking just as handsome as ever.

The black velvet suit jacket always made him appear very regal. Even though his face looked dead it still made him look just as handsome.

"I'm ready P'Dao," he whispered.

Dao stopped a second at the way he said her name. It had been years since he had called her P'Dao. For a moment it stunned her into silence. Eventually, she remembered the two plates of food in her hands and continued onto the table. Once she had finished setting the table she made her way over to Diao.

"You look really handsome," she said with a small smile, which vanished at his dull nod.

"Diao, I know you are not feeling great but I need you to be at your best. It has taken me a long time to find the right one for you," she told him as she wiped imaginary fluff off his jack and straightened up his shirt.

Diao nodded and took a deep breath. The plastered smile on his face unnerved her but she knew it wouldn't be on there for long.

"Good! Now take a seat and they should be here in a sec."

Again, Diao did as he was told and took the seat she offered. He sighed as he looked at the romantic setting. There were candles, wine and a nice bouquet of roses. His heart sank as he pictured Rak sitting across from him as they enjoyed their meal.

Just then he heard Dao's excited call as someone knocked on the door. Diao took a deep breath, stood from his seat and plastered a smile on his face as he turned to see who had arrived.

"Rak!" Diao gasped.

Rak walked into the kitchen area wearing a black suit with a crisp white shirt. Diao thought he looked gorgeous and a stab of pain filled his chest.

Dao stood beside Rak with a small smile on her face. Diao looked confused between the pair. He couldn't understand why he was there, or why Dao was happy about it.

"What's going on?" he asked.

Dao walked up to him and took both of his hands in her own. She stared into his eyes and made sure he was focused right on her.

"I'm sorry Diao, I am so sorry for what I did. It's all my fault and I will understand if you never forgive me but I'm trying to make it right. Rak is here because I asked him to come. I can never take back what I said or did but I hope that I can repair what you two had and get you back together."

"But what about …" Diao started, unwilling to hope too soon.

"Don't worry about Ma," she said before releasing one of his hands and holding out for Raks.

Rak stepped forward and took her proffered hand. Diao watched as she pulled it into his hand and put hers over them.

"If Ma and Pa can't accept this then I will be there to help you. If they can't see how right you are for each other then forget them for now, they will soon change their minds."

A single tear slid down Diao's cheek and Dao wiped it away. He pulled his sister into a hug.

"Thank you," he whispered in her ear.

Dao pulled back and wiped a tear from her own face.

"Now come on, this food won't eat itself. I'm going to stay over at one of my girlfriends so you have the house to yourself tonight," she said with a wink causing Diao to blush.

"Dao!" he called out as she waved goodbye to them.

Rak and Diao stood there staring at each other. The feel of each other's hand sent warmth up their arms. Rak, soon, could no longer stand it. He pulled Diao to him and instantly attached his mouth to his. Their lips licked and nipped at each other's as their hands grabbed anywhere they could.

Rak's hands squeezed Diao's hips before moving around to grab each of his mounds. Diao moaned into the kiss as his hands gripped Rak's shoulder blades trying to bring him closer. Soon, the need to breathe pulled them apart but they remained locked in each other's embrace. They rested their foreheads together as they panted.

"God! I have missed you so much!" Rak whispered.

"I have missed you too," Diao said before claiming his mouth again.

Eventually, Rak forced himself to break the kiss. He smirked at the flushed and dazed look Diao was sporting.

"Come on, Dao took the time to cook. We should eat before we get carried away."

---

During the meal, Rak refused to let go of Diao's hand so they found it a little difficult to eat with one hand but they managed it. Diao had been just as reluctant. After the meal, Diao insisted that Rak come up to his room, not that Rak needed much convincing.

Once inside his room, Diao pushed Rak up against the door. His mouth covered Raks in a heated kiss as their hands hurriedly undressed each other. Soon they were both clad only in their boxers. Rak pushed Diao back and onto the bed. As usual, he hovered over the younger man and smiled.

"I love you Diao!" he whispered before claiming his mouth.

Diao's eyes widened at the confession and his heart soared. Tears collected in his eyes and Rak smiled.

"I love you too!" Diao whispered back.

Rak started to kiss down Diao's neck as Diao's arms gripped at Rak's back as if he was afraid he would disappear. Rak felt the same as his mouth travelled across his lover's chest and abs, he couldn't let go, couldn't stop touching him. When he finally reached Diao's underwear he didn't give the man a chance to realise what he was doing before he attached his mouth to the obvious arousal jerking under the thin fabric.

Diao's whole body jerked at the feel of Rak's lips on his sensitive tip. He looked down and almost came at the sight. Rak's eyes were glued to his as he sucked and nipped the tip.

"Rak!" he moaned.

With a smirk, Rak hooked a finger under the waistband and quickly pulled down his boxers. Now Diao was completely naked and he didn't care. He thought he would have felt embarrassed to be naked and hard under Rak but all he wanted was to feel Rak in any way he could.

Rak gripped Diao's leaking cock and licked from the base to the tip and groaned. The sound of Diao moaning as well as the taste of the pre-cum was making him dizzy with arousal. Diao squirmed under him as he clamped his mouth around the tip and moved down.

"Fuck!" Diao called out as Rak hallowed out his mouth.

He couldn't believe how hot it felt to have Rak's hot, wet mouth around his member. Rak then moved his mouth off only to move down to Diao's sack. He tongued and sucked and Diao's body quivered. Rak couldn't get enough, he couldn't believe how much he was feeling just from giving his lover pleasure.

Soon, Diao wanted to taste Rak as well so he pulled the other man up and turned them so that Rak was now under him.

"My turn," he said with a smirk before ridding Rak of his underwear.

The older man's hard member bobbed and Diao's eyes widened. He never thought the sight of an erect cock would almost make him cum, but here he was trying to stave off his orgasm.

A touch of nerves flashed through him as he tentatively took hold of Rak's erection and started to pump. Rak moaned and Diao, emboldened, leaned down and flicked his tongue over the slit. Never had he thought he would be aroused just by touching and tasting another man.

Diao's tongue swiped up and down Rak's length and he moaned. A bead of cum leaked from the top and Diao didn't even hesitate. He lapped at the juices and groaned against his erection. Rak tasted salty but hot. Diao wrapped his mouth around the tip before moving down, trying to take as much of him in as he could.

"Fuck! Diao, just like that! Keep going!" he moaned.

Diao smirked, he wanted to continue giving Rak the pleasure he was asking for but there was something else he wanted. He smirked at the groan Rak gave when his cock popped out of his mouth.

"I need you, Rak," he moaned as he crawled up his body and kissed him.

It took a moment for Rak to understand what Diao was saying. Once the penny dropped, his eyebrows raised and his eyes went wide.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

Diao kissed him once again and nodded. Rak took no more encouragement and flipped them over, he then flipped Diao over once more so he was laying on his stomach. With a gentle pull, Diao moved so he was kneeling on all fours.

He was glad that Rak had put him in this position because he knew what was going to come next and he wasn't sure if he could bear to watch. He was embarrassed as it was having his naked ass sticking up in the air, but watching a man lick his hole in preparation was a bit too much.

When he felt the hot wet tongue glide over his gland he jerked and then moaned. He never thought it would feel good but he was spasming with every swipe. Rak continued paying attention to the puckered hole whilst nipping and kissing each cheek. One of his hands was on Diao's hip whilst the other was slowly pumping Diao's erection

"Fuck Rak! That feels so good," Diao whimpered.

Rak smiled and then brought a hand up to rub against his hole. Again, Diao jerked so Rak did it again. Soon, Diao felt one of Rak's fingers pushing inside. It was a strange sensation, a little painful but pleasurable at the same time. Especially, when his finger repeatedly swiped across what he assumed was his prostate.

"Rak! Please!" he moaned as the pleasure was becoming too much.

Rak pulled out his fingers and lined himself up. First, he coated his thick member with some of his spit and made a mental note to buy some lube, before pushing the tip against his entrance.

The pain intensified for Diao but he gritted his teeth and tried not to move. He knew that the pain would be short-lived; all he had to do was endure it. Rak considered pulling out and stopping. He could see the pained look on Diao's face.

"Should I stop?" he asked, his voice hoarse.

"No!" Diao gasped. "Keep going, please don't stop!"

Through gritted teeth, so as not to lose control, he pushed inside a little more then back out. With each thrust, he would inch further inside. The tightness that surrounded his cock was beyond anything he could imagine. Rak was finding it hard to remain in control.

"Don't … don't hold back Rak … please … I need you!" he panted, his eyes fixed on Rak's.

With those words, his resolve finally broke. Rak moved so only the tip was inside before slamming back in. Diao moaned loudly as with each thrust Rak's hard cock rubbed against his prostate which sent shockwaves of pleasure throughout his body.

Soon, Rak pulled on Diao's shoulders so that he was forced to lift up. His back was now pressed against Rak's front and the new angle created a new shockwave. Diao's arms moved around to grip Rak's globes whilst one of Rak's arms held him in place whilst the other moved down to grip Diao's cock.

It wasn't hard, but with only a few pumps it quickly started to thicken up. Diao turned his head so that he could attach his mouth to Raks. Both were heady with the assault of multiple sensations and had to break free to catch their breaths.

"Yes!"

They both cried as their orgasms took them by surprise. Diao shot out jets of hot, white cum onto the bedding below whilst Rak came inside his lover. The feeling of Rak releasing inside him sent another wave of pleasure that had him twitching.

The pair panted as their hearts hammered away. Rak peppered small kisses along Diao's neck. Eventually, Diao slumped forward and Rak chuckled.

Rak slowly pulled out and groaned as he saw a bit of his cum leaking out. He used the head of his cock to push it back in, making Diao moan again. He had enough sense to go get a washcloth and wipe Diao up before removing the bed sheet and climbing in next to Diao, who instantly wrapped his arms around Rak and gripped him tight as they fell asleep. Diao awoke to a sight he had missed dearly the past few weeks. Rak's peaceful face slept soundly next to him. Diao's face lit up as he watched Rak sleep. Eventually, he slowly got up so as not to disturb him and got dressed.

Dao was sitting at the kitchen table when he came downstairs and she smiled sweetly at him. She patted the table in front of her and he took the seat. Dao held out her hands for his and he slowly took them.

"How was it Diao?" she asked with a wink.

Diao instantly blushed and Dao laughed.

"I can tell from your reaction it was a great night," she said before she suddenly sobered up. "I really am sorry that I made you miserable. I wish I could take it back but I can't. However, I promise you from now on, I'll be on your side ."

Diao smiled at her but then frowned.

"What about Ma? She wants a grandchild and since you can't have one then I …"

"Wait Diao!" Dao stopped him. "There is more than one way for either of us to have a child. There is surrogacy and adoption. If Ma isn't happy with those choices then that's too bad because I don't want you to sacrifice your happiness just to give them a grandchild and they shouldn't want that either."

Diao smiled weakly at her. He hoped she was right. Dao smiled brightly at him as they both heard Rak coming downstairs. Diao's cock jerked at the sight of Rak wearing one of his shirts whilst Dao tried not to laugh. Rak's physique was slightly bigger than Diao's, so the shirt was very tight on him.

"I'm sorry I didn't ask first but all I had was the dress shirt and it was missing a few buttons. I didn't think you would want me coming downstairs half naked," he said with a smirk when he noticed Diao's hungry stare.

"I wouldn't have minded!" Dao teased but sobered when Diao sent her a scowl. "Sorry!"

Dao then stood and approached Rak.

"I hope this means that I don't have to start looking for new tenants, right?"

Rak looked hopefully at Diao who was staring right back at him with the same expression. He smiled and nodded at Dao who squealed and hugged him. Diao pulled her off of him and she smiled before pulling them both into a hug.

---

Rak and Diao returned home to find Rit sitting crossed-legged on the sofa scowling at some of the open boxes Rak had started to pack.

"Rit?"

Rit jumped at the sound of his name and turned. He was about to lay into Rak about not leaving when he noticed Diao as well as their joined hands. His eyes lit up and a big smile broke out on his face.

"Does this mean what I think it means?" he asked, pointing to their hands.

Rak and Diao both nodded and Rit squealed.

"Yes! Yes!" he said whilst jumping off the sofa to hug his brother. "I'll put all of this away then."

They chuckled at Rit as he raced around to pack away the few things Rak had started to pack up. They decided to leave him to it and went into Rak's room. Rak changed into something more comfortable and lay down on his bed. He held out his arms for Diao who happily climbed onto the bed and laid his head on his chest.

They lay like that for some time, neither one willing to break the silence. However, Diao couldn't stay quiet for long.

"Rak?"

"Hmmm?"

"I'm worried about my Ma," he started, lifting his head to look into Rak's eyes. "What if she can't accept this? It broke me to break up with you before, I don't think I can do it again but I can't disappoint my parents."

Rak sighed as he brushed a stray hair out of Diao's eyes.

"I guess we will have to show her that I'm the right one for you. After all, the psychic she sent described me as your soulmate, as well as saying you should stay with me as I will bring good fortune."

Diao chuckled and laid his head back down. He hoped that Rak was right, he's never loved anyone like this before. Diao placed a small kiss on the part of Rak's chest that he was resting on and sighed happily. Rak in turn kissed the top of Diao's head and sighed happily as well.

----

A month passed and Rak and Diao have been as loved up as anyone could be. At work, Diao found it hard to remain composed especially when certain looks Rak would give him would spark a memory of the many nights that had made love. He was finding it really hard to remain professional at times.

Daisy and Kanomthai had noticed this and found themselves standing to the side, often whispering about it. Diao could see them but did his best to ignore them. When they were at home, Rak would cook a meal for four in Diao's home, much to Rit's happiness, and then they would either watch a movie or go into either one's bedroom.

Dao smiled at how happy her brother looked. She was worried that she couldn't fix things and that Diao and Rak would be forced apart permanently. However, now she could rest a little easier. Neither of them had heard from their parents but she figured they just needed time to think things through.

Dao was just settling in for the night, Diao had gone over to Rak's several hours before when a knock on her door startled her. She imagined it might be Rit, a few times he had asked to sleep over in Diao's room as he didn't want to hear what his brother was up to. She smiled as she opened the door.

"You need a place to crash again, Rit?" she asked then paused.

Rit was indeed at the door but so was her mother. Rit looked between the two and bowed before heading inside and up to Diao's room. Dao's mother walked in after him and frowned.

"Does he live here? Who is that young man?" she asked.

There was a moment's silence before Dao managed to shake herself out of her shock and quickly shut the door. She walked up to her mother and nervously chuckled.

"Well that young man, that's Rit, he lives next door as my tenant with his brother," she explained.

"Why is he sleeping here?" her mother asked.

"Well… the thing is… his brother is the one Diao is with. Diao is… next door with Rak. So, he sleeps in Diao's room so as not to disturb them," she explained whilst getting a glass of water for her mother.

The face her mother pulled meant she knew what Dao meant by sleeping over and she hoped that she wasn't here to cause a fuss. Dao took a seat next to her mother and sighed.

"Ma, why are you here?" she asked.

Her mother stayed silent for a long time. It looked like she was trying to carefully pick her words. Like she wasn't quite sure what she was going to say.

"I am here Dao because I want to meet the man that has converted my son. I want him to look me in the eyes and explain to me why I won't have the chance now to have grandchildren."

Dao sighed again and rubbed her eyes. She knew her mother wouldn't be here to do anything other than guilt Diao into leaving Rak again.

"Oh, Ma! There are so many options nowadays. Plus look at me, I'm a woman but I can't have children. If I want one I have to adopt, so why can't they? They can also find a surrogate. If you're here to break them up Ma, then you can leave."

Her mother's wide eyes showed she hadn't expected Dao to say that.

"I mean it Ma. You didn't see the way Diao was after we forced them to break up. I've seen Diao when he's been dumped or broken up with someone and he's been depressed but this was different. He was a ghost!"

Dao took hold of her mother's hands and hoped she could get through to her.

"His face was pale like he hadn't been sleeping or eating. His eyes were lifeless and blank. He even called me P'Dao in such a sad and depressing way the one and only time he talked to me. The day after they broke up, the pain that was in his eyes was torture to even see. Then there were two weeks of him being a ghost before Rak told me he was going to move out, and then the pain was back."

A tear slid down her cheek as the memories flooded her mind. She quickly wiped it away. Her mother's steel gaze hadn't changed.

"I couldn't stand that look, on either of them. Rak was no better. Since I got them back together Diao has been happier than I have ever seen him. Happier than he ever was with anyone before. Rak is who he needs, he is his soulmate."

His mother scoffed at that and pulled her hands away from Dao's.

"His soulmate! How can his soulmate be a man? Tell me that!" she challenged.

"I can tell you that!"

Both Dao and her mother jumped at the sudden voice and turned to see Rak standing in the living room. He was holding a small bowl.

"I'm here to return the popcorn bowl. We've finished the movie and we're going to head to bed. We have an early meeting tomorrow," he said whilst handing the bowl to Dao.

Dao stood and took it into the kitchen whilst her mother stood to square herself at the young man before her.

"My name is Suttirak," he said with an offered hand but it was ignored.

With a gracious smile, he lowered his hand and continued to smile politely at her. Dao soon joined them and stood by Rak, unsure of what was going to happen.

"You and my daughter look more like a match than you and my son," she said as she noticed Dao take hold of his arm.

Rak smiled down at Dao and then back up at her mother.

"But I am not Dao's soulmate," he told her. "I am Diao's!"

Again, Diao's mother scoffed and folded her eyes, challenging him.

"The psychic you sent described five things, five events that would happen to show him his soulmate. They would meet by accident and they would be wearing blue, they would be close to them and give them a heart. Finally, they would return something to him that he'd lost."

His mother nodded whilst Dao looked at him curiously. She was wondering where he was going with this.

"Ma?" Everyone turned to see Diao walking in.

His eyes were wide for a moment before a steely gaze fell over them as he made his way over. He stood slightly in front of Rak and smiled nervously at his mother.

"This young man says he is your soulmate," she said coldly.

"He is Ma. We met by accident. I was talking on the phone and he saved me from getting hit and he was wearing a blue suit. Then I met him at work that same day. He's my boss and our tenant. Also, for one of my projects he gave me a heart design to use."

He smiled as he moved to collect his work bag. Diao showed his mother and Dao the pin.

"Finally, he returned this pin to me. I lost it in Chiang Mai when I was at university. He'd been there at the same time and picked it up, he kept it with him all this time. I know it's mine because I'd etched a symbol onto the back so I would recognise it."

"Plus the psychic you sent said that he should keep me around as I would bring good fortune," Rak added.

Diao remained silent as he waited for his mother to process all the information. Dao's face lit up and he could tell she was about to gush over what he had just said. However, his mother still looked displeased.

"Really?" Dao asked.

Diao and Rak both smiled at her and nodded and she squealed.

"But what about children?"

"We could either adopt or have a child through surrogacy. I know you want grandchildren but are you really willing to sacrifice your son's happiness just to get one? Does your grandchild have to be related by blood?" Rak asked.

Diao's mother glared at him.

"Of course I want my son to be happy but …"

"But what Ma?" Diao asked. "Do you think that I can only be happy with a woman? All the women I have dated are proof that statement isn't true. I've never been this happy with anyone. I love him Ma!"

"What do you love about him?" She asked Diao.

Diao remained silent for a moment before he turned to face Rak taking both of his hands in his. He wanted to look into Rak's warm eyes as he spoke. Though he spoke to his mother he refused to look away from Rak.

"I love that he can cook and his food is just as good as yours. I love that he can smile and tolerate me when I'm being difficult. He's patient, kind and responsible. At work, he's the best boss I've ever had and that was before we ever had feelings for each other. He challenges me and sticks up for me because he knows I can do it."

Rak's eyes shone with unshed tears as he lifted one of Diao's hands in his for a gentle kiss.

"What about you? What do you love about my son?" she asked.

Rak glanced at her before turning back to Diao. He gave Diao's hand another kiss as he smiled.

"I love that he can act like a silly child and still be unbelievably cute. I love the faces he makes when he eats my food and the looks he gives me to try and pretend he isn't enjoying it. I love how determined he is in everything he does, and how he cares about his friends and family. I just love him the way he is."

Diao was blushing but didn't want to look away. If his mother wasn't here he would kiss him but he didn't think that would go down well.

"I also love how picky and particular he can be at work. Other people think he only argues with me all the time but really all he is doing is asking for more information so he can deliver what we want or exceed it. His passion for his work was one of the things that drew me to him, despite his work history I wanted him. Despite how many times he would argue with me, or use silly excuses to make silly house rules, I was still willing to fight for him when we thought he would lose his job."

Rak now turned to face Diao's mother whilst still holding onto Diao's hand.

"I know I am not what you expected in a partner for your son and I know I can't physically give you a grandchild but …" He smiled lovingly at Diao before turning back. "If you give me the chance I will do whatever it takes to make Diao happy. To give him everything he needs in life. To be there for him when he is down and when he is happy. To support him through his troubles and to celebrate his victories. To hold his hand when he needs help and to push him forward when he needs encouragement. I won't run away or change my mind. Once I commit to loving something or someone then no one can turn my head. Only the other person can leave me, I can't leave them. Nothing you can do or say will make me step away from him."

Everyone waited with bated breath as Diao and Dao's mother eyed Rak. She stared at him up and down as if analysing which parts of him would taste better. The silence went on so long that they were starting to worry that nothing would change her mind.

"You've got to be ok with them!"

Everyone turned again to another voice as Rit came around the corner and rushed up to Dao's side.

"You must be ok with them! If you're not then it means we have to move and I don't want to move. I want to be near P'Dao…" everyone stared at him. "Ermm… I mean that they love each other and it's not only Diao that has never been this happy. I've never seen P'Rak like this either, not with any of his past girlfriends."

"Rit!" Rak said in warning.

The younger man bowed in apology and came to stand behind his brother. A small smile appeared on the older woman's face before it disappeared but everyone saw it.

After a long pause and without a word Diao's mother left the room and went upstairs. Everyone stared after her and a sinking feeling settled in everyone's stomach. Dao moved to hold Diao and Rak's arms.

"Don't worry. Just give her some time and she'll come around. Now that she's met Rak I am sure she will see how good he is for you," she told them. "Go back to Rak's, don't you have a meeting tomorrow? I will look after Ma."

She ushered the pair outside and told Rit to go too. Dao wasn't sure where her mother was sleeping but she knew she wouldn't be sleeping in the same room. She didn't want to spend the night trying to convince her mother to accept Diao's relationship.

Diao sighed as he lay down in Rak's bed. Rak quickly wrapped his arms around Diao and pulled his back against his chest.

"It'll be ok Diao," he whispered into his ear.

---

The next day after work, Diao nervously waited outside his front door. Rak noticed him and took his hand. With a deep breath, he opened the door and they stepped inside. Diao's mother was sitting with Dao on the sofa and they both looked up at them.

"Come here, you two. I have something to say!"

Diao's mother motioned for them all to take a seat at the table. Rak held onto Diao's hand under the table as they waited. She looked between the pair, her eyes like steel. It was Dao that couldn't take the silence.

"Oh, Ma! Come on, the suspense is killing me. Just put them out of their misery already!" she called out with a laugh.

Rak and Diao stared at her wide-eyed before turning back to stare at Diao's mother. She was now laughing and smiling at the pair.

"Oh, your faces are a true sight. I wish I had my camera!" she chuckled.

If Diao and Rak were not confused before they definitely were now. Neither of them could make heads or tales of what was going on.

"Oh Diao!" she said, taking his hands. "Just like Dao, at first, I reacted badly. I thought of myself and what I wanted. I thought I knew what was best for you and for your future. I made a mistake, I won't ask for forgiveness from either of you."

She reached out to take Rak's hand too.

"I hope that one day you can forgive all of us but right now all I want to hear from you is that you're happy. I'm here for a few days so I plan to get to know my future son-in-law."

After the initial shock wore off, everyone laughed and instantly the tension in the room vanished. Diao beamed at Rak as his eyes shone.

---

The next day Diao could not stop smiling at work. All through the meeting, he tried to calm his face but nothing would work. Rak fared no better. Everyone noticed and started to gossip. Daisy, Kanomthai and Manao were the most vocal as they huddled together. A few days later they finally couldn't hold their tongues anymore.

"Diao! You and Rak have been acting suspiciously happy recently. First, you hated him, then you were like best friends and then you avoided him. After that, you two acted strange with each other. Now you are acting like you're on cloud nine as if you're in love," Daisy asked in a teasing tone.

Diao blushed and avoided his eyes.

"See! I think we are right, Daisy. Look at how he's blushing," Kanom gushed happily.

Diao instantly stood up and noticed Rak standing at the door entrance. He was smirking as Diao scowled a little at him. 'Well, two can play that game!' he thought to himself.

"That's right Daisy! I am in love!" he called out, shocking everyone in the room.

Daisy, Kanom and Manao all squealed whilst Rak still looked shocked.

"Who with?" Manao asked, trying to grab him. "With me? I knew you had feelings for me."

Daisy happily pulled her back and scowled at her. Diao smirked at Rak and moved through the group, grabbed him by the face and kissed him right there in front of everyone.

He pulled back, looked at all the shocked faces and quickly left. Rak blinked after him and looked back at the equally shocked group. He also left but he had not gone two steps before he heard a loud squeal from the room behind him.

Rak chuckled as he raced after Diao. Only managing to catch up to him once he was inside the garden at home. He pulled the younger man to him and kissed him. Diao, stunned only for a moment, eventually kissed him back. It was slowly heating up until a small cough forced them apart.

Diao's mother stood smirking at the pair with her bags at her feet.

"Oh Ma, are you leaving already?" Diao asked as he turned bright red.

"Yes, I need to get back to your father," she said with a smirk. "Take care of my son!"

She hugged each man in turn before bidding them goodbye. As soon as Rak believed she was far enough away, he pulled Diao towards his home and straight into his room.

Without a word, Rak threw Diao onto the bed and instantly started to undress. Diao knelt up and hastily did the same. Soon they were both naked and Diao grabbed Rak and pulled him down onto the bed with him.

They both moaned at the feel of each other's naked skin against their own. The heat ignited between them as they truly lost themselves to each other.

Diao moaned as Rak trailed a path of nips, licks and kisses down his body before licking his way around Diao's aching cock. Diao's hips jerked as his body convulsed with pleasure.

"Rak!" he moaned.

Rak moved back up his body and Diao instantly flipped them. He crawled up and reached over for the bedside table. Rak smirked when he pulled out the half-used bottle of lube. Diao applied a generous amount around Rak's erection, pumping him slightly before lining himself up and sliding down with a moan.

"Fuck!" Rak called out at the tightness.

"So good!" Diao moaned as he slowly rocked his hips.

Rak gripped his hips and bucked up into him. The sound of slapping skin was met with guttural moans. Diao's hard cock slapped against Rak's stomach as he moved and Rak moaned at the sight.

When they first started to make love, it was hard for Diao to get or keep an erection when Rak was inside him. The pain would be a bit too much for him to focus on the pleasure. Rak would bring his erection back and pleasure him after he had orgasmed. Now his erection stood tall and proud.

Rak grabbed it tight and started to pump in time with Diao's thrusts and soon they were both cumming with the other's name on their lips. Diao collapsed onto him and Rak gently moved them so that his spent cock slowly pulled out. Rak dutifully cleaned up himself and his boyfriend before drawing the covers and wrapping himself around him.

"I love you!" Rak whispered against his skin.

"I love you too," Diao responded with a sleepy kiss.

"I meant what I said Diao. I'm going to do everything I can to make you happier than you've ever been," he said whilst placing his finger and thumb under Diao's chin and lifting his head to look at him.

"I already am," Diao said with a smile drawing the other man down for a kiss.

They fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms and sighed contentedly knowing life could only get better.
