"...?" Myeong hesitated for a while. "I- uh sure..." Myeong said half-heartedly, he wasn't completely comfortable around strangers and his shaken body was in no state to fight anyone.
Kwan walked in front of him as he tagged along behind. They walked past the almost endless corridor, that seemed like something out of a horror movie. the guest room that Myeong had been staying in was almost identical to every room in the vicinity, every room was as luxurious and spacious as the last.
After arriving at the elevator, Myeong immediately began sweating, an elevator would be the perfect place for him to get killed as no one could hear him. Not to mention, it was a closed space, that confined him from running away. Kwan immediately noticed Myeong's hesitation and chuckled.
"Don't worry kiddo, if I wanted to kill you I would have left you on the street."
"What do you intend to do with me then?"
"Talk, of course!"
Kwan uttered an incantation and the elevator doors immediately opened. They entered the elevator and after arriving at the ground floor Myeong was completely shocked.
The ground floor could have potentially been a building in itself, despite this it was crowded to the brim with a loud and chaotic atmosphere to match it. It was busy to the say the least... it was comparable to an airport.
Rather frequently, Myeong would spot strong presences but they didn't amount to much compared to Kwan and after Myeong started walking past everything became silent.
Kwan eagerly spoke with confidence bellowing loud so that everyone could hear him.
"Greetings Everyone!"
A few men in suits murmured.
"It's the boss..."
"Indeed."
"Do you think something bad happene-"
"Silence!" Kwan hollered. His eyes were threatening to any that matched his gaze. Myeong observed that not a single person did so, and instead lowered their gaze or looked away.
Kwan turned towards the men in suits and stared directly into their eyes. The men who feared to return the gaze immediately looked anywhere else.
"Contact Da Dae-Hyun for me. Tell him a meeting is required as soon as possible."
"Y-Yes sir!"
"Very well, I will be temporarily leaving. If there is any concerns during this time I would like you to report it to Hong Youngsoo, the co-leader. Furthermore, I wish you all good luck on your quests, ventures or business enquires and even more luck to the people who applied to become a clan member."
A man in the crowd immediately remarked Kwan's bold statements.
"Shut up old geezer! What do you know about the application process."
Myeong stared into Kwan's eyes as his pupils glinted red, and within a margin of a second, Kwan teleported outside of Myeong's view. After a second, Myeong heard the fear of the man's voice and looked over to see the man who had remarked at Kwan's statement was shaking and his face was a bright shade of blue.
Kwan stood behind him.
"I am Ryu Kwan the faction leader and therefore I have designated the application process... Is that sufficient for your standards?" Kwan was strangely soft in his tone, though Myeong depicted that there was an underlying harshness to his tone.
Hearing the following news, the man immediately dropped to the ground and began shaking uncontrollably.
"You-Your Ryu Kwan??!??!?"
"Yes, would you like me to prove it?"
"N-N-No it's just I never thought I would be meeting the legendary Kwan in person, I am deeply sorry p-p-please forgive me..."
Kwan teleported back to his previous position next to Myeong and a crowd made a path for him towards the glass entrance. As they walked past, Myeong could feel the gaze of the crowd towards him. As well as hearing some of the comments made by some of the crowd members.
"I can't believe I just saw Kwan...."
"Same here, my family will never believe me."
"Whose the kid though?"
"Can't say I've ever seen him."
When they had arrived outside Kwan whispered towards Myeong.
"Sorry about that."
"...?"
"Surely you could feel people were giving you strange looks."
"Kwan."
"Yes?"
"You mentioned something about being a faction leader... Does that mean your really strong?"
Kwan laughed very loudly which alarmed the people inside the building and made them freeze. Kwan stared back into the building and immediately apologised before quickly leaving with Myeong into a park that lead off of the building.

The grassy fields and tall grass seemed so remarkable under the sun. There was a slight breeze that swayed the trees side by side. It was quiet. However, Myeong preferred it that way, it added to the grandeur of it all, making it seem even more surreal.
Myeong and Kwan stood at the the top of one of the hills.
"So, is there anything new you can recall?"
"Not really, no"
"Do you have any parents?"
"They are both dead.."
"I see, I am sorry. Is there anywhere you can stay for the night?"
"Not that I can think of."
"In that case some luggage is arriving at your room as we speak. You can stay for as long as you would like."
Kwan smiled at Myeong. Myeong sat on the top of the hill and admired the skyscraper he had left. It was by far the largest skyscraper he had witnessed or even heard of and towered above the rest of the land. On the top was a torch-like structure that he assumed shone more during the night.
Suddenly something caught Myeong's eyes. For a second the light almost seemed like an eye and he immediately pointed it out to Kwan.
"Impressive... almost all of the strongest faction members don't see it on their first time looking at it."
"The eye of the shadow cyclopes, is an all-seeing eye and like your permanent contact lenses can see power levels but instead it has a far larger range than your eyes. It was also how I found you..."
"A what?"
"Oh, don't worry about it." Kwan smiled, his eyes locked on to the blue sky. "Beautiful isn't it, it's a private space so not many people are allowed here."
"Then why am I?" Myeong said, slightly at edge.
"To give you a break of course from the confinement of the room,"
"Is it really though?"
Kwan sighed.
"Okay, you got me there is something I need to ask you..."
